This is my favorite Kroger, however, when shopping there tonight for a few things, I needed to use their restroom located between the entrance near the pharmacy. It was really nasty. They really need to clean in there. This was the Women's bathroom. I never had to use it before or in a while there anyway. I was shocked at how dirty the floors were. Do better Kroger! Would gave been 5 stars except for this! Staff and Management are super friendly though and store very organized. read more

What has happened to this Kroger store! Only 1 or 2 checkers working at any given time. Before 11:00 am only1/2 the self-checkouts are available. A lot of seniors shop this store & need assistance at checkout. Prices are good as far as supermarket chains go, but who wants to wait 10 mins. to checkout while your frozen items melt. HEB costs more, but when you get to the checkout, managers or supervisors are directing you to the shortest checkout lines. And much friendlier service at HEB. I have been a loyal Kroger shoppers since Randall's became part of the Safeway conglomerate, but just not able to any longer. Customer service has gone out the front door. read more

Before I even truly begin, let it be know that I come here for a few specific items. If you're looking for safety as you shop, though, don't put your foot in this store. Hands down, if you're on the hunt for frozen confections (ice cream, novelties), Kroger is the place to go. But hold your breath, wear your mask and get ready for a bumper-car adventure when you go here. Two stars for the wide variety of frozen novelties here. It's really the only reason I go into Kroger now, due to my disdain for "shopper's card" only discount on purchases. I've had a beef with that for a long time, but I can't deny that the variety of ice cream and frozen treats available here is second to none. Now for the logistics: aisles here are inherently more narrow than most other grocery stores. That always made it an adventure to not cart-crash with other shoppers during NORMAL shopping times. But due to the current conditions with COVID-19, I'm a bit more wary of getting elbow-to-elbow (or cart-to-cart) with other shoppers. Strike one. Now, throw in the fact that Kroger has this apparent marketing strategy of utilizing every square inch of retail space to market whatever item they happen to be pushing. Huge (temporary) displays block multiple locations in every aisle and every end-cap space. You can't walk 10 feet without having to navigate around one. Add to that the employees dragging the carts for the online orders, and you've got a real good game of pinball. Strike two. When you enter the store, the shopping carts are all lined up. There is absolutely no evidence of anyone regularly sanitizing them. In fact, as I entered the store, one of the employees was returning from the parking lot with a load of carts: no mask on as he was entering, but he quickly decided to put one on when I gave him the "hairy eyeball" meaning: WTF, bud? Pretty much: in-the-corner strike three. I honestly wonder if Kroger is more concerned about sales rather than safety. Surely no organization would subject their customers to more cramped conditions during the current health crisis. I'm thinking I need to see if it's better at another neighboring Kroger. As far as I'm concerned with this particular store: KROGER - you're out! read more

Krogger is close to wear I live, we shop the Cornelius one every Friday eve. However they are always out of the regular items we buy and change brands that aren't as good as the previous one. We started shopping at the TV highway one and it's a little better but still frustrating. They seem to have stopped thier 4x fule points to save on the high prices of gas. I think we are going g to rethink where we shop and start going to Safeway. Do better Krogger, Bring back Fred Myer values! Frustrated shopper. read more

I have been coming here for about 8 years. I stop in about once every two weeks. Great produce selection. Very good hot and cold deli. Bakery is amazing. They have tables and table of sweets. Good organic section as well. Really good meat department. I really like their bakery. I went to Raos bakery and nothing really grabbed my eye so I said let me stop by Kroger really quick. Picked up a colossal German chocolate cupcake for 3.00 and a pint of bluebell vanilla for a grand total of 5.49 same price one piece of cake would have cost at raos. read more

Coming here after the Harvey renovations I am in love with this Kroger once again. It is so organized, clean (minus the family restroom) and easy to navigate through the aisles. All their produce is fresh and some of the best in my opinion. They have such a wide variation of gluten, vegan, and processed items too to fit everyone's diet and budget. Their meat department is my fave, I can hand pick my own steaks when I am in the mood to grill. The staff is nice, but then again every Kroger in the area has nice staff and cashiers compared to "other" chains. I do wish they had a gas station but hey at least it's close to home and next to my kids soccer fields, perfect when I need to make a quick stop after practice and wrap up a meal. read more

