Staff are fast ringing up items when the lines are more than a few customers and still remain professional and friendly. Their snacks, specifically candy and chips, selection is always enormous and they do a superb job of keeping a nice variety of drinks ranging from juice, sports drinks and beer & wine. Another big pro are the basic household items; toilet paper, milk, cleaners, body products, and more! It's always clean and feels safer than some similar establishments, maybe due to having a large parking lot and being well lit. Cashiers are always on the look out to keep us safe as well.

I continue in line to pay for the 59 cent fountain drink, string cheese and "perfect" bar I selected. Upon my turn she asked if my drink was a slurpee, to which i replied that it was a fountain drink. She said it looks like a slurpee. To which i removed the lid and showed she was once again completely unfounded in her accusations (let alone that I have been coming regularly for 3+ years and the management is well aware that I don't take things that don't belong to me). She continued with her abhorrent attitude, which unfortunately, along with her foul mouth, is her modus operandi (M/O), saying, and I quote verbatim, "Do me a favor and don't come in my store again tonight, I don't got patience for mother******s like you". At that point there were 3 people in line behind me who all witnessed this behavior. To owner, Bic: I sincerely hope you pull the video/audio of tonight's interaction as well as literally any night she has ever 'worked', and you will see just what kind of person you have willingly employed. Imagine my surprise when I walked into the San Diego food and home supplies just to discover that inside this unassuming market they have red ovens that churn out a plethora of breads and of course, my favorite fluffy pitas. My recommendation? Ignore everything else, take a few bags home, stick them in the freezer and warm one up whenever needed.
