This is the closest Aldi to my house, and I usually find myself here. Located on Hillsboro just west of Powerline, it's at the end of a strip shopping center with plenty of parking. This is a nice store. Not the prettiest store, but if you're looking for decent quality and super value... you find it here. It's clean and organized. Nice selection of grass fed beef and a big selection of their own brand of organic food. A lot of the produce section is locally grown and there's a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. One of the few places in the area you can get fresh ginger root at a crazy low price. Apples, blueberries, avocados, asparagus, tomatoes, and even potatoes are so much less than other stores. Then there's the best area of the store... the Aisle of Shame, where you can pick up some fun seasonal items, housewares, and candles. So much fun, it's a must stop!!! read more

I love Aldi stores; it's either Aldi or Walmart and at times Publix. Aldi seems to have most of what I need at value pricing. Its stores are compact unlike the massive Walmart Supercenters. This particular Aldi location is right next to a McDonalds also, another value merchant. I visit this store when I'm in the area. read more

The quality of the fruits and vegetables are pretty spectacular. It's a very busy place and the shelves are stocked well. It's a bit hard at certain times to move through the store and to get checked out. But for the products you can get the extra struggle is worth it. But if you are in a rush think twice before going. read more

Prices are good but there are never enough cashiers. 95% of the time you are waiting in line an inappropriate amount of time. Sometimes this line causes congestion in the store. This is frustrating to someone with recovering foot injuries. There's no space to load your groceries into your reusable bags. At the cashier/ checkout, when you do not bring your own shopping cart, your goods are placed in a store shopping cart. If you bring reusable bags, there isn't really an appropriate loading space for you to load your goods into your bags. You have to either move your items to another location, away from the register, or bend over down into the store shopping cart to load your bags. Neither are ideal. This is not very considerate of the customer. I think there should be an appropriate loading station or loading cart for customers to arrange their goods into their bags directly after having them scanned by the cashier. Perhaps a moveable rolling table as opposed to a shopping cart. A shopping cart doesn't cut it. read more

Even though we have been to the stores across the street many many times, I had no idea that this Aldi was here. We were coming from the west side of town and I'd looked up the closest Aldi and this one came up. I was trying to find a particular brand of ice pops that I'd purchased not that long ago in another Aldi store. Of course, each store is almost like going into a new store -- as each has its own limited specials. But I figured it would not hurt to look. We are not regular grocery shoppers in Aldi stores, but there are a few things we like. My husband likes their pimento cheese spread and as he'd not had it in awhile we got this -- among a few other things. It's interesting to see what they have in their one off section. The thing to do is if you see something you want you have to buy it then and there. The bad thing is if you like something, you may never ever find it again. And no, I didn't find the yummy low-calorie chocolate covered banana ice pops that I wanted. But I did find some (low calorie) orange sorbet pops that tasted like creamsicles. So although disappointed, I've got something else to enjoy -- if only for a short time. Glad to know this store exists. Now we have another one to explore (again) in the future. read more

This is exactly like every other Aldi's and maybe a little cleaner than most. If you go to Aldi's expect everything to be super cheap and you will wait forever in line. They believe they save money by keeping their staff to a minimum but they also raise my blood pressure when I have to stand in line for 20 minutes. If I see carts 10 deep in line I usually turn around and walk back out of the store. If they are so concerned about not paying people to check you out then they should just put in self checkout registers like Walmart. Another thing to keep in mind is if you want a cart you will need s quarter that will be refunded when you return it and they won't provide you a grocery bag so plan on bringing your own. These are just Aldisism's that you have to accept if you want to shop here. If you can live with the long lines and their quirks you can save some money on your groceries here. They carry staples and seasonal items. They also have a row of whatever home goods, toys, tools, and seasonal items they are selling at a given time. It changes all the time so while you never know what you will find if you do like something it will be cheap. I came in today and found a few sweet treats to add to my daughter's Easter basket. I am also fond of their inexpensive Moiselle Moscato wine. Also on this trip I discovered a frozen sweet potato casserole for only $3.50 that will save me some time in the kitchen this Easter Sunday. I could never do a full week of shopping here but it is always fun to see what new items I can discover. That line though, not fun at all. read more

This aldi location is clean but I wish it was better organized. The prices are what keeps me coming back but I will keep shopping at the other Deerfield location when possible. I couldn't find a few things that are usually in the same area like the seasoning mixes. I couldn't find ANYONE to help me at all and when I did find someone to help me, she told me she'll be right back. She never came back to help and I ended up not getting all the items I came in for. This happened both times I've been to this location. Make sure to bring a quarter or your own bag to carry your purchase in case you can't find a unused box in the store. read more