Of all the Kroger locations I've been to, this one is my favorite. With recent remodels, this location, as well as the one on Champions Forest/Cypresswood are very similar. This one, however, is located in a nicer shopping center, as well as seems like it's more spread out overall (parking lot, store interior, etc.) I've found a lot of great deals shopping the aisles here. This store never seems crowded, and is clean every time I go. read more

Appalled. Mortified. Disgusted. Not a fan at all. I'm running out of words to describe the experience at this store. I've been here before and should've known better based on my previous experiences, but I digress. I needed to make a quick stop for some milk and bread for my kids and this location was on the path I was on... I'm not sure if it's just me, but playing bumper cars with other patrons is an understatement! I swear folks have zero regard these days... especially the staff! After grabbing the few things I came for and heading to self-checkout (which I despise by the way), my experience with the glitchy AI and the complacent and rude cashier takes the cake. If you've been to Kroger - or any store for that matter - then you know their machines don't like you to touch anything in the bagging area until the transaction is 1000% complete. The cashier on duty was not at all interested in assisting, but more interested in assuming I placed my handbag on the scale (cue eye roll) and in checking what I'd already scanned - I kid you not - at least 10 times before begrudgingly moving on and allowing me to finish paying for my merchandise. Mind you there's cameras EVERYWHERE, including above the self-checkout register itself, so her attitude towards me and all but directly accusing me of stealing something was completely distasteful and unnecessary considering she watched me the entire time. Between her behavior and the extremely unprofessional manager on duty (literally disgusting behavior for a manager, or anyone for that matter), this place needs a major staff overhaul. I hope their corporate offices take notice (in addition to actually reading my report) to the common sentiment here and address the staff issues. So I hurry back to Kroger's and the basket was gone. Fortunately, David Adebayo was there to save the day! He was very busy helping others and helping me at the same time. I very seldom come into this particular Kroger store but, I had to pass it on my way home and decided to stop for a few groceries. On my way to the check-out line this white lady comes straight for my 1 year old grandbaby and attempts to grab her hair, saying something about touching hair like that! My grandbaby leaned away from her and slapped at her hand which prevented her from grabbing her hair. Not cool at all and if she had put her hands on my granddaughter I would have ended up in jail! They have much more than my neighborhood Krogers on Veterans Memorial. Much more nicer and fresher produce. Prices maybe slightly higher on some items. They have a Starbucks inside too! The shopping center has a variety of shops! This store layout is awsome and flows nicely. It was very pleasurable shopping here. One thing I really like about this location is that there are products in the refrigerated deli section not found at other locations, i love the curry coconut soup! The people who work here are occasionally friendly (I mean management is friendly)... sometimes the self checkout guy seems like he's extra suspicious of me, not a lot of non-white people in this area. AND today the morning cashier even asked me if I was with Insta-Cart assuming bc of my color and the amount of money I was spending that I must be working SMH. The other day another cashier kept telling the next customer in line to stand back way back even though we were standing on the designated stickers for the next customer. ANYWAYS I do suggest checking expiration dates as my husband has accidently brought home expired products like lettuce. AND today I wanted to buy cottage cheese, but guess what, all the stocked cottage cheese was expired! They do a terrible job of restocking and in fact most days the isles are difficult to traverse as the stock people rudely consume the whole isles. You must look to items in the back at this Kroger to get the latest expiry dates. I will still come here because the other Kroger on Louetta we call it the ghetto kroger so even with all the unpleasantries here it is the better of the options I have aside from HEB, Sprouts, or Whole Foods. read more

I bought a home chef meal the expiration date was in 5 days so I bought it took it home to cook the same night and the broccoli was brown and slimy I really wanted it so I was going to trim off the bad spots but it was the entire thing. 100% of the time their milk expires 4-5 days before the expire date. Every time I try to go back to Kroger I'm so disappointed. And I don't really understand bc I can't be the only one experiencing these things. read more

