I got fresh imports of Canadian salmon and Pacific Northwest oysters, and baked and steamed them to deliciousness. I love this grocery store. It's very clean, very nice layout and the location is nearby some other grocery stores so I can hit them all up for whatever I need. I love that I can grab a smoothie when I first come in. I put in my order and then I wander around. They have a dessert section prepared foods, salad bar, cheese section, and Meat/Fish section all on the left side of the store. As you continue to wander you'll start to see what they have to offer in the aisles while walking by the dairy to the produce section. I've gotta say my favorite section of the store is the meat section. They look like good quality beef and they also have premarinated options for those easy dinner nights. I haven't tried it yet but I've also seen the signs that they have caviar available. Also haven't tried it yet but I've seen people use their pre-order service and pick up catering from their prepared foods area. It seems pretty popular as I've seen someone doing this multiple times now. The prepared sushi always looks amazing as well - i will definitely plan on trying it one day. I just haven't gone hungry yet so I've been passing on that for now. I've signed up for the weekly ads and it's looking good so far! read more

Finally came here on a Friday night because Costco was closed. But I've been wanting to check this out and loved it! There's so much parking and not sure if it's the time we came but the store was so peaceful and mellow. Reminds me of sprouts but Whole Foods-something in between. Less chaotic (again maybe because it was a Friday night and ppl are not at the grocery stores??) Very spacious between the aisles, everything so near and organized. So many great brands I absolutely loved it. The seafood looked fresh. We got 24 oysters! 6 of each kind I feel it was cheap for under $2/piece! (They do not shuck them for you). Prices seem average if you compare between sprouts and Whole Foods. They have salad bar, soup section, and olive bar! Plenty of check out lanes but at the time we went two were open. We had no one and the staff were friendly. I would definitely come back. Loved it! read more

I stopped in here upon wanting to get a pressed juice from somewhere and it said they had a juice bar inside here after researching yelp, so I was sold. I will say the staff that work here aren't the nicest. Got some attitude and don't want to be bothered vibes. But The juice was good! Tasted all natural not sweet or very minimal sweetness. What an amazing little market grocery store! It reminds me of a sprouts world market north gate mash up. Super busy. Feels like a real market with tons of energy but a bit dingy. And restrooms need to be checked more frequently. We made a stop here on the way back to the hospital and grabbed coffee and lunch - yes the had great on the go options. I of course ordered sushi while mom got a tuna salad snack pack. Both were perfect. My Mexican chocolate late with oat milk was a bit off for me and mom's chai latte was too sweet. Aside from that can't wait to come back and explore. Reasonable priced snd you can buy in bulk. Looking forward to a return true shopping visit. read more

Stopped by with a friend after a run to buy some fruits but got distracted by the deli. Ended up buying a Reuben sandwich which was delicious! Christian, the gentlemen who helped us out, was very friendly and energetic. He said he would give us a sample of the salad but might've gotten distracted by something else so we never got the sample. However, he was very generous with the meat in the sandwich so it made up for it. Come here often when I'm in the neighborhood. Their baked goods are great and pricing is reasonable.The place is sort of like Sprouts or Whole Foods and pricing for staples is comparable, meaning a little pricey. I keep my eyes open for deals, which are generally good. The produce and meats are excellent quality and wide ranged. The beer and wine are also varied and interesting. And the kitchen goods and staples round things out. Parking is generally good as I never have any issues parking. The recent opening of a BofA branch in the lot is a benefit, though it has impacted the traffic flow. Recommend. read more

NATURAL AND ORGANIC (5 stars) They pride themselves on the highest quality natural and organic products! It's off Oceanside Blvd, in a plaza, and the space is very spacious. When you are not from the area, gems like these get overlooked, so I took the time to "know the area" because I can see myself live in Oceanside. In the meantime, 30m trek north with no traffic is no biggy for such random adventures. My intentions were to buy fruit, instead ended up exploring every single aisle to see what they got because find natural and organic markers fascinating for some weird af reason. They offer ALOT!!! And the price on food at a natural and organic market is a lot cheaper than places like Sprouts or TJ's in San Diego proper. I felt the prices were a tad bit cheaper with healthier options. I remember hearing about the opening of Frazier Farms as it is located near my office, and several colleagues asked, "Have you been to Frazier Farms yet?". I had no idea what they were talking about until last December when I first visited. Frazier Farms is really a lovely high-end supermarket located in a busy shopping area in La Mesa. It is bright and clean with fresh produce and bakery goods. They have a juice bar, deli, salad bar, and olive bar. They sell fresh seafood, including some lovely looking oysters. There, bulk nuts and other foods, wines, craft soaps and more. The staff is really very friendly. The first time I visited, I was trying to find something for a potluck that evening. I knew I wouldn't have time to cook. It was really a lot harder to find a potluck item than I thought it would be, however I did settle on large cooked shrimp with a jar of cocktails sauce. I had hoped for a bigger variety of ready-made potluck items. More recently I visited earlier this week. I was looking for a lean protein and a salad to bring to dinner at a friend's house. Again, I was looking for something pre-cooked as I was going there straight from work. I chose a kale and bean salad, but had a harder time picking a protein. There were a few options, but not as many as I had hoped. I finally chose the cooked teriyaki salmon from the pre-packaged section near the salad bar. I also chose the pickled mushrooms. Everything I chose was very good, but, again, there were limited options for what I was looking for. On another note, I was also shopping for a few lunch selections that day. I chose the poke bowl (Chef's Selection #2) and the seafood ceviche. Both were better than you would expect from a supermarket. So far, my favorite item I bought at Frazier Farms was the pickled mushrooms... delicious! All in all, Frazier Farms is a lovely place to shop. For whatever reason, I have had difficulty finding exactly what I was looking for each time I went, but I did end up purchasing some quality items each time. read more

