Don't understand the bad reviews. Not every donut place will have every selection you can imagine - don't give a bad review because of this. The staff is very friendly and the donuts are always fresh. They also have a good selection of kolaches including boudin and Chappell Hill sausage and breakfast croissant sandwiches (smoked brisket, ham, bacon with egg and cheese). Lots of customers early in the morning so most of the good selections will be gone if you're a late riser which is no different than what you'll experience from any other good donut place. Cold dry donuts at 08:00. Bummed. I thought the lady was heating up my Bavarian Filled Cream Bar when she grabbed it and ran into the kitchen. No. She cut my chocolate bar in half like a hot dog bun, pulled the Bavarian cream out of the refrigerator and squeezed some out into my cold hard dry donut. Still didn't warm it up. Bacon egg cheese tacos. Sausage and cheese kolaches. Omg this was the worst we have ever tasted!!! Actually inedible, not just disliked! My husband is former Army and can stomach just about any food, and even he couldn't eat his food. That's never happened at any shop we have purchased from! The ingredients were sub par and the flavor was just off. I didn't think it could be THAT bad and far off from every other shop we've ever been to. The amazing convenience of the shop is not worth the $25 breakfast we literally tossed in the garbage. The doughnuts were fine and the only edible part. Unfortunately, not knowing how the meal would go, only 2 people got 1 doughnut each so the rest of us just tried to consume the food as there was no time to stop for more. It ended up garbaged as we couldn't finish it. They were very nice people there! Service was great! The location is great! The food is absolutely awful. Please just start over with new ingredients - maybe higher quality ones??? read more

This is the closest donut place to my house, so you know it's the only one I'm actually going to drive to on a late morning. I must say, although their donuts are not spectacular. They are always SO nice there. Some of the best donut service I've ever had. The employees are really friendly, and somehow they always give me a free bag of donut holes. Their donuts aren't to die for, nor do the melt in your mouth like Shipley's or Crispy Creme but they do satisfy the craving. Besides their donuts, they have really delicious kolaches. They're huge too! I love the jalapeño and sausage kolache. Place is clean and they do have the normal selection of drinks (juice, milk, etc.) that most donut shops offer. read more

1) They have a BIG open banner hanging on their entrance, which is quite misleading. I took a detour to have some donuts only to find that the store was closed. The open sign is for "newly open" 2) Their timings are very odd. 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM. This part of the town is pretty dead until the morning hours. And the shop is closed when it could do business! 3) I tried their blueberry & glazed donuts. Both were HIGH on sugar and there was nothing special about them 4) They lack in vegetarian kolaches. 5) The second time I went in there, they had all stale stuff, and the store smelled AWFUL. I shall not recommend this place to anybody, nor will I myself give them a 3rd chance. read more

Worst donut I ever had it taste like dog shit and the service is so bad I stood in the store for at least 4 minutes before anyone even come out from the back and all my order were wrong because the guy couldn't hear me because this guy have a head phone in wild taking my order all in all experience is not fun and I don't recommend coming here for anyone else nor I will ever go there again read more

They have great donuts, kolaches and a ton of drinks. People don't understand that the owners get there at 3:00am sometimes and start baking! You know the donuts will be absolutely amazing! This place has been open for a couple of years, but I wonder if it changed ownership. I ordered several things to try--a croissant sandwich, a boudin sausage roll and a sausage kolache. I came in about 20 minutes before closing so it's kind of hard to judge it on freshness. But everything was decent and competently made. Service was fine too, they offered to warm up my purchase. Nitpick detail--no napkins included. Satisfies the craving if you are close by, probably not worth making a special trip for. read more

I don't think I've ever had worse doughnuts! I am reading the reviews of other Snowflake Doughnuts locations in the area, and they get high reviews. I don't know what happened with this one, but it is truly terrible. The above reviewer is correct that the shop does not smell good, the shop does not have an appetizing atmosphere, and to me, the doughnuts had an off taste. Maybe dirty oil? My boys usually devour all the doughnuts I bring home and beg for more. These got left on their plates. Believe me, that says a lot about the lack of quality of these things! Someone needs to open a good, clean and tasty bakery/doughnut shop in this vicinity! read more

Decided to try this place out on a Monday morning after noticing this place opened for several month. I was greeted once I've entered. I took a look at the glass display and notice that have Boudin Jalapeno Kolache. So I decide to get one kolache and some glazed doughnut holes. I tried the doughnut holes first and thought they taste like any other local doughnut place which was good. Then I took a bite of the Boudin Jalapeno Kolache. The kolache had a really good spicy flavor in it and the beard of the kolache had a really good buttery sweet taste I like. It was probably the best boudin kolache I ever had. I will definitely be back. read more
