On top of that the customer service was top tier. The staff was friendly welcoming and attentive which made the experience even better. I ordered the Houston Street Tacos and they were amazing. Two large organic tacos filled with jackfruit and quinoa that were perfectly seasoned and very satisfying. They were topped with avocado tomato marinated cabbage and a house turmeric queso that brought everything together so well. The side of kreamy kale sauce was a standout too and I found myself dipping every bite into it. To drink I had the Organic Mango Hibiskus Lemonade made with house brewed hibiscus and pure organic mango. It was refreshing not too sweet and tasted incredibly fresh easily one of the best lemonades I have had. My friend ordered the Orange Buffalo Tahini Cauliflower and it was packed with flavor. The cauliflower was roasted just right tossed in a bold orange buffalo sauce drizzled with tahini and topped with roasted cashews and sesame seeds over seasoned jasmine rice. She also had the Catalina Rolls which were crispy hearty and filled with fresh cabbage herbs and house taco meat and they were so good. She also tried the Heal All of the Rainforest Pau D'Arco Latte which was warm earthy and comforting. It is made with Peruvian Pau D'Arco heirloom cacao ashwagandha catuaba bark cinnamon maple syrup and almond milk and it truly felt like wellness in a cup. Everything we tried was flavorful filling and never felt heavy. Whether you are vegan plant based or just love good food Callie's Kitchen is absolutely worth a visit. I will definitely be back.

I was craving some Kirby cucumbers since the ones that they sell at HEB, Kroger's, and Aldi's taste too bitter for the darker outer skin. I searched on Facebook Marketplace to see if any local gardeners was selling Kirby cucumbers from their summer harvest. I had no luck. Then, I remembered when I lived in Clear Lake, we always had Frobergs that my mum liked shopping at for fresh farm produce. Since I moved and live north. I knew I wasn't going to be driving an hour and more to Frobergs. I did a quick search on All Things Woodlands page to find Atkinson Farms in Spring. I had hoped to find something closer like in Conroe or Willis, nope. Luckily, Atkinson is open on a Sunday. The drive was long, but when I arrived I was happy to find an air conditioned mini country store. Low and behold, there was piles of Kirby cucumbers. I bought a lot. I also got some carrots and other produce. They had pickling cucumbers too. They sell jelly, jams, and pickled vegetables. The cashier said less and was pleasant to deal with. The store is clean and very organized. Everything that I got was extremely affordable at $12. They accept cash and card. Parking is out in front of a vineyard. I met a man and his sweet dog out front. When I got back home. I washed the cucumbers cut them up. Omg, they were so delicious, crisp crunch, slightly sweet, juicy, and amazing taste. I miss growing Kirby's. I can't wait to return for more!

Why 5 stars? Because this was a fun family outing…read more --- --- --- I drove by Atkinson Farm a year or two ago and always had it in the back of mind as a place to visit, ever since. Recently, we saw them share on Facebook that they had some strawberries ready for picking and we basically hopped out of bed and headed over there. You pay $3 per person and $2 per bucket to enter. My wife waited in life while I took our son to play on the playground, which he really enjoyed. Once she was done, we headed back to the strawberries. There were several areas you could choose from, and it was pretty obvious which areas had been picked over already and which hadn't. Some sections would only have a few decent strawberries, while others were full of only the biggest and brightest. We nearly filled up two buckets and it was only $24. Sure, we had to pick them and wash them, but we had enough strawberries to last us an eternity. And they were pretty tasty too. The market where you pay for the berries after also had other various produce items and meats. I added on a jar of pickles on top of the strawberry haul. We will probably have to make this an annual tradition!
