    The level of ineptitude of the employees here is astounding! Seriously only come here for the specials . They had ribs on sale for $2.99 lb so I pu 2 racks for labor day weekend. First of all they only had 2 registers open besides self check out line a plenty ridiculous! Then the cashiers are slower than sloths and chit chatting with customers while others are waiting. Seriously maybe keep the line moving? So I finally get up there and asked her if I got charged the sale price on ribs fir $2.99 lb she said yes. I get out and check the receipt nope $4.99 lb was charged. I approached cashier and she unpoliletely said go to customer service. Well customer service was also rude and unapologetic as my ice cream is melting I'm waiting on them to refund me the $11 difference. On way out i told cashier that i got it corrected and to pay attention she just sarcastically told me to have a good day. This store's a joke !

    Meat description

    I ended up purchasing 2 chuck roast since they were on sale only to open up the package and flip the meat and see rotten grey meat like it was purposely packaged to hide the nasty part yuck what a waste of money and time. Sadly this is one of the closest grocery stores to me and now I will be questioning their meat dept from here on out probably best to skip the meat aisle.

    All cashiers at my albertsons in spring valley are disgruntled. Even the manager has a passive aggressive personality and often is just rude to customers.

    ***UPDATE*** 1/14/2023 So, I was contacted by phone on Monday 1/9 @3:32PM by "Mike" who said he was the "store manager". Very nice gentleman. Very concerned with my experience with the cake. He offered me a "full" refund and another cake for free. I ordered the free cake "online" this time so that it would be on paper "exactly" what I ordered. It was to be picked up on Saturday 1/14/2023. "Mea" another manager, refunded me the original cake on 1/9/2023 @5:38PM and told me that she would put a note in the office for when I came to pick up my "free cake" on 1/14/2023. Fast forward to today, 1/14/2023 @12.11pm. I go in to pick up the cake, the bakery clerk was very nice. I get to checkstand 3 where I was told the "manager" was. I presented the cake, told the story AND presented receipts!!!! I hate to be the one to stereotype but he left me with no choice because he was NOT WEARING A NAME TAG. He was an African American man short and bald. He gave me a whole big deal about the cake, he said there was NOT a note about this issue, he had the line held up, making me look as if I was trying to steal a cake or be dishonest about getting the free cake that was approved by "the store manager named Mike"! He then proceeded to say, "well just take the cake because I don't have anyone to verify this information with". Honestly it was very embarrassing to say the least. Albertsons......please you guys MUST do better about this!!!! This definitely sealed the deal about me NOT patronizing this store EVER again! ***Original*** If I could give ZERO stars I would!!!! Please DO NOT order a cake from this Albertsons bakery!!! I called in and ordered a cake from this bakery on Friday January 6th for my sisters 53rd birthday. It was suppose to have fresh strawberries and strawberry gel in the inside. We received a cake that only had fresh strawberries inside. There was no gel, no icing or anything to hold the cake together. The cake was VERY basic, no designs or anything. We found some sprinkles to sprinkle on top and 3 little designs that we had around house. When you cut into it, the cake literally fell apart and only had a few strawberries inside. I called the bakery manager "Amanda" to try and resolve this issue, but instead she told me that she had the order in front of her and it was not marked for gel so unfortunately she does NOT have the authority to issue me a refund. When I ordered the cake, the young lady repeated back to me, fresh strawberries AND gel? I said yes. I feel like as a "manager" you are suppose to make this right. Instead she didn't apologize, she only stated that she has the order in front of her and it didn't have gel marked! I will take ownership of not physically going in to order the cake, as I was working. But I also feel like you should be able to call and place an order and someone take the order correctly. So now we have a dry, basic cake that was $43.99. Lesson learned!

    Picked up my prescriptions there was no crowd. Everything went smoothly and nice and fast. Also, the customer service was great.

    Ahhhh. Came here 15 mins before closing to grab some milk. They closered their door early. Their doors show 8pm closing.

We found the relocated baby aisle and she let me know the store will undergo remodeling. I think it's great because it could use a new look. I do think they should've had a sign posted about the relocation as well as the sign posted about where to find formula. Ambiance is nothing special storewise and occasionally there are some nasty customers. For instance, a guy was walking around visibly sick and huddled over then sneezed without covering his mouth and I could see all the nastiness fly out of his mouth. I was so disgusted. I like the sales and the ease of self checkout. The lines can get long if multiple people need assistance at self checkout. I like what I assume is security at the entrance/exit. I've seen one follow people around. I also like using instacart pickup or delivery with this store. It's helpful when I'm busy and don't want both kids in the store shopping.