Aldi is a very nice grocery store with tremendous prices on most items that they sell. They mostly sell their own brands of wine, beer and groceries. If you're looking for something like Coca-Cola, you have to settle for their version of Cola. Bread and meat is sold at a very good price. Aldi has a strange system of giving you a cart to use for shopping. You must insert a quarter in order to get the cart. When you return the cart, it releases a quarter to pay you back. Sort of a complicated procedure to insure that you don't steal their cart. Overall, Aldi is quite a nice little store. You can do most of your shopping there, but it is hard to find everything you need to cook a meal. You also have to bring your own bags unless you can find a used box. You get used to the quirks after a while. Give it a try!!! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. Someone wrote they have the cart quarter system so their carts don't get stolen. Who wants to steal a cart? It's so their employees don't waste time having to run all over the parking lot and retrieve carts. The prices are amazing. I always get my staples here. I never buy bread, milk, cheese, butter at Publix anymore knowing what a great deal I can get here at Aldi. Their specialty items are amazing as well. They guacamole is fantastic. My son ate the entire thing in a day. Cereal prices are fantastic. You cannot get a box of cereal at Publix for under $5. Even if it's buy 1 get 1 free still better prices. Bagels under $2 for 6. The lines may be long sometimes but go fast. In the end the bill is probably 1/4 of what it would be if I had shopped at Publix. read more

Aldi may not have the selection of Publix and other major food stores, however what they may lack in offering 5 or 6 different brands, they make up for in great quality, lower prices, an extensive selection of organic and vegan foods and friendly staff. Aldi is a great supermarket for people that want to save money while getting quality food. It is a lot smaller than your average supermarket, but yet they seem to have most of the things that I buy. The prices are really amazing. Most of the items they sell are from their own brands. Some are better than the national brands and some are worse. They have fresh fruits and vegetables and now even fresh meats and fish. The cons are that you have to deposit a quarter to use a shopping cart, and you have to return it to get your quarter back. There aren't that many associates to help you with questions, however, you can usually find one stocking the store and they are friendly and eager to help you. The check-out lines seem long but, they move really fast. The workers are timed to make sure of this. Lastly, they don't provide complementary bags, but this is good for the environment, so I don't mind. read more

Update: Aldi's corporate office reached out to me in regards to the review, like this one on fb. The person handling the case told me they don't allow any photography in their store! So you can be reprimanded if you take a selfie, take a picture of your grocery cart with #GoodEats! Basically anything that entails social media means you can get yelled at and kicked out of their stores! I'll never go back to their stores. Yes, you can get great deals at this store. I usually love coming in here and getting my son stuff from this baby section. The snacks are the same quality as the name brands! It's a pretty good location, in general! My complaints are they usually never have many people on staff so you getting in and out quickly is not really an option! I do come here for items but only when I have the time. With a busy schedule and an almost toddler, time is super valuable as well! I've tried their wines, not a fan! The produce section is amazing and you will find great organic options! I love their FitActive in house brand! Just remember with Aldi, it's a hit or miss with their stuff! You either love it or you hate it, at least in my opinion! This location is clean for the most part, I have had a few bad experiences with their restroom when I was pregnant! It's was such a mess and I just couldn't use it! I have 1 big complaint, there is a manager named Joshua, who has seen me in here numerous times and jokes with me regularly! Today, i was taking a picture if their amazing baby section for what was going to be a 3 -4 star review of this location! He screams out across the store, quite a few customers turned, "Hey You! you can't take pictures in here!" I asked, "even for a yelp review?" He looked like a deer in headlights. I spoke to another associate, she informed me that their policy is for the news media! I don't think a yoga pants wearing, Mama with a cracked iPhone taking pictures of Gerber food and baby snacks is trying to do anything harmful to your business. I told the associate it was for a Yelp review and she said to me, "don't lower our score!" I was personally embarrassed by him yelling across the store. He could have asked or come up to me. I'm a customer and a regular. I'm really big on respect and customer service! I will go back to this location, only because it's right by my home. I have yet to visit an Aldi that I had a bad experience or did not like. I absolutely love Aldi! Prices are amazing and their selection of products is vast! Their store brand is much better than many other store brands. Have yet to try something from them that I didn't like. My favorite line is their specialty brand which is all European based products which are high quality and super affordable prices! My favorite is there Belgium dark chocolate baking chips which are so good. You could easily eat them as regular chocolate! read more

I like Aldo. I usually go to their Boca Raton store. I was happy to hear that there's a new Aldi in Deerfield Beach. I went there a few days ago. This Aldi seems to be a little smaller then their Boca Raton Store. There were a few items that I wanted, but couldn't find there. Since it was almost closing time the staff was busy closing up and there was nobody to ask about the items I wanted. The fruits and vegetables looked good. They have a good selection of inexpensive wines. Aldi has become my favorite place for buying wine. The next time I go to the Deerfield Beach store I'll get there earlier so I have more time to look around. read more

