This year we decided to cater our Thanksgiving Diner from Pine Harvest Market. We purchase the Holiday Turkey Breast Dinner- Stuffed Turkey was very moist, well prepared and tastes great! Dressing inside the turkey was amazing. We order extra dressing and it was very dry and crumbly, very disappointing and not well like, Green bean Casserole was very good, rolls were average. Over we would rate them ok for a family gathering , biggest issue was ordered to pick up at 11am and received text would not be ready until 2pm which wasn't that big of a deal, got there at 2 and still was not ready. Sadly this store has gone downhill consistently for the past two years. Was there yesterday midday and the place was a ghost town. Nobody in the bakery/deli department. Several shelves were empty as were many of the refrigerators. The feel was it was either they're getting ready for a big remodel or they are going out of business/being sold. read more

The bounce employees checks and still expect them to work, with no pay. This problem fluctuates weekly. They used to have good inventory, but now it's just boxes of things, empty shelves, limited bakery items, and $100 for a cake! I don't recommend this place. A concert water is cheaper than at Harvest. Many prices are marked wrong on the shelves, bringing higher prices at register. read more

The Houston Hot Chicken Sandwich at the Sage Cafe inside Harvest Market Montgomery has a spicy Coleslaw!!! It was made fresh to order with French Fries the crispest ever!!! No idea how this store stays in business. I don't feel comfortable purchasing short shelf life foods from a store where I've been maybe 10 times and have seen a total of 2 other people inside in all 10 visits. They never have the items I come here for. I give up. It's just not worth coming here anymore. It's sad; the store does have potential but it's just not up to par. read more

A few weeks ago I decided this was going to be the first time I wasn't cooking a Thanksgiving meal. Enter Harvest Market and their flyer for holiday meals. First off, let me recommend that next year you take a more individual approach to your flyers. The flyers had two numbers one said Sienna and the other said Woodforest. Maybe I am the only one who got confused with this, but I assumed Sienna was a name and not a location in Missouri City. Which I found out today is close to an hour and a half from the Woodforest store. Today I went to pick up my order at the Woodforest location and found out very quickly they didn't have an order for me. It appeared that the order had been place at the Sienna location store. The young lady at customer service, who identified her self as the kitchen Manager, was quickly to turn the situation around. She spoke with who I assume was the store manager and she immediately got to work on finding an extra meal. Luckily, she had one available. I'm thankful for their planning and having extra meals available and for both of these ladies providing top notch customer service. Thank you both for saving our Thanksgiving! read more

Why 4 stars? Because the different components of this store vary greatly. --- --- --- When I first moved to Woodforest, I had high hopes that this would be my regular grocery store. One day I took my regular list here and realized that they carried less than half of the items, which was a bummer. But when I've visited the food court, I've been incredibly impressed. We've had burgers, pasta and pizza and all three were unbelievably great. To be honest, I'm kind of more excited to come back and try the other items from here more than I am to try most of the nearby restaurants, just because our experiences have gone so well to this point. As awesome as the burger and pizza have been, I think the pasta steals the show. It's shocking how much better the pasta is here than so many Italian restaurants that I've been to. I could eat it every week. While I understand that Harvest Market was never really built to replace Kroger, I do wish they had a grab-n-go section. Some ready-made meals that just need to be microwaved would be incredibly clutch. There are a couple of places in the area that do this, but they are a few miles away and probably not as capable of deliciousness like Harvest Market. We will continue to pop in here fairly often when we need something quickly or are craving that delicious pasta. If they add a grab-n-go section, all of my dreams will have come true. read more

