I had a sweet tooth craving and decided to order a few items. I got a few chocolate chip cookies, a banana bread loaf, a 3 layer brownie, and a few random cupcakes. I wasn't too impressed with any of it. The cookies had to much of a cake consistency and didn't feel or taste like a chocolate chip cookie that you think of. The brownie was good, but a bit stale and you could definitely tell that it was not fresh. The bread was good, it was moist but it was lacking a little salt and more sugar. read more

I ordered a German Chocolate cake for a friends birthday from his favorite bakery in Chicago , mother nature had other plans so I had to find a cake at the last minute. No time to pick it up I turned to Ubereats and found my new favorite bakery. I ordered several different cupcakes including German Chocolate, all were available, fresh and delicious. However, my favorite part of the order was the pound cake. It was like that pound cake my grandmother used to make, soft, buttery, dense cake with that thick almost cookie like crust made to be eaten with a tall glass of cold milk. I happened upon this cute bakery going back and forth to the Post Office for work and decided to try it out. It's a bit tiny but very hospitable with tasty treats. Since I was on the company clock, my eyes and hungry belly chose a lemon bar, a brownie and I had to stop or I would have bought her out. My cupcakes were delicious, flavorful and moist. The presentation was also very appealing. I had the butter pecan and key lime cupcakes and they were so tasty. I also purchased a teacake and gooey bar and they were yummy also. The bakery is so cute too. We were greeted immediately and felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the shop. My coworker is a big German Chocolate connoisseur and she LOVED them. I am very pleased with my order and will definitely will be ordering again from her. Side note: Cynthia is the most amazing person. I called on Tuesday to place my order for pickup on Wednesday night. Later on Tuesday i called to see if there was anyway i could have them that same day. All my guests loved the cake and even asked where I got the cake. Not only did the cake look and taste AMAZING, customer service was excellent. The intern who is usually at the store was really sweet and asked about every detail. She made sure to ask what I wanted, she wrote down every emoji although I wanted 12 different ones for my cup cakes. I also purchased 12 red velvet cupcakes which the kids loved. My mom bought one dozen cookies and one dozen brownies for my birthday and spent over $30. Everyone at the party was dissatisfied and thought they were off and dry. Rather than immediately posting a negative review, my mom emailed Cynthia sharing our experience and asking if they can speak before she posted a review. Instead of Cynthia giving my mom a call and asking about the problem, she emailed my mom back stating everyone's taste pallets are different. After my mom left a google review (not realizing she was signed into my account) Cynthia replied hostile accusing my mom of threatening her and questioning why she was signed in on a different account. My mom also waited 30 minutes at the shop (even after being told her order would be ready) and she did not even mention that part. Extremely unprofessional and terrible customer service. We did like how each brownie and cookie were individually wrapped. There are great reviews for her cakes, and I'm sure those are delicious.