I really love Frazier farms specifically for: Their seafood department- best I've ever seen, super fresh, huge selection, tons of local. Love love love it. Their meat department- always have grass fed beef options, including bones, different cuts of steaks, and ground beef. Amazing fresh organic cold pressed juices made to order available at great prices! Great bulk department! They always have raw milk in stock! Always tidy and clean! The negative: I swear EVERY single cart is messed up, and they never fix them or get new ones. The deli- for a store that sells high quality food options, the ingredients in their deli items contain canola oil, weird food stabilizers, and nothing is organic. Some crew members could be more friendly. Over all great store, decent parking, tons of selections. Awesome market!! read more

Frazier is one of my favorite places to go for groceries. I go just about every single week, they have many of the things I look for (higher quality items). My girlfriend loves their crème brûlée cheesecake. Overall the staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The store is organized, always maintained and stocked. Store looks really nice inside. However, the açaí bowl I ordered was just so-so. The fruit was very fresh, so that was good but I didn't care that the açaí was frozen rock-solid thus preventing me from mixing the contents due to the hardness. They keep their containers with açaí already in them in a freezer until someone orders one. Then they pull it out and add the fresh fruit. But still, concrete at the bottom and impossible to mix. I drive all the way home to north park and was disappointed. I placed an order and circled what I wanted. No mayo no mustard no tomatoes. Just lettuce, onion, black pepper. Instead I got 3 tiny shredded pieces of lettuce, one tiny onion, and stuff I don't want. On top of it they didn't even toast it. I got a sandwich here - the green goddess sandwich - and whoa this place is a new staple for me whenever I go to San Diego! The sourdough bread was perfect and the asparagus in the sandwich gave it a lovely crunch! They don't skimp on toppings- not even the avocado! Our sandwiches were ready by the time we arrived (we ordered online) and we paid up front at a cash register. We also got a side of russian sauce and enjoyed it! I've had food poisoning recently from their fish that I got home immediately to cook with fish known not to be fishy reeking. It wasn't like I got the last of it but there was lots. That's troubling. This is the only location. Other locations always seem to have good quality fish. It's happened a few times. They need to train their staff better on this issue. read more

Fish wasn't fresh, expired moldy garlic bread on shelf. Bought the ahi tuna steak on 2/17/25, opened the package next day, the flesh was separated from the grain line. I still had faith in them, so I went in again to pick up the garlic bread on 2/20/25 around 4pm. When I took it out from the bag after heating up in the oven, I saw there was mold over the bread. I then checked the package and it says best if used by 2/16/25... Maybe I was unlucky, tried to call the store, no one answered. I emailed the customer service( 2x), still haven't heard anything back. Very disappointing. read more

Bakery alert - This morning I impulsively bought a Jessie's Pumpkin Pie on my way to the produce section. It wasn't until I got home and tried to cut it that I discovered it was frozen! The top part of the filling was soft enough, but I couldn't cut through the crust. When I tried to lift out a slice, the whole pie came up and out of the tin! That's when I noticed the tiny ice crystals in the filling. Regulars know that this bakery is middle drawer, but putting out frozen pies along with nominally fresh baked goods? Frazier Farms is the 3rd to open in San Diego with an abundance of healthy options and a smoothie bar! My friends raved about their smoothies and bought me one of my choice. You fill out a paper form and select your choice of smoothie or food item and can add additional toppings for extra. I ordered a Green Protein smoothie and it was very strong with the peanut butter packed in. The smoothie was thick and I could taste a lot of apple juice. I would try a different one next time. My friend got a Blue Lagoon smoothie and it was tarte but refreshing. I noticed a lot of deals within the shelves and bought some macadamia milk and some cereal that I was craving. Although smaller, I like their selection better than most chain grocery stores and would come across Frazier Farms again when I need a grocery restock in the future! read more

