The cutest donut place ever! While we were there customers were popping in on and off. It seemed they always had a customer or two. Customer service was awesome. The two women were so much fun, held good conversation and were very helpful! Why 5 stars? Because this is one of the best donut shops I've ever been to. --- --- --- The reason I know about Donut licious is a sad one. Our dog has cancer and we have been spending an inordinate amount of time at Blue Pearl, which is practically next door. On approximately my 13th visit to Blue Pearl, I happened to see Donut licious and decided to look up its reviews. It turned out, I most definitely needed to come by and see what all the hype was about. The hype is real. I love every bite of everything I ordered. I tried a couple of kolaches, one sausage and cheese, one ham and cheese: both were excellent. They come in most of a croissant bread than a traditional kolache roll, but the end product garners no complaints from me. I also ordered 6 donuts: plain glazed, oreo, reeces, nutella, cotton candy and taro. Again, everything was great. These donuts are maybe 10-15% smaller and aren't completely smothered in frosting, so it did help with the post donut hangover type of feeling I usually get in my old age. This is not your typical Houston donut shop, as they have some really interesting flavors here and they are clearly made with care. I drove all the way from Conroe to Donutlicious because my daughters wanted a "corny donut," also known as a unicorn donut. They've only had them once, but it's all they talked about, so I figured, why not? After a 40-minute drive, we arrived only to find they were out of unicorn donuts. It was a Saturday, so I understood, but my 4-year-old did not, and she was heartbroken. The owner (I think) offered to make some special unicorn donuts for her if we were willing to wait. This is the cutest donut shop ever!!! They have a great selection of donuts it literally took my 4 year old 5 minutes to choose. It was very clean and smelled nice. They have hand sanitizer available and have shields up at the counter. The strawberry poptart is AMAZING!!! I originally only cut one forth of a piece to try it because I was tempted by the name of the shop then ended up eating half and after finishing half, I decided to kill it. I ate the entire donut which is atypical because eating non-speciality donuts is rare. The donut just melted in my mouth when I took a bite. It was so airy. I couldn't believe it. We got the strawberry lemonade, root beer float, pistachio, lychee, raspberry pistachio, and taro. I love lychee and they really nailed the lychee flavor in the icing! The inside was closed, likely due to the virus, and the drive-thru had a full menu. Looking at the menu, I wanted to try pandan cake, but since it's only available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, I opted for a half dozen of red velvet, chocolate (glazed with a chocolate coat) and standard glazed. Went on a Sunday morning, got there about 8am, and i guess we walked in at just the right time because we were 2nd in line.... then several groups came in right after us, making a line almost to the door. The Samoan Caramel Delight and Maple Bacon were my favorites. Next favorite was a toss between the Fruity Pebble and the Chocolate Red Velvet. Husband loved all the same, and the Almond Joy.
