4.21.25 (This is my 900th Yelp review) I came to this Walmart today. This is the closest one to me. I needed some snack foods and a few other items. So let the adventure begin. It took me a while to find some items I was looking for but next will be easier. Yes, that's right I said "next time". I think I will start doing some of my shopping at this location. Recent deliveries have been to the wrong house. Drivers do not verify house number, and their navigation maps put them in the wrong location. Lately, they don't speak English. So when you call them while in transit, they don't understand and hang up. Best bet is to avoid delivery services from Walmart. read more

I'm all about curbside pickup - it was fast and accurate. Plenty of parking spaces and easy in/out.

Walmart flipped the side of the store where pickup is.... And they didn't put ANY signage on the old sign to indicate it. They even have the old parking signs there, just turned around. I sat there probs 10 min before realizing NO ONE had come out the side to serve the vehicles around me. Then I spent 5 min calling the store and getting zero answers before a guy came out the side to tell us "yeah, we removed the pickup sign from this side and put it on the other side". Um - removing a sign from a place where pick up has been for years is not sufficient retraining for customers... You need to put up signage, redirecting people from the old spot to the new. We are on autopilot. At this point I have been on this Walmart campus 50 minutes and still haven't seen my order. I have 3 children in the car and truly want a curbside order instead of going inside. Absolutely the worst Walmart I've been to. I asked 4 different people to help me get something from the top shelf and they all told me I needed to go to customer service. Well if you have a vest on (which they all do on the floor), doesn't that make you entitled to provide customer service to customers whom shop there? Got to customer service and I pleasantly asked the lady who stood right outside the returns line for assistance. She continued to tell me I need to talk to someone at customer service and points those working behind the counter. It was extremely exhausting and annoying to learn that no one wanted to just simply help! Had to wait for this lady to finish loading all the returns in a cart before she attempted to make eye contact with me. She pretended to not hear or understand me, when I repeated myself several times. After waiting for about 10 mins for her to finish, she managed to gesture for me to follow her, and made every attempt to stop and pick up stray items along the way before making it to the aisle I needed assistance on. This store doesn't have the best reviews but I'll tell you who made my evening...the guys in the electronic department! Ronald helped me out to find a printer cartridge I was looking for. It was late probably close to closing time, I'm not sure but he came and checked me out then commented on the cake I was taking to the party from bakery! Thanks for all your help! read more

Bad service in automotive department had me waiting 15 minutes after telling me they would do an oil change just to come back and say they were closed. Had employee ignore me multiple times he purposely did that. Could have just told me no at the beginning instead of saying yes and waiting for the time to run out. read more

This store is the worst. I just bought haircolor kit, it appeared closed box somewhat bent box just like all other boxes on shelf. I got it home, when I opened to use and 3 of the 7 items in kit were missing, I can't use it now!! Besides the most rude employees of any Walmart, workers in isle pretending to not notice someone looking for help, and now items on shelves are undependable to be complete. I was charged a little over a $100 for an order that I did not complete. It's some sort of a systems issue. I normally do very well with this brand, but there is a SNAFU this evening and it's impacting many customers. You have to call in to get a refund. There should never have been a charge to begin with. Because the system shows the cart as having a list of items, but not having completed the shopping. ( I was still up working on the weekly grocery shop.) Just take note if you get a text about an unexpectected charge. read more

This is one of the worst Walmarts (#703) that I have every had the misfortune of getting goods from! Not only was my online order rerouted to this store (several miles further from home) instead of my preferred store, one of my items was left out and I was still charged for it. I thought, okay mistakes happen, and I gave them a call to see about a refund. I was left to listen to it ringing for more than 5 minutes, and then I was hung-up on. Then when I called corporate customer service I could barely understand the person on the other end. I finally got my refund, but my complaint about waiting for someone to answer the phone wouldn't have been answered if I hadn't mentioned it again, and I wouldn't have had the privilege of listening to the excuses of why my call hadn't been answered. I have had multiple issues with curbside orders and only half the time have been able to speak to someone at that Walmart. My items that I have received through curbside have been damaged along with items with missing quantities inside the packaged boxes. Don't bother trying to call because no one answers and if they do they can't help you and say call the 1800 number for help. read more

Rude workers, their are no bar-codes so you don't know what the price is on anything and the usual their only two open registers and only self checkout is open but people like to scan whole baskets of food...this walmart just needs to shut down at this point or just hire better people... read more

These guys lied to me! I came in to buy a new phone to replace my previous one which had died. I asked if they had any phones that were NOT one use disposable and that I could just slip my SIM card into and use. They showed pointed me to their phones, and I picked one, asking again, "Am I able to just put my SIM card in here and use it normally?" They said yes, I buy the phone, get home, put the SIM card in, but guess what? It doesn't work! My father comes over to see and tells me, that I was lied to, and that this phone wasn't one that I could just slip my SIM card into and use! So thanks a lot Wal-Mart staff, I was expecting very important calls this week and now I've probably missed them all! Edit: I bump up my review to three stars, although some of their staff screwed me over, their customer service dept, helped me flawlessly. read more

