Every time I get it, there is always something wrong with it. And make sure you check for mold on fruits/veggies because I always see something moldy there. The last time I went, I got a watermelon and it was disgusting. My son cut it open and asked if it was supposed to look like that. When he showed me, it had a foul smell and looked like it had been previously frozen ‍ I was too tired after work to go back and get my money back from their overpriced rotten watermelon, but I vouched never to go back there and waste my money. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They need a legitimate grocery store around here, not this poor excuse of a store. Gross

Sadly citizens of Magnolia have 2 choices when it comes to easy reach grocery. This i one of them. Like with Brookshire Bros up the road they are small and local so they really care and want to help. I haven't ever had a rude or unfriendly employee interaction ever. You don't get the cold blaze attitude one usually finds at Wallyworld Target Kroger Randalls..... They carry a lot of generic brands so their prices are reasonable. But since it is small don't expect enough food to feed a whole 3rd world country in this one building - it's enough to simply supply the community which is spectacular!!

I have read only bad reviews on the pharmacy location in the Brookshire Brothers Store in Magnolia…read more I figured it was because the only ones leaving reviews were customers who had a bad day and were inconvenienced. I know this because I read all the complaints. First I have ran in to availability problems on my drugs. Charles gave me pills to get me through 2 days until they could fill my 90 day supply. Small local pharmacies are not your big box stores that fill a thousand different patients a month so they of course do not have their stock on hand. But speaking to the Pharmacist will get you a loaner dose until they can get your complete prescription. I don't care if your a first responder or Joe Blow you both are just as Important. So using the Tri County Fire because your spouse is not getting his medication right this minute is a childish tantrum played out in Social Media. People if your mad because of something minor I promise reading your complaint a year later will make you think " why did I post that? ". Those who don't I have pity on. My rating is founded on respect and sincerity. No on will ever get a 5 star review from me because that's a star few get. A 4 star review is excellent because they meet my expectations. A 3 is good. That's most of mine.

My son rides his bike down there every morning and has met a person who is very nice to him. He dines there. Both have Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. The young man behind the counter is so friendly when I went in to say hello my son will be here every morning getting a Vitamin Water. It's a routine, he can't break.. Gas is a bit higher than the main road, but that would be expected...overall, decent corner store, believe it is Exxon.

The store manager, employees, and customer we're very friendly, and very helpful. There's not much that sits at this intersection or many stores for this community so this Dollar General is well.appreciate to be right outside of the subdivision.

And, going to build one about 2 miles from one in a lovely custom neighborhood which doesn't a restriction on that lot. Go figure. This isn't shopping at Wa*m**t, it's smaller and worse clientele. Tonight, oh wait, have I turned into one.. No, not really, because I complained every step of the way. There was a 12 yr old boy who so crude to his father, I would left the store. No, Dad bought him whatever he wanted. A future Magnolian punk. Each time I go, because an HEB takes 30 minutes to get to, there is another manager. Tonight, new checkout person was at the register and was a wonderful young man. Personable and polite. The store is always a mess. Kids open, eat and put item back on the shelf. Where are parents? It no wonder the place is messy and prices are so high. Loss of merchandise. I go when I really need something that can substitute and pay double the price. I can say at Christmas, they have cute glass containers for food items for gifts. You find aluminum trays, paper plates, napkins and tissues at reasonable prices. Candy is horrible expensive for Halloween, Valentine and Easter. Not worth it a non brand candy. Over all, if you need salt, toilet paper, living in the country this is what you get.