There are some brands or foods you won't find there because it's a scaled down store. But you will find unexpected surprises. A great meat department, wine section, caviar, gourmet cheeses and a great deli. You can pick up perfumes, candles, freshly baked cakes, breads and cookies. A terrific assortment of fresh truffles and other delectables beckons the gourmand Friendly staff and an in store dining section with fresh foods made to order as well as great burgers and wines by the glass are available. A Cool and colorful market sorely needed in this isolated (for now) area!!! Doesn't get much better .... fresh, unique and healthy minded market that caters to every palate and dietary need! You will find a plethora of display cases showcasing meat, seafood, produce, floral, dairy and prepared items from savory to sweet. Isles are bright, large and thoughtfully designed and offer pretty much whatever you may need. The big plus is the made to order area (pasta, Salads, savory bowls burgers, ice cream ++ ). This gets even better as H.M. offers a spacious indoor dining area and the Pièce de résistance and bragging rights is one of the nicest (and covered) spacious outdoor dining areas! Bummer! When we first came here on opening weekend, everything was super nice, counters and displays full, and a great vibe. When we last visited, a few weeks ago, time and an apparent lack of business have taken their toll. Many of the shelves were sparse, the meat and fish displays held less than half of what they used to, and more than half the food court was shut down. There are lots of other little signs that the store is struggling. Like when you ask for a drink to go with your lunch they point to the drink dispenser for self-serve. But when you get there it's out of order, so they've put in a cooler next to it where you can get a bottle of water or a coke. One of the big draws for both of us was their gelato counter, with maybe 15-20 different flavors. This day they were down to four, and none of our favorites. Another dead giveaway is the smell of aging fish in the fish market. Good fish markets smell fresh, clean, and only vaguely of fish. This one now smells old and stale. When we checked out there were a total of two lanes open but not a customer in sight. The previous vibe of something new and exciting was completely missing, which is to be expected as a store settles into its day to day reality. Yes, it's a grocery store, among other things. The sign says 'Grocerant' it might as well say'Candy store for Denise Logue' . I tried to come back to this store sans husband because he doesn't appreciate what this business offers, but he insisted, not believing me when I told him I was going to 'window shop'. Of course by the time we had gotten to the prepared salads case, he was ready to go. Nope. He had fair warning, so I made him disappear while I picked out 4 different items. Chicken salad, quinoa, orzo salad, and a slice of bechamel chicken. Oh my. Did I mention that there was love music playing outside at their patio? Yes, this place offers more than overripe bananas. Trust me when I say I am abbreviating this review due to lack of time. I wanted to grab a beer and a burger before I continued my shopping, (yes, you can do that here) but due to it being Friday night and the live music, the food court was too busy. Yes, there are some cons, if you're looking. Selection is limited. They don't have 12 different varieties of apples. Need cream? You're probably not going to find Irish cream as a choice. I know because DH looked. But do you wish you could get alfalfa sprouts for your sandwich ? Then don't go looking at Kroger, alfalfa sprouts are almost nearly impossible to find. Harvest Market is a neighborhood grocery store on Woodforest Parkway North and Fish Creek Blvd in Montgomery, Texas. The company also has a small restaurant with pretty good seating. Woodforest Area Republicans club hold their monthly meetings at the restaurant. Last night they hosted the three candidates for Montgomery County Sheriff. The entire staff of Harvest Market helped rearrange the dining area so the candidates sat at a dais with rows of chairs in front of them. Behind that tables and chairs were added in such a way that everyone who wanted to dine could do so with the candidates in view! They worked diligently and the food service was equally applaudable. I hardly ever order a hamburger because I like my beef rare and no matter what the waiter may say, it comes cooked through. Not here. I got mine rare! YES! The food was DELICIOUS and very reasonable, including the wine! Extremely hospitable and gracious people. You won't find everything here that a large grocery store would carry but they are in the neighborhood for all those daily items you need, and I have even purchased items I can't find anywhere else. I went in this morning for a few things and was suprised by the selection. They seem to be working hard at providing more of the things you need on a daily bases with more selection. The shelves are full again things look good in the store. In the past i had trouble getting all my shopping done here but I don't think that will be a problem now. My wife wanted to explore the area and had this place bookmarked. It was a really hot day and we were getting top hungry to shop. We decided to grab some of the packed salads, wifey got the pasta salad, and I had the lobster salad. She also had a slice of the lemon blueberry cake, which was highly recommended, and I had a chocolate cake slice. We were pretty impressed with the food and their seating area looked pretty inviting and cozy. So definitely coming back to shop there next time. read more

I've been in multiple times on the weekend and the bakery has been bare even though they advertise selling baked goods. This past Saturday at 8:15am the bakery had ZERO donuts, kolaches or muffins ready. The bakery needs ALOT of help and management. It would also be nice if they carried some basic national brands items. For instance, one day we needed spanish rice. So I run up thinking they'll for sure have that. Nope. They carry no Spanish rice in the national brands and the only kind I could find was 1 odd boxed type off brand that cost 5X what the others do. read more

The store itself is limited in selection on some items but good enough. Hit or miss with the cashiers acting like they care if you're there, but that's ok. The problem is with the cafe. We've eaten there 4 times. The food is ok. Nothing special but good enough. Three of those times, the service has been ridiculous. I'm not sure why they are so slow when there's no crowd but they are. The reason they only get two stars (the cafe only gets a half star) is because the people they put taking the orders just have such a bad attitude. Three times, three different people, three times ignored or treated like a nuisance. Tonight, the young man (not the one with the beard) just acted like he didn't want to be there. We waited. No 'I'll be right with you'. Just a sour expression and no words. Finally just left. I think we're done, which is a shame since we're in the neighborhood. I live in the neighborhood so it is very convenient to shop there. Prices are higher then H‑E‑B but worth it for the convenience. Produce is very poor, but I don't think they sell enough. They really don't know their customers in the food court area. It's very disappointing and I cannot support that area of the business. Also, I bought food at the deli area and wanted to add a coke. They said I had to go to the cashier at the front. I told the cashier up front that I wanted to add a drink from food court and she said I had to pay at food court. Why can't I just pay for everything at one place. It's called customer service. I want this store to succeed but I think they will fail. read more

The New Harvest Market in Montgomery has the worse customer service ever! Employees are 17 years old kids with no interest on serve customers and make the extra mile. The vegetables and fruits area is small and basic, however the alcohol sector its very big, but they clamed to be a "natural market" ...mmmm... I dont think so. Went to work on the patio and use the Wifi. $2.20 for fountain drinks. No tea available. Was quiet until 12:45 when the manager requested 80's Rock music to be played loudly. Barely heard it inside but patio was too loud to make calls and he didn't turn it down after requested. Burger with side salad $11 and was good. Service was friendly and very kind. Only 2 working grill station at lunch so might have to wait on Thursday. Great area and is super clean inside. Bathroom location is good, not too far from front of restaurant area.