I went shopping for regular items on a normal day. I went to cold cuts area wanting to get some freshly cuts for sandwiches. I had to wait since the lady behind the station was inside doing whatever. An elderly lady greeted me and told me the other lady will be right there. She finally came out but with a look that told me she didn't want to be there. I said hi and ask for a pound of pastrami and ham. She quickly replied that there's no such thing. Well, duhhhh!!! NOT THOSE TWO TOGETHER! (Thanks for making me feel stupid) Then, I repeated what I asked: each a pound of pastrami AND ham. I specifically asked for sweet ham if it's not honey then maple. She got the ham cut and wrapped (I apparently got maple). She then fumbled with the rest of the ham and inside her meat drawer. Just in case she's not entirely 'there' at work, I then re-asked her to get me a pound of pastrami (read the above, made me unsure about her!). She then snapped at me saying that she couldn't locate the pastrami. She was mumbling about where's the pastrami and who put it last time, bla bla...At this point, I gave up of being nice and just waited till she's done with her 'drama' She cut and wrapped it and then I just grabbed and took off with short thanks. I went to HEB for the rest of my list since she put me off with her bad mood and made me feel unwelcome. It felt like I made troubles by going to Kroger for my shopping. read more

September 11th 3 o'clock p.m. checkout aisle 14... The cashier and the bagger are having a detailed conversation and ignored the man in front of us to the point of him not getting a receipt... They also ignored us during the conversation to let us know our transaction was approved... The person in charge of the self-checkout was sitting on a display of sodas typing away at his handheld device... This is the most impersonal experience I've ever had at Kroger in 15 years... If your website for hiring was a bit more Interactive and less a giant email Loop you might be able to retain decent employees and retain your customers... I will be going to Aldi to stand in a line of 20 some-odd people and save more money and get treated like a customer and not like an inconvenience of a conversation read more

I love this Krogers! The store is always immaculate. The shelves are always well stocked. The staff is friendly. The check out is normally pretty fast. I also love how they checkout your purchases straight from the basket. You do not have to take your stuff out of the basket and put it on the belt which is less work for me. I refuse to go to Kroger ever again. This place was absolutely disgusting: dirty store, items thrown everywhere, shopping carts that don't function, and only two open checkout lanes. But what really pissed me off was the customer service, or should I say lack of. Since I rarely go to Kroger in the first place, I was unaware that they switched to digital coupons that you have to access through their app. Ok, not a big deal, just a slight inconvenience. Well, I'm in my twenties (meaning I'm technology savvy), and I couldn't figure out how the damn thing worked. So I thought I'd finish my shopping and then ask the cashier for help. When I went to checkout, the cashier scanned my Kroger card and groceries, and then I asked her how to apply the digital coupons to my purchase. She proceeded to sass me that I should have scanned the coupons at the beginning. First of all, WHO TF SCANS COUPONS AT THE BEGINNING OF A PURCHASE? This is a genuine question I have... Second of all, this is the first time I've been to Kroger in years, so how was I supposed to know? Awful experience that ruined my day. Take my advice and stick to HEB. read more

I will never shop at this store again. On December 11, 2018, I purchased two gift cards, birthday card and an anniversary card. A 50.00 Visa gift card and a 25.00 Amazon gift card. When I went to open the bag only the birthday and anniversary card was in the bag. The bag had not been touch or moved since it was brought into the house. It was still wrapped the same way the cashier put it in the bag. There is no way it could have falling out of the bag. A call to the store manager resulting in a call back stating that his camera show the cashier putting the gift cards with the other cards in the same bag. I only know that the gift cards are not in the bag. I am now out of 75 plus dollars. I will not shop at Kroger again. I will encourage my family and friends to not shop at Kroger. I do not believe for one second that the cards were placed in the bag. I have bought gifts cards from Kroger before and they have always been given to me to put in my purse.
