Do yourself a favor and try the Crème Brûlée cookie... it's next-level. The texture, the sweetness, that caramelized flavor--absolute perfection. 1 out of 5 -- Disappointing Experience Despite Keto Excitement…read more As someone on keto, I was genuinely excited to try Half Baked's keto cookie options -- it's hard enough finding good keto-friendly sweets, and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly from the moment I walked in. When I entered, there was no one at the front counter, so I waited a few seconds and looked around. Eventually, a lady came out from the back. I politely asked if they were open since it seemed empty, and she replied, "Is the door open?" -- in a snippy, sarcastic tone. Not the warmest start. As I tried to place my order, she cut me off mid-sentence and said, "All the prices are on the board." I'm not sure if she thought I was questioning prices or couldn't afford it, but it came off rude and dismissive. I decided to just order and leave at that point. The first two cookies I asked for were unavailable because they were out of the keto icing, so I told her to just give me any four keto cookies that were available. I asked about the keto bazookie, and she said it had to be ordered 15 minutes in advance -- fair enough. I decided to skip it and left with my cookies. Now, for the food review: * Chocolate Chip (Keto): 8/10 - Easily the best one. Soft, rich, and satisfying for a keto treat. I'd recommend this one. * Peanut Butter (Keto): 3/10 - Way too much peanut butter; I had to chase it down with water. * Sugar Cookie (Keto): 2/10 - Overly sweet and tasted like it was rolled in stevia or another artificial sweetener. * Double Chocolate Chip (Keto): 7/10 - Pretty good flavor and texture, no complaints. * Crème Brûlée (Keto) - Couldn't really judge since it was missing the icing/topping. My friend ordered from the regular (non-keto) menu and had mixed feelings: * Walnut Chocolate Chip: 10/10 - He said it was one of the best cookies he's ever had. * Double Chocolate Chip: 1/10 - Too sweet, he took one bite and tossed it. Overall, I'd rate the customer service a 1/10 and the overall visit a 1/5. I really wanted to like this place, and the cookies themselves had potential -- especially for keto options -- but the rude and dismissive service ruined the experience. I hope this was just an off day for the employee and not something deeper, involving race but either way, the attitude left a bad impression. It's a shame, because I would've loved to come back to try the keto bazookie and the cookies that were missing icing.

The coffee has been consistently great. The first time I visited, I tried the iced chai. As an Indian, I'm pretty particular about chai since I usually make my own at home. It definitely had a nice kick of spice, but I realized iced chai just isn't for me. That's completely a personal preference, though. On my most recent visit, I ordered a vanilla latte, and it was excellent. The food is just as good as the drinks. I've had the pesto turkey sandwich and their breakfast sandwich, both served on their incredible homemade sourdough bread. The sourdough alone is worth coming back for. Service is also so good! Overall, Mama Bread has delicious coffee, great food, and an amazing atmosphere. It's a gorgeous place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

Why 5 stars? Because these treats really hit the spot…read more --- --- --- We stopped in here after lunch and were not disappointed. We ordered three things and absolutely loved two of them. Salted Chocolate Cookie: We'll start with the thing that we only "liked". I was hoping warming it up when we got home would catapult it into the "loved" category, but I'll stick with 4-stars here. It was more of a crispy cookie, than a soft one. Also, salted caramel instead of salted chocolate could have put it over the top for me, but this was still an enjoyable cookie. Coconut Cake: 5-stars. As good as it gets. High quality everything. Bravo. Honey Spice cake: 5-stars. I probably wouldn't have ordered this myself, but the wife was intrigued and she was absolutely correct in this decision. It kind of tasted like a cross between carrot cake and gingerbread cake, and it was a delight. I had not seen this bakery before, so I'm not sure if it's new or if it's just a small place that hadn't caught my eye prior to today. But Buttercup Bakery, you now have my attention!

Naturally, this meant it was a drive thru kind of day. As a bonus, I scored a chocolate chip cookie because whoever said chocolate chip cookies aren't for breakfast, lied. Like before, the customer service couldn't be better. The delicious treats were an added bonus. Everything was fresh, but the ooey gooey cinnamon roll (warmed by Britt's) took the cake. The extra cinnamon butter results in a soft, gooey, buttery treat. Zero crunchy edges, zero pieces of unfrosted roll, just a full roll of cinnamon, butter, bread and frosting that somehow avoids both over crisping and sogginess to create the perfect pillowy, luscious bites! If you have a cinnamon roll lover in your life, gift them this cinnamon roll!

Everything we tried tasted like it had been made that morning, and you could tell there was real attention to quality. The croissants were incredibly flaky with those beautiful buttery layers that practically melted apart. The cookie croissant was easily the star of the visit--warm, gooey, packed with cookie butter, and just enough chocolate to keep it from being overly sweet. The cinnamon roll was soft, rich, and generously frosted without becoming overwhelming. The s'mores cookie was perfectly crisp around the edges, soft in the center, and topped with toasted marshmallow and Hershey chocolate that made it feel nostalgic without being gimmicky. We also grabbed a carrot cake cupcake that was light, moist, and beautifully decorated, plus a few iced coffees and a refreshing fruit tea that paired perfectly with all the pastries. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was bright, clean, and welcoming. It was the kind of place where you can sit with friends over coffee or grab a box of pastries to take home (which you'll probably wish you'd done after the first bite). We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in--just don't expect to leave with only one pastry.

We split the breakfast sandwich panini and one of their giant cinnamon rolls. The rosemary potatoes were perfectly seasoned with an incredibly velvety texture, and dipping them into their signature Victory Sauce was absolute perfection. The breakfast sandwich was outstanding, with thick, meaty, flavorful bacon on a buttery croissant that tasted like it had just come out of the oven. We paired everything with a caramel hazelnut iced coffee that was perfectly balanced, and the cinnamon roll had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. What really stood out was the quality. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference. On our way out, we could not resist taking home two pies and the cutest strawberry Pop-Tart covered in patriotic sprinkles. They looked almost too pretty to eat. The food alone would have earned five stars, but the hospitality made the experience unforgettable. The owner was incredibly genuine and treated every customer like a VIP.
