It's a donut shop.. how much fresher do you want?.. unfortunately, I've got eight or nine donut shops between me and them

The man at the drive through was very friendly & offered my order up (donuts, kolache & latte) quickly. Donuts & Latte were tasty, but the small ham/cheese kolache was a disappointment. It WAS a small (they offer a large), but it was mostly bread with very little ham/cheese. This was my first visit, so I'm hoping it was an oversight. Sharing so the owner can check into quality control. Otherwise, yummy goodies at fair prices. read more

Stopped by to get 2 donuts before a quick road trip. Ample parking, and it is large inside and very clean. Good selection of breakfast sandwiches, donuts and coffees. The gentleman who helped me was welcoming and the price very reasonable. The donuts were fresh, and a nice texture; almost a bit like a traditional donut with more substance. Good quality ingredients and plenty of glaze. I would definitely stop by again. read more

When we arrived in Texas on vacation I noticed there were 4 (yes, four) donut shops within 1 mile of each other. Infact, 2 of them are next door to each other. So, out of curiosity I decided to check out each one by getting 1 yeast (or as they are called here, 1 glazed donut. After comparing all 4 places this is what I came up with................. Out of the 4 places I'm ranking this place #2, my second favorite. It's a small shop with a small parking lot and the lady that got or order was neither nice nor rude. Just straight to the point. Hands down, the best donuts in Porter. The donuts here are so light and airy, it's easy to eat an entire dozen on your own. Some people prefer the dense, dough-y donuts, but personally, I prefer the opposite which is what's offered at this shop. Very similar in texture to Krispy Kreme donuts, but the size of Dunkin donuts for sure! read more

We go here at least once a week. My wife loves the regular kolache and boudin kolache. My favorite is the bacon, egg and cheese croissant. It is always the same two worker which I believe they are the owners, they are always very kind and polite. Also it's always a quick service! Post-hurricane pricing: the posted price for a sausage kolache is $1.10, but this establishment has decided to ask $2.50 instead. The posted price for a dozen donuts is $6.00, but instead they are charging folks (Harvey emergency personnel even) $9 for a dozen. They claim that if we do not buy the donuts someone else will. This is my favorite shop for donuts and kolaches I've ever been to. The consistency of the dough is literally perfect, you can really tell they work hard to put out the highest quality of product. I would honestly give them more stars if I could, there is no reason for them to only have a couple stars on yelp. The people who work there are extremely nice and friendly and always make sure my food is properly wrapped, cooked ect. If they had t shirts i would advertise for them for free because of how amazing the food and service is. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. Definitely check them out. I came into your shop after our area was hit by flood waters from Harvey... I came into the shop to buy donuts that I was donating to first responders and to those at the shelter that had been displaced because of the storm. When my daughter and I walked in, I immediately noticed the crude cardboard sign that you had designed just for the storm prices. However your official signage hanging on the wall said a dozen glazed were 6.50. I asked the counter lady... How much for a dozen glazed... she tells me, $9.00. hmmm So my response... so you have jacked the prices up just for the storm? Her response... I'm sorry... my boss made me do it. SMH I later went back and even though the makeshift sign was gone, I actually went live on facebook and have the "manager" as she called herself telling me directly that the cardboard sign was indeed for storm prices and again that her boss made her do it. This is my personal experience with this company and I feel that each person needs to base their business with them according to your own personal standing... I do personally read reviews to make an informed decision often. I have done business with this shop in the past, but I will not ever buy anything else from them again because of my personal experience. ( I had just paid 6.99 per dozen from Pat's.. and later paid 6.50 from Happy Donuts in New Caney) A total of 15 dozen were bought that morning on my way to the shelter. read more
