Lol I have been going to this donut store recently because on the way to work and post gym, but what won me over and had me coming back was their delicious options. I never had boudin before or even know what it is, but I tried their boudin kolache o m goodness it's good. My two favorite things I always get there, their ECLAIRS and the SAUSAGE EGG CHEESE BISCUIT. The eclair's are fluffy and when I bite into it the custard filling is quite decadent. The sausage egg cheese biscuit is the bread winner for me, the way it's put together and the minor details they put into it, I had sausage eggs cheese biscuits before but there was always something missing. The something missing was layering flavor and seasoning. Donald's donut takes their time and even season their eggs with salt and pepper before putting it together. When it was served to me the warm fluffy biscuit, seasoned eggs, delicious sausage patty, and melted American cheese I'm in pure bliss. And I don't mind coming back for that! Used to come here all the time when I worked at the airport, now I try to stop by whenever I'm nearby. The donuts are so good, blue berry cake donut is probably my favorite. They also have boudin kolache! Everything taste super fresh and the service is always great even though it's so early in the morning. Wow what a superior donut shop, blows every other donut shop around the area out the park! Entrance - Very presentable, aesthetically pleasing to the eyes! Very bright and vivid colors. You could tell they really put some love in to the shop. Cleanliness - 10/10 everything is spot less looks like I could eat off the floors (I would never) peeping my head trying to see kitchen/ bakery and the shine from the machine automatically convinced me they clean them regularly. Hello Houstonians !! I decided to try DD this morning and I am highly disappointed. Customer service is the worst and I got sick after eating here. I was knocked out for the rest of the day . This place offers one of the best bacon, egg, and cheese croissants available in the area. The breakfast sandwich is always fresh tasting and includes real ingredients, real eggs not the runny fake carton eggs, and the croissants are always warm and fluffy. I can always count on consistently high-quality tasting pastries and doughnuts from Donald's. As an added bonus, they sometimes include extra doughnuts with my purchase. They always go the extra mile. I don't know how they do it, honestly. It is run by very inviting and friendly people who will go above and beyond to make sure that my doughnut/pastry cravings are met. Even when the item is not on the racks, they will take the time to make it fresh. I have been eating at this place for many years and have yet to have a bad experience. The place was very clean and the staff were fast & friendly! The prices are very good compared to Shipley's!