Be careful when you shopped here, they sold expired stuff and the worst part was their meat section very smelly and when we took it back to them, they won't do anything, that's really messed up. Plus their prices is overpriced and low quality as h***!!! And their customer service from store manager was terrible as well. They just don't know how to handle issue with anyone else. I was out of town for about 6 years and the store opened while I wasn't here. I came in here within the first week I was back and was very impressed with everything about the store, the selection, the employees, the quality, cleanliness and availability of products that may not be in other stores. Some of their items are fairly high price but other things are very reasonable and they have great sales on the fruits and vegetables every week. It's definitely one of the health food stores on my rounds when I shop for healthy foods for myself. Good job, Frazier Farms! read more

Alright after coming here for so long it was time for a review. I really like the convenience of the deli area. Their sandwiches are good, cheap, and big. You can order online ahead of time and it's usually ready for pickup within 15 mins. I will definitely go the route of ordering online. This place gets really really packed especially during lunch time. Another thing we like to order from Frazier Farms is their pizza. Yup, I definitely like their pizza way better than most places. I do like thin crispy crust and that's how they make em. Simple, great, and easy pickup. I'm all about convenience now a days. Besides the food I love their produce. I do like how they have bok choy and since there's no Asian Market near me that's the only place I can get it. Every now and then Sprouts will have it too. I do like their sale. Sometimes their organic stuff is cheaper than their regular stuff? Can you believe it? I was able to get their organic strawberry for $2. I forget which month it was but it was nice to see. Another favorite at this market is their fish. Love their fresh fish and they're pretty honest on which fish was previously frozen or received that day and which is not. We generally get their Salmon. It is pricier than Aldi and Sprouts but so far we noticed the quality is better. I like their ready to eat selections and their bulk selections too. I have been eyeing this store for awhile but finally have been able to stop in and I loved it. They have a ton of selection of food items and a few items like sea moss that I haven't been able to find at other health food stores. Everyone I encountered that worked there was super friendly and helpful as well. The ambiance was great. It seemed as if they regularly had employees going through and straightening the aisles because everything was so kept. Definitely will be back to check out more items they have to offer. read more

Pretty solid neighborhood grocery store. I love all the healthy options that they have, especially since I can find pretty much everything I need here without having to travel to different stores. Even household goods like cleaning supplies and fruit wash are stocked here. The veggies and fruits in the produce aisle can be pretty hit or miss, but it's all locally grown and they have a huge organic selection, so it makes sense that stuff tends to go bad a little bit quicker. That said, their prices in this department are definitely the best around. I pretty much only shop here or at the actual farmers market in La Mesa for my produce. I also love that they're a One-Stop shop for lunch and dinner meals. The deli sandwiches are super solid, and they also have sushi and Pizza (which I admittedly haven't tried, but they always look pretty tasty). The smoothies and coffees are decent. Sometimes the smoothies don't quite hit the flavor mark, but it's because the ingredients that they are using aren't loaded with sugar the same way that they are at Jamba Juice. That said, the price is right for these and way less expensive than a typical smoothie from a smoothie shop. Some of what they sell here can get pricey pretty quickly, however. But that's the payoff for choosing healthy options, which is an unfortunate reality that we all live in today. The meat and seafood section is always on point and the butchers that work there are incredibly friendly and will help you choose the exact cuts of meat or fish that you're looking for. They even go above and beyond and will prep the meat for you if you ask them. Whenever I get salmon here, I always have them cut the skin off for me because when I do it at home I usually wind up just butchering the poor thing. Note: salmon skin makes an awesome soup, so don't throw it away! Some of the reviews have noted that there are some folks that work here with less than pleasant personalities, but I have yet to run into any such employees. They're always helpful if I'm looking for something specific and knowledgeable about any questions I have. Overall I give them four out of five stars mostly because of the current grocery price gouging we're seeing across the board. While they do have some excellent deals here at Frazier Farms, a lot of other things seem to be wildly overpriced for no apparent reason. It's not everything, but it's enough to make me knock one star off. Overall however, this place will remain my go-to grocery shop for quick dinners and delicious ingredients. read more

This grocery store will not have everything you might get at a more omnibus store like Albertsons but the quality is great. They have sushi and espresso drinks and a number of premade foods. Well the only reason I gave this business a three is basically because every single solitary time I order online My order is not correct or accurate so that's 100% of the time I go and I'm going to say I probably been maybe 10 times they can't get it right I this last time I had the grocery employee the bagger pack my bags not only was my order not correct but she didn't put one of my items that I purchased in my bag so I paid for that never got it and God forbid anybody you know come out to the parking lot and say oh you for we forgot to put this in your bag I think the store's great it mimics sprouts I did email one of the owners and never heard a response back but I just think that they need to really train their employees better and yeah okay go in I could go in and make an order but the purpose of going online is just to run in grab my food and run out I don't want to have to walk around the store and shop that's why I do things online and what's the purpose of an online order and then the employees can't get it right so that's basically my only complaint about this business they have good fruits they have great vegetables it's just their online ordering is pathetic and it doesn't seem to be getting better read more
