I have been a loyal customer for at least 7 years. This location has gotten progressively worse over time. Constantly out of food (and there's no other choices), crates blocking the aisles and food items, and moldy food on the shelves, such as peppers, tortilla shells and berries. This is almost every time. One of the last times I went, the doors to the fridge were broke. All they did was put a sign on that said Do Not Open. But they never moved the food, so things like cream cheese, butter, etc couldn't be accessed. I'm finally done shopping at this location after my pickup order was late and they didn't give me food I paid for. I called the number but Aldi doesnt allow individual store numbers. So now another trip I have to make out. I spent so much time going back-and-forth to the store because of moldy food items and other mishaps that it's worth it for me to shop somewhere else. Aldis I know your shorthanded and like anyone else you have supply chain issues, but today you SUCK! I go in and cant find everything. Get home and 3 bags of salad are brown with mold in them. I also purchased pepperoni that had mold in it. All had to be thrown out. If it was cheese, I might be predisposed to cutting it off and eating it but this is unacceptable . You need to get people checking the deliveries and returning it to the supplier! Not happy at all! read more

This aldi is actually pretty decent. I typically shop at the one on Ridge and Caton but this one is also local to me. The Good: they keep everything stocked and the cashiers are very friendly The Bad: Garbage always blows into the double door area since it is located at a main intersection. Much to my surprise; I really enjoy shopping at Aldi, it has changed the way I shop and improved my bottom line. I always find what I want or an alternative, seasonal items (after the fact) are reduced significantly, produce is fresh and the meat is priced well. The stores are clean and once you learn the lay out, all locations are pretty much the same. I have found prices for the same item, such as milk and eggs vary by location. On top of that; I'm a huge Clark Howard fan and this is what he says about Aldi, "By shopping at Aldi, customers can save up to 33% off traditional supermarket prices and up to 20% off Walmart prices. But beware that there are tradeoffs for that savings." Here is the list of Clark Howard's trade offs: Small stores: Aldi stores are about the size of a neighborhood chain drugstore with small aisles. Less real estate means less overhead and more savings for you. Focus on private labels: There's only a tiny selection of products because of the emphasis on store brands. You don't have 10 kinds of butter, for example. There may only be one or two kinds available. Forget about the paradox of choice. Schedule conflicts: They have limited hours and long lines. No bags, but there are cart rentals: There are no grocery bags and you have to rent a cart for 25 cents, which you get back when you return it to the corral. That reduces the cost of having to pay somebody to round up carts in the parking lot and it reduces accidental dents to your car when carts roll around the parking lot. Limited payment options: Many Aldi locations only take cash, while other may accept select debit cards. No credit cards! "The selection is just large enough that a dedicated Aldi shopper could make this their only supermarket. But again, shopping at Aldi is an acquired taste. I love the savings. My wife introduced me to Aldi more than 25 years ago. She been a devotee for much longer than that. This location is my favorite in the area, although I also like the one on Weber Road. I will say I wasn't a huge fan of the remodel/redesign initially. But now I don't mind it. Aldi is great for dry goods like crackers and chips and rice and pasta and breakfast cereals. It's also great for canned goods like tomato products and fruits and vegetables. Eggs and milk, even almond and cashew milks, and other dairy are all fine. Produce like bananas, carrots, celery, onions, peppers, mushrooms and potatoes are usually very good. Sometimes fresh fruit like berries and avacadoes can be hit or miss. Also they have great frozen foods. And wine... They have wine. Inexpensive but very drinkable, good-enough-for-company, wine. Finally, the crew at this Aldi is terrific. They are all friendly and helpful and efficient. read more

This is a hard review for me to write. I have been a loyal customer for years; great prices, good quality for the non-perishable and frozen foods. Today I had a poor experience which I believe happens periodically. Today the Advent Wine was supposed to go on sale. I arrived prior to the opening on the first day it went on sale. Aldi's had already passed out tickets for the 16 wine calendars they received. I saw ads for this product in print and on TV. If Aldi wants to be a serious store they need to have supplies of what they sell which are not a joke, this product really didn't exist, I believe the same thing happened last year so Aldi's did not learn from their experience. So to wrap up, for your everyday needs Aldi is a 5 star store, for some things they advertise as limited they really don't have them. read more

I love aldi especially now that they are going organic. This location competes with the other great grocery stores around them such and Tony's and Mariano's. I like their meat selection and prices here. However, they do not have good produce. I never buy it here since it doesn't look fresh. The one on Jefferson is much better for that. read more

I had my first Aldi experience a few weeks ago and didn't think to write a review until now! I went with my friend and I was really impressed. To be honest, I had heard negative things about Aldi in the past but I was able to get some great deals. My friend got a cart from the lot, I think it's a quarter but you get it back after. You also have to bring your own bags or they charge you for them. I got some spices I had been needing and picked up an awesome snow brush and scraper for my husband to keep in his car. My friend got some produce and some other items as well. The employees were friendly and checkout was fast as we went in late on a Sunday night. This place and its management can't do proper inventory. They will limit the quantity of an item without a written notice. This is the 3rd time I've had an issue with this place. All the cashiers are wonderful with great customer service but John the manager must be replaced or retrained! read more

The last three times I've been in here they had rotting fruit and tomatoes for sale. They clearly don't have someone rotating out the produce. I could see if it was one piece missed one time. But to see it every time I've been in the store and for it to be not only one piece but several different things all rotting is disturbing. This is the reason why I don't buy meat or produce from Aldis anymore. I can't trust their standard of freshness. read more

This was my favorite Aldi and since they remodeled last winter, it's better than ever! It's clean, well stocked and the cashiers are super friendly. Their line of organic foods has expanded as well as the quality of all their produce.The overall selection isn't as vast as large stores, but there is plenty of selection. Occasionally I need to make a trip to Meijer or Tony's or Jewel but Aldi is my main go-to store. 'Prices are great: I save sooo much money. Always buy nuts, detergent, bagged spinach, paper towels, guacamole and chips, and Gluten free products there. Store brand is just as good as the "other guys" and taste the same. They have huge fresh pizzas and fancy cheese and wine. Prices stay pretty much the same (though egg price varies) which is nice, They have sales and special buys, too. Yes, you have to pack your own groceries. Yes, you should bring your own bags (or buy paper ones for 6 cents). Yes you need a quarter if you want a cart but you get it back when you're finished. Sometimes there are long lines but the cashiers are super fast and someone will open a register is the line gets too long. Aldi shoppers are nice,too, if I may say so myself! If you only have an item or two, people will generally let you go ahead of them is their cart is full. They now except credit cards! Hurray! I don't eat meat but I have purchased chicken and ground beef there for company. Unless you are opposed to saving money, there's nothing wrong with it!