Jesse in the electronics department is awesome! Talk about customer service! I initially called the store (and spoke with Jesse) to ask for help regarding how Roku tvs work, how to mount it, etc. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. So I went there and asked for him. He was so great with helping me pick the perfect tv for my home.... Additionally, he went above and beyond to walk out to my car twice (once to measure/estimate if the tv would fit, then the 2nd time to help load everything in my car) - give that guy a promo! This is still my go to Walmart only when I can't find what I need at HEB. Lately the prices that ring up at the register don't match the price on the shelf. The prices range anywhere from 10 cents to over a dollar more than advertised which is illegal. When I told an employee they said the manger was aware and working on it. I guess everyone needs to start taking pictures of everything they buy to prove when it's wrong and make the store fix it every time it happens. Or better yet, shop somewhere else. read more

We usually frequent this Walmart to avoid the crowds at the one further down on Spring Cypress. Brace yourself folks, there are some weirdies that like to frequent this Walmart- for sure. LOL The store is older, but looks like they TRIED to renovate it a little. The employees are nice with a few exceptions. Avoid the older cashiers, they're coupon Nazis! I'm laughing at any of you that walked into a walmart anywhere and expected stellar service, or a parade on your behalf for finding that item that you needed. Things I don't like about this one I usually don't like about all of them, so i assume that it has something to do with being a walmart vs an anything else on the planet. Things that make this walmart better than your walmart down the road 1) they are super easy going about letting you park your rv here. I know some locations can't help it because of city ordinances etc, but this one always has overnight guests and it is easy to do. 2) the guy in the paint/tools area and the girl that runs the counter at the car area knows where everything in those departs are and will walk you to it instead of giving you pointed directions that you may or may not understand. There is also a guy in the deli that will help you with anything in the bakery or deli. 3) ice cream is close to the door. this may not matter to your family and push the other things that you like (like milk) farther from the door, but it matters to me. 4) they are just now really starting to offer organic options and at reasonable prices. No this isn't whole foods, you won't find coconut heavy cream or anything like that. I usually still can't get organic tomatoes most of the time. I am saying that I found an organic pasta for under 2 dollars a box that is GREAT and whole wheat and as much as I NEVER would have switched to whole wheat pasta before this one found all those things that I hated about whole wheat pasta and got rid of them only leaving you with really good organic pasta. 5) The toy selection is huge and not everything is really locked down so if you want to see if your kid fits on the bike or if you need to wait until next year you can just do that without calling an employee. If those skates say they have a wide range of sizes and you want to see if your kid is actually in that range you can try them on. Ok, maybe you shouldn't, but I spend a lot of item here during the summer when it's hot and it's nice to know what is actually reasonable for my growing child. a few of the staff will even play along for a very short time. I have yet to be asked to leave. Things that you should NOT get at this Walmart Car service of any kind. My husband got his tire changed here because they have great deals, but they failed to put the new tire on properly and we lost a few bolts and could have actually had a very major accident. We were being watched by angels because my husband thought the car was running funny and saw that he was missing tire bolts. Garden advice. You can buy plants, if you know exactly what you want and go in and get it and come out. the garden people are nice, but will sell you anything at any time, and don't care if it's pesticide that is killing bees and hurting the environment or plants that will just die in a month because it is the wrong season for that. My advice to new gardeners is to go to the tomball farmers market and talk to them. Most of them will schedule time with you and show you their personal garden and let you see how to do it. They will sell you seeds and sprouts they started, but only during the times for those things. If you are not new to gardening, then maybe you can pick up the one or two things you need, but you probably know a better place to do it. Order a birthday cake. I used to work at a grocery store bakery. I had a good time, not every second of the day, but it involved a lot of cleaning because I was on the night shift and I am not the biggest fan of cleaning. I wish someone on this team was though. They have had this red flower cake that someone didn't come pick up for over a month sitting on the display. They don't wash the floors down nightly and the counters always have frosting on them. maybe I'm more picky because I worked for one, and I know what to look for, but seriously go to a bakery or make a cake yourself, anything but ordering it here. read more

What happened to all the cashiers? They never seem to have enough registers open, especially on Sundays. It's like they want everyone to use self-checkout, which is an inconvenience, especially if you're buying cough medicine and have to wait for an employee to walk by and confirm that you're 18+ before you can complete your purchase. I still give Walmart 3 stars for their low prices and wide assortment of items. I just don't want my groceries to spoil while I'm waiting in line. read more

