Today, I was looking for baby items. The entire aisle was empty! I asked a woman in the pharmacy for help and she asked around then said she'd look with me. We found the relocated baby aisle and she let me know the store will undergo remodeling. I think it's great because it could use a new look. I do think they should've had a sign posted about the relocation as well as the sign posted about where to find formula. Ambiance is nothing special storewise and occasionally there are some nasty customers. For instance, a guy was walking around visibly sick and huddled over then sneezed without covering his mouth and I could see all the nastiness fly out of his mouth. I was so disgusted. I like the sales and the ease of self checkout. The lines can get long if multiple people need assistance at self checkout. I like what I assume is security at the entrance/exit. I've seen one follow people around. I also like using instacart pickup or delivery with this store. It's helpful when I'm busy and don't want both kids in the store shopping.

The last time I bought frozen chicken wings and when I got home, I can't even describe what parts of the bird was in the pack.And today, I went and got a pack of pork chops, and the smell when I sliced the package open was unbearable. When I went to take the chicken back, they were like if you didn't have the receipt, there's nothing they can do about it.Which is insane?The packaging was there.And today, I happened to have the receipt for the pork chops, and as soon as I sat the bag in front of the cashier.She immediately covered her nose. She went and got the manager who's in charge of the meat, and she specifically said that that package of meat has been sitting since yesterday. Sitting where I have no idea, but you could tell it was sitting somewhere that was not cool. The only reason I got my refund is because I had my receipt. They literally have a store in our community, and they're selling old and nasty meat.

A few bites into my half, I noticed mold on the side of my sandwich. By that point, she had already eaten about half of hers. I called immediately. After several holds and back-and-forth, I was told they couldn't refund a single item, and that the owner said I could drive back to pick up cash. I explained I was at work and moving to Temecula in two days. I wasn't rude, I was patient through every hold. I've worked in food service. If this ever happened where I worked, we would have refunded the entire order and done whatever it took to make it simple for the customer. The owner offered to drive the cash to my house, which I declined, I didn't want a stranger at my door, and honestly, it wasn't about the money. My pregnant wife ate moldy food. Not once did anyone ask if she was okay or acknowledge that this was a health concern. I never received a refund. I just expected basic accountability, apparently that was too much to ask.
