If you see the billboards for the restaurant it calls itself "The Home of the Throwed Rolls". This is because the delicious yeast dinner rolls are not brought to your table, a server calls out, from the front of the restaurant, "Who wants a roll" and as you raise your hand he throws them to you. Drinks are served in 32 ounce tumbler mugs. "Pass Arounds" are unlimited...this includes the rolls, apple butter or sorghum butter to put on the rolls, fried potatoes, macaroni and tomatoes and fried okra. The menu includes things like frog legs, chicken livers and gizzards and then southern basics like chicken fried steak, ham steak. Pork chops. I got "Something Southern" which is hog jowl (think bacon on steroids) and a large bowl of white beans with ham chunks. It comes with two sides, I chose cottage cheese and cucumbers and onions. All I can say is YUMM!!! There are three Lamberts...the original is in Sikeston, Mo (I have been there several times), this on in Ozark, Mo and then a third in Foley, Al. If you find yourself in the Lamberts neighborhood make sure to go there.

It would have been nice to read about it's history and specifications though. Did some research afterwards... fork is stainless steel at 36 feet tall and over 11K pounds. Wow, that's a humongous fork! Nice to have met you, World's Largest Fork. Anyway, you can't climb on the fork. You could lean on it or lay in front/back of it. You can do unique poses for your photos. Other than that, there's really nothing else to do. Was it worth the stop? For me, yes it was because I got to stand next to the World's Largest Fork. My eldest daughter would say otherwise. She didn't think too much of it. Is it worth your stop? Well, it depends if you want the photo op or not. Say cheese!
