It's a big fork. How can it not be 5/5 stars? Literally the biggest fork I have ever seen. It was what I expected. Fun little side thing to see when in town.

This is a super cute stop you can make quickly in Springfield. I'm a fan of giant versions of things, so when I heard of this behemoth fork, I had to make a pit stop to see it. The fork was placed there at the design agency who created it, fittingly adjacent to the Food Network building. There's a sign that asks visitors not to walk on the landscaping around the utensil, but we unfortunately did not see that until we had taken our photo up next to the fork. How could you tell how large the fork is though without a person standing next to it? Exactly. This is a fun little stop that should take all of 10 minutes to admire and snap a few pics. It's 35 feet tall and weighs over 10 tons. That's a lot of fork!

Really cool to see. To be honest the only reason I went there's because of the Chappell Roan music video Hot to Go.

Small little attraction you can pull off into a back parking lot and view. We personally stopped in here real quick for what was a one way 13 min drive while waiting for our table at Lambert's cafe. We had a 50 min wait and whole process took us 40 min so it worked out perfectly. Was cool to see. I'm sure my kids will remember that they have seen the the worlds largest fork.

Located in a business complex sits this quirky unofficial landmark. I love stopping to look at odd ball things on road trips so this fit right in. It's a fun spot for pictures and my kids got a kick out of it. There are also a few food places near by if you wanted to catch a quick bite.

Great photo spot! Lots of ample parking as well, definitely a cool place to pose for pics, and show your co-workers or your loved ones that you made it to the World's SECOND Largest Fork.

Not sure if this is verified as the world's largest but certainly the biggest I've ever seen. Fun to see if in Springfield. Would have been 5 stars but leaving only 4 because it's hard to eat with it.

Located in front of a non-descript office building, this is a two minute tourist stop that id recommend so you have one less large than life item on your bucket list and since there are a few nearby shops and restaurants that appear worth checking out.

It was a large fork; probably the largest in the world. I was expecting more but it is what it is. Lol

ROFL!. This is a must go to if you are in for a fun little adventure and to take a few pics. We drove 15 minutes out of our way and was worried I had the wrong address- just make your way to the back of the building and no way will you miss it! For some reason, this cracked me up! I couldn't stop laughing the rest of the afternoon! Hey, adventures are what you make them! It is a BIG FORK!

Spend 5 minutes off the beaten path while you're in Springfield and visit this quirky landmark. Great photo opp! I mean, it's the WORLD'S LARGEST FORK! How could you not? It is at a business and they want you to stay off the landscaping, per the sign (which we didn't see until after we got photos of the fork impaling us, unfortunately - Sorry!). Cute little area with lots of brick, which my daughter loved for taking social media pics. Glad we stopped by.

This is a must see thing for easy-going, easily-amused people. It was fun making fork puns such as "don't fork with me" or "you got me forked up." Directions take you to the front so make sure you go around the back to spot it! I will hold this dearly in my memories as I don't think I will ever see a larger fork in my life.

Her very first words were, "Why are you here?" -- no greeting, no courtesy, just instant hostility. We were only there to take a quick photo of the outside and look at the grounds, as we were considering renting the venue for a wedding. We're from out of town and were in the area just for the weekend, but she immediately accused us of trespassing instead of simply asking what we needed. To make things worse, she blocked the driveway so we couldn't turn around properly, forcing us to back through the grass rather than letting us move forward a couple of feet to the wider part of the drive. I'm also quite sure her behavior was influenced by my alternative haircut and color, which made the experience feel even more judgmental and discriminatory. We will never come back here or recommend this place to anyone.

The tour guide did his best, but his script was rather mediocre. His presentation was repetitive and I had a hard time hearing him over the sounds of the air conditioning. You were not allowed to take photographs unless you requested permission prior to taking each one you wanted. The tour opened with a short video which could have been interesting except the narrator was unintelligible. I was able to decipher about 10 words during the 6 minute film. There are a lot of stairs on the tour (no elevator) so this would not be a good tour for anyone with mobility issues.

Since moving to Springfield five years ago for college, I've seen it grow from a relatively unsafe (and generally un-fun) place to hang out to one of Queen City's most successfully revamped neighborhoods. What I personally love about Commercial Street is the almost magical sense of history that exists down there. From a renovated firehouse, to a long line of brick buildings in various states of repair, to the ol' footbridge (I wouldn't recommend setting foot on the other side of the latter, just FYI), everything on this block had a serious sense of purpose at one point in time. A local historian could go on about it much more than I could, but I do know that it used to be where Springfield's original train station was back when everything was all sepia-toned. The best reasons to visit what myself and friends call C-Street today are for the restaurants, cafés and miscellaneous eateries old and new; they sit next door to each other despite some being incredibly diverse and others being classically American. Also, the scattering of small barbers, antique shops and modern marketing firms is neat to see as well. While the blocks immediately surrounding C-Street are still a little less than safe after dark, the street itself is now a place I enjoy being at any hour of the day or evening. Despite what you may hear from locals who still think C-Street is the C-Street of 2010, 2014 C-Street is a great place to be and it's getting better by the month. I dig it. You should too.
