This occurred June 7th, 2026. I was incredibly disappointed and concerned by the lack of food safety standards I witnessed here. While waiting, I watched a staff member prepping the kolaches at the work table, and his hygiene practices were completely unacceptable. He was actively using cheese as a makeshift prop to recline his cell phone so he could look at it while working. Cell phones are notoriously covered in germs, and to make matters worse, he was repeatedly touching his phone, and then handling the food without wearing any gloves. He was also talking directly over the open food without a mask or any barrier, and he was not wearing a hairnet. Cross-contamination like this is how people get sick. Watching someone handle raw dough, touch their personal phone, and rest electronics directly on the cheese used for customers' food is a massive red flag. I will be reporting this to the Montgomery County Health Services. This man probably takes his his phone to the restroom with him and then props it up against the cheese they serve their paying customers. SMH Also, the lady has been rude to me in the past. I was in my work (blue collar) uniform and she straight up laughed at me. Apparently women can't work in trades. Screw this place! read more

stopped today for a well deserved donut; it's been a hard Month, this Week! I love a good glazed donut with coconut, and they had a delicious one. I first thought the glaze might be more like frosting, since it seemed thicker, but it was more home made, and the flavor better, than the same donut at Ship***'s. Not only that, but this fresh donut had lots of tender coconut on top, and was only 75 cents. Good price, good quality, and nice customer service. Clean shop and a good variety of donuts, kolaches, and more. they do have a few tables, if you care to eat there, and some juices, drinks and coffee available, too. I will be back soon! read more

Great coffee and donuts! Food is on point and so is the service! Has a small business vibe but in a good way. Definitely worth a visit.

Can't go wrong with the donuts here and some decent kolaches. Really enjoyed the boudin kolache, although the jalapeño ones where not spicy enough imo and the ham/cheese reminded me of the old school Wendy's commercial "Where's the beef" in this case the ham. Though still a good friendly place to try out if you are in the neighborhood. read more

I am fairly new to the New Caney area and I have found my new go to donut shop! The service was fantastic, I had a large order and was given some complimentary donut holes to go with it! Everything was fresh and delish! I definitely recommend the blueberry cake donut and spinach egg croissant (everything was so good). read more

Unfortunately, I have to write a dreadful review. I have been coming to this location for the past year and a half. I am from Oakland California, and usually from where I am from, Asian donut shops are not necessarily respectful or appreciative of Black people and their money. I have encountered numerous of times when implicit bias was used against me based on their own ignorance. Once I found this donut shop at first, I did not experience that. Most recently, with a male associate, he was very rude, very disrespectful, very demanding. Unfortunately, I had to keep my large donut order because it was an event for my kids school but if it wasn't for my kids school, I would have not given these people $80 worth of donuts. just today, maybe the same male associate- the types of breakfast sandwiches he has. mind you I don't get breakfast sandwiches here I get donuts, so I wanted to know if he had muffins versus biscuits he replied" it's right there don't you see it"?. Sir no, I cannot see through paper. I'm not sure if they are muffins or biscuits or croissants. I can't see through paper maybe he can. I was very upset and the trauma from Asian donut shops came over me. So any black person that comes from California please know that if they racially profiled out there and disrespected because of your skin color they will do the same in the state of Texas. and apparently, Hispanics are racist towards Black people as well. Very much of a shocker. Instead of me, making a scene, I purchased the items went back into the vehicle and called and say hey, can I speak with the manager. A woman answered the phone and say what do you need to speak with him before he's not here. I stated I was just in there and I had a bad experience and I wanted to talk with a manager about this because I've been coming to you guys for a while. The lady then said oh and then she put me on hold I was on hold for two minutes and there was no one involved. There was no manager I can hear, clinking, and Noise background. So, although this is an establish business, you would no longer ever be receiving these black hard earned dollars and if all Black people would know that how much of the lack of respect that you have towards us, we will not ever furnish any of your businesses, donut shops, beauty, supplies, or anything else because you don't deserve it. Your business will suffer. Please excuse any typos. I'm typing this as I am emotionally distraught by this incident. read more