This is the worst place to shop for groceries! The prices are good, yes it is! But, customer service is awful! Employees just pretending that they don't hear you when you are about to ask a question. Their produce is rotting on the shelves. You mention it to the staff and they say that it's because it's close to closing time. I'm sorry but no grocery store should have rotting produce regardless of what time it is. Packages of strawberries are rotting so much they are leaking. This went from a good store to do not go here. I love shopping at Aldi, but I have decided not to shop at the West Hillsboro store anymore and I'll just wait until the one on Federal Hwy reopens. This store has stopped requiring quarters for their carts (why???) and now there are carts all over the parking lot. And of course they don't have employees whose job it is to collect carts from the parking lot. Also, the last few times I shopped at this store, there were no disinfectant wipes for the carts and no hand disinfectant either. There's always a traffic jam at the entrance because of the produce section being front and center, and the aisle is not wide enough. Not to mention there are always restocking carts in most of the aisles, and though the aisles are wide, they're not wide enough for shopping carts and restocking carts too. I have left feedback twice, but got nothing back but crickets. read more

I go to Aldi all the time. First time at this location, and got treated in a disturbing way. Joe was my cashier. I had my baby in the car seat along with a spring water with me under the cart and before I can tell him to please use my cart (as I usually do) he was already stuffing another cart. He was too distracted to listen to me. So I tried to leave with both carts, one with the food and the other with my baby. And he would not allow me! Made a scene. I asked kindly if I can just return the cart to him after I put baby down, but that was not happening. I had to take my baby out of the cart, which is very heavy since she was in her car seat. And push a cart with food. Very unpleasant visit and surprised that an Aldi employee would be so rude!!!! Worst customer service ever , we just left this location and I'm pretty annoyed, the cashier who is is Latina maybe in her 40s with curly golden colored hair is about the rudest woman you will ever meet she rudely tells you to put your items on the conveyor line and she then says do it fast. She then starts dropping our items fast into her cart practically throwing our things and when I tell her to not dump our items like that she cops an attitude. I'm sorry we aren't getting free food we are paying customers and me and my husband don't like being treated like dog crap while we are buying our food and supplies. I'm a huge fan of Aldi, but if you're in the area keep on driving to the one on 441 and palmetto. This Aldi has no refrigerated produce, and all the produce suffers for it. Prices are low as with all Aldis, but if you have to trash half your strawberries, it's not really a good deal! Target and Publix are less than 5 minutes away, so I would go there next time. read more

This location of Aldi is great! They have a great assortment of products, awesome prices and nice employees (when you can find one). The employees sit when you check out and there is no customer service department, so checking out and returns can be difficult and time consuming which is why I marked it down one star. I did need to return something recently and without a receipt the cashier was very helpful, I just had to stand in line with everyone else. Really great prices though and worth it! read more

I have shopped at Aldis for over 25 years, first in Ohio, then New Jersey and now in Deerfield Beach. I have saved literally thousands of dollars by doing so. It is a small scale, seasonal basics kind of store, which is how I like to shop. Get your gourmet goodies elsewhere. Their organic offerings have increased significantly in the past few years. Meats have also improved. Produce is great, although just like at any store a shopper has to be choosy. Sometimes a whole shipment of one fruit is over ripe or under ripe. Lightning fast check out staff. Service and clientele vary between stores but the Deerfield staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Aldis has been in Europe for decades, is family owned. Only wish I could buy stock in it! read more

My wife got me turned on to aldi. The price for organic foods is great. We use a lot of the baby products for our toddler. We are label readers and the ingriedents are very clean and our son loves the pouches, puffs and snacks. The diapers are pretty good and we swear by the wipes. We get the frozen kale dino bites for our son here as well. We buy a good amount of our produce from here. Having organic produce for such a great price is great for our health and wallet. My only gripe is that we have bought things that have gone bad, aldi will take it back and give you a new product no hassle, but finding the time to go back with a busy work schedule and child. It would be easier to get it right the first time. We prefer other locations but this one is closest to our home. read more

Great store I never knew existed, they have a great line of gluten free products! Everything is labeled so if an item doesn't have any gluten it is labeled gluten free! They're g-free line of gluten free products is really great and very reasonably priced! Staff is very friendly and helpful. What I would spend at publix I'm paying half for and they have a lot of grommet items from Germany, great finds! I do 3/4 of my shopping here the only thing I don't buy from here is meat and fish other wise everything else is very good. Prices are lower than any other market chain around, they best then by a lot! Good deals but be careful, especially on dated items. Many Items that I have purchased with expiration dates (I.E dairy, meat) have went off before the dates on the package. My latest UGH was milk. I just moved to Boca. I love this Aldi's, the employees are great and ring up your items quick. Some items you have to check for expperation dates but for the most part if you're trying to save money on groceries Aldo's is the place to go!
