Upon going to checkout all the self check lanes were closed for some reason & there was ONE checker. The 1 self check by the sodas/food had syrup and sticky brown goo all over it. Several employees were walking around, but no one was DOING anything. Two target employees were outside at a table talking to people coming in, not sure why. There was so much that needed to be done inside, seems so wasteful. Also the restroom was horrific and dirty. I've seen better gas station bathrooms. Such as shame.

I had to ask to fold them myself. I know Ross sells discounted items, but they are still new products that customers like me are paying for and should be placed in the bag neatly and with basic care. Every time we've made the effort to drive out -- often 30 minutes each way -- with our baby and our dog, we've been met with repeated refusals from employees to use the pet wash. The excuses vary each time: "It's under maintenance," "We're about to close," "Someone else is using it," or vague reasons that feel more like avoidance than valid operational concerns. On several occasions, we weren't even allowed to check the pet wash ourselves to verify the claims. It's extremely frustrating and frankly feels like the staff simply doesn't want to deal with customers using that service. As loyal customers who have chosen TSC for both pet supplies and convenience, it's incredibly disappointing to receive this kind of treatment -- not once, but multiple times, across different locations. The lack of accountability and consistency in customer service is unacceptable. I hope this review brings this issue to the attention of store management and the corporate team. The pet wash is one of the advertised features that brings people into your stores -- please ensure your employees are trained to either provide the service as promised or communicate honestly and respectfully with your customers.

I try to brighten peoples day and it just sucks when you send me out of your store in tears because you are heartless, have no etiquette or class, low bottom of the totem pole not professional. Walmart employees need etiquette? Or just Houston? I dealt with 2 other workers in Walmart at auto and beauty paying 3 separate transactions. I have a whole story about trying to be in auto too. We all have jobs, we should all be capable of being professional and kind in all circumstances. Otherwise you need to find a new job if you can't deal with people. I work too.