If you're needing tires on the fly, don't stop here. Hubby was driving our daughter's car to find that front tire threads were exposed. It was almost 6 p.m. and local tire shops had closed early, so I called them to find out if they had the tires needed in stock. They first tried to sell almost $100 tires and when asked for lower cost tires, said they had 8 of the tires needed in stock. Told them he would be there, shortly. Hubby arrives with tire losing air and goes in to tell them he's there. He is made to stand in line while the cashier talks and is waiting for some paperwork for 2 others who's cars were near being ready. Get that, NEAR being ready. He waited 20 minutes while cashier wouldn't move on to next customer, because the other customer who was standing at the register was awaiting their car to be finished. All the while, the guy waiting to work on our tires was constantly coming back in to badger my husband because the tire was going flat so he wanted us to change the spare and then he'd drive it the 10 feet into the garage :-P Finally, he's waited on and reminds them of the tires we had told them to have ready at $40 each. They said they'd have to check inventory, but didn't think they had them and he'd have to take the $100 tires. When he refused, they located the 8 - $40 tires and said they'd install them. Then, the cashier says that she didn't think they could put new tires on a car that had a flat tire (huh?). She proceeds to go talk to the manager then comes back and says, I guess it's okay. Don't know what I was thinking (or smoking, maybe?). When they eventually finished the car and my husband waits for another 25 minutes to check out, he pays the bill without looking at the invoice. When he gets home he finds they had installed a higher priced tire at $80 each and charged for them. We assume even Walmart employees now make a commission on tire sales, so be sure you check your receipt, that they do what you wanted without adding upcharges for other unapproved services and that they get all the lug nuts on tightly. Better yet? Go somewhere else! read more

my wife bought an item on clearance for our son. the package was in good condition as if new. when she left the store my son opened the package and it was missing half the pieces. There was NO indication on the box that it was missing pieces. As I attempted to return the item, the customer service person said "these 3 numbers at the beginning of the barcalde means it's broken or missing pieces." How am I or any other non-employee supposed to know that? then they said the computer wouldn't allow the return. 1: selling broken or incomplete items is just stupid. 2. If you are going to do it, mark it properly. 3. if you don't and the person wants a return because they didn't know it was broken/missing pieces, you should allow it. This kind of garbage service is why I hate shopping at Walmart. Service has plummeted in the last few years especially and no one in management or corporate seems to care. read more

Horrible!!!! I am so angry this store has unprofessional service! We stopped for a few items and bought a little more. 1)Well since we got there the store was not welcoming she sat there on the seat and said nothing! 2) We where looking for a VR headset, well an employee came around to "check us out" I ignored it! 3) I went to get a mop -same thing happened again 4) My daughter went to look for makeup and she was amazed how all the make up was locked up. It began to make sense. Once again they check us out again when we where looking for traveling toiletries 5) As my daughter was paying for 6 make up related products the self checkout attendant was checking every move she made. I guess to make sure she didn't steal anything-ridiculous!!! 6) We paid also at the self check out but guess what? They don't have LARGE BAGS to put the mop we bought! So as we were leaving a customer in front of us passed through the doors w no issues. But NO, NOT US!!!!, we were stopped and asked for our receipt!!!!! While 2 other customers passed by right next to us and the other customers service attendant was looking and didn't stopped them! When my husband asked why she's just checking our bags she said, because our mop was not in a bag" so my husband said, "Walmart doesn't have a large bag to put a mop like this." This was just RACIAL PROFILING!!!!!!!!!! You have horrible service, store is dirty looking, food area smells bad-we didn't/couldn't buy food there!, service is horrible, and on top Walmart employees are trained horrible by thinking that only a certain race steals!!!! If I could give this store a negative review I would. I had to go through so many hoops to get them to honor the price match policy in store. It was a 15 dollar price difference between the amazon.com and the in store price. I had them bring 3 supposed managers to the check out line who said they don't price match anything but Walmart.com. This is in direct contradiction to what the online policy says. I then spoke to corporate about my issue they said that I would have to talk to the salary manager, when I asked for her in person they said she's not in today. I then called the store and they let me speak to her. I was told by her that I should haven't gone through all this. That she would have honored it because it was such a small amount, I thought to myself wow! This is the most unorganized corporation I've ever seen, but I guess what do I expect it's Walmart. Just avoid asking any person who works there anything about policy ever. They are uniformed, and mostly uneducated. read more

It is such a shame that this store says that it's express delivery, where the person 1st have to wait for 15 mins to see someone as a human inside and then they send you to the pickup orange line and make you wait another 45 mins and if you go talk to them and tell them the issue they will say that get into your car and Don't show us that attitude. So, if you keep sitting then it's fine and they have no problem but if you ask them for your own order to come faster as it's express delivery. They will get mad. Obviously it's Walmart so you can't even expect quick and efficient work from them. And, they say that again someone came out and said let me check that's all. So, if you guys have to order something then you will have to take out the entire day to sit here and wait for them to bring your order. I would suggest it's better not to order beforehand and buy it in the store in person. And, I never got my order, because I asked them which was for them me showing an attitude.
