Well this sucks! Literally just got home & sadly I can't return it bc I wasn't given a receipt. 1st Aldi trip was a fail
    Nancy V.

Finally, made it out to Aldi to see what kind of bargains will I score rather than hitting up my local grocery store. They have a nice selection of certain fresh products and other things but I can tell it's one of those hit or miss places. Really, it's based on what they get delivered but it's worth shopping with Aldi 1st before going where you know you'll find certain brands and paying full price. If you have the time & have an Aldi nearby it's worth a trip. They had a nice variety in cheese's; WIN-WIN! Unfortunately, you'll have to double check real good on what you purchased besides just checking the expiration date. A block of cheese that I purchased was moldy inside under the wrapper. Which at the time of purchasing, I only looked at the expiration date; not thinking I would have to try my best to look under the foggy texture wrapper to find mold. Thankfully I bought 2 different types so I was still able to work with 1 for my dinner. My only not so great experience was when paying and bagging my stuff. The cashier was not the friendliest and when asked if I wanted to buy a bag I politely told him I had my own and waited for him to slide my stuff over so I can start bagging it. No, instead I literally was reaching across in front of him, his face over the barcode scanner to bag my stuff. 1.) I do not mind bagging my own stuff I actually enjoy it. 2.) Why would you not slide my stuff across so that I wouldn't have to be reaching in front of you to get my stuff? Pandemic or not it's just weird. I even looked at him "Like are you serious right now?" and he was so nonchalant about it. I realized I never did get a receipt when I realized I had moldy cheese. I just told him to have a nice rest of his day and left.

This is a kind of store Compton needs in the town center. They have veggies and fruits. The place is clean. You go in get your stuff and you are out. There is plenty of parking also.

No more cherry acai for me. I did have granola so that was not what caused the problem I experienced before. I can confidently keep ordering my bowls here now. I'm really glad I don't need to switch shops because the location is convenient and I liked everything about my previous orders except those irritating bits of miniature concrete I kept chewing on when I ordered the bowls with cherry. I've been here three times, and each visit has fallen well short of the experience provided by other nearby locations. The staff often seemed disengaged and gave off the impression that they wanted us to hurry up and order. Most recently, I ordered a simple mini Pitaya bowl and a smoothie. After waiting more than 15 minutes and watching several customers who ordered after us receive their food first, I had to ask about the status of my order. We discover our order was just sitting there on a side table. No one had announced our order whatsoever. What made the delay even more frustrating was that we had frozen groceries in the car that needed to be taken home. Despite living less than half a mile away, we'll gladly make the longer drive to another Beach Bowls location in the future for better service and a more enjoyable experience.

The Mongolian BBQ is $6.99 per pound and it is self serve so you get to pick exactly what you want. Everything was very clean and I loved the wide variety of options. Once you select your ingredients, they cook it right in front of you. I got one plate spicy and one plate regular and both were absolutely delicious. The noodles were thick and buttery, the sauces were amazing, and everything worked so well together. I also have to mention the service because it was absolutely amazing. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted, walked through the menu, and offered help on how everything works. He let us know everything is made fresh and was genuinely so kind and welcoming. He made my dad and me feel comfortable, welcomed, and even had great conversation with us. Definitely try this place out. I will for sure be back! Absolutely loved it.

My only issue was the noodles tasted a little different than most Mongolian places I go to which is not a major concern, and my other issue was that it was a little pricey. I didn't have a nice tray of food and I did add a order of shrimp but for the whole container to be $24 was a bit high considering I could go to my favorite place and get it for $13 and it's perfect. I will consider going back to this place in the future to give it another try.

We especially love Harry's Berries and Ken's Farm Goods, but honestly there are so many great booths that it is hard to go wrong. The produce is consistently fresh, seasonal, and flavorful, and the vendors are friendly and knowledgeable. It is the kind of market where you end up discovering new favorites every time you visit. Parking does get crowded pretty quickly, so arriving early definitely helps. That said, the attached park more than makes up for it. It is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for walking around, relaxing, or enjoying your market finds afterward. Overall, this farmers market is a gem and a must visit if you are in the area. We keep coming back and it never disappoints.

Wow!!! Recently came here because my friends took me and I was super happy to finally shop here!!!…read moreThis is apparently the largest Japanese market in Gardena (and all of California). It's a very big store that somehow doesn't look as big from the outside, but there are so many things to highlight from here. We were in a city nearby but decided to stop by here because my friends wanted to buy some ingredients. This store was a delight for me as it was so big!!! My favorite section was the many Japanese merchandise of clothes, plushes, and desserts!!! It was super tempting to not buy something haha and I ended up grabbing the box of iconic mango ice cream popsicles!!! It was super yummy and was to my full liking. We ate it straight from the box because we didn't want it to melt in the car ride home. It was super refreshing and delicious. Other highlights was the hot foods bar and lots of Japanese beauty products.

Some are decently priced and some are on the pricier side…read more If you go at 7pm or latter they do mark down the sushi and other premade food by 20% off. The thing that's good about going to Tokyo central for premade sushi is that they make all their sushi fresh daily and what's not sold is marked down and got rid of before next day compared to other markets where they sell their sushi that's like 2-4 days old. They went viral for awhile for having a hot food bar, which looked like a buffet but in reality you grab what you want but it's $15.99 a pound. The pound adds up really quick and you end with paying like $30. The food isn't that great in the hot food bar in my option so I'd skip it. The market itself is very pricey it's not a cheap market. So if your planning on buying grocery your gonna pay high prices. I'd go here for a quick sushi roll or some mochi they sell a bag from Japan for $3.99 with red bean that's pretty good. One of my favorite food item is the umami chicken karage with rice that's pre packaged and if you can snag it while it's still hot that great. Its usually on a separate table on in the refrigerated section, It's the one with some teriyaki sauce over it, not the regular one. As you exit you can grab utensils, napkins, wasabi. ginger, soy sauce. Parking is a hit and miss, it's a popular market if you go there at lunch time it's packed or weekends. Personally I drop by to get a quick bite, sushi roll or chicken karage . They do have a food court that has a Japanese bakery, takoyaki , a katsu place. Upstairs they have a sushi bar which is unique I havnt tried it but seems a bit pricey but looks like quality. Looking for something Japanese in food wise, this would be one of the places to go to look for it. I don't know why it seems like every Asian market I've been to is so cramped and hardly any space when trying to get around with a cart. It's the same here.t

The first time, I purchased Sprouts brand unsweetened almond milk and Sprouts vanilla almond milk, and both had gone sour before their expiration dates. On a separate visit, I purchased a chocolate almond milk from a different brand, and it was also sour as soon as I opened it. In all cases, I refrigerated the products immediately after getting home, so improper storage on my end was not the issue. The fact that this happened with multiple brands and on different shopping trips makes me believe there may be a refrigeration or temperature-control issue at this location. It's hard to see another explanation when products from different manufacturers are experiencing the same problem. This has resulted in approximately $15-$20 worth of product being wasted, which is frustrating and disappointing. Customers should be able to trust that refrigerated items are being stored properly before purchase. Another ongoing issue is the lack of baggers available at checkout. Cashiers are often expected to scan and bag groceries at the same time, which slows down the checkout process and creates longer lines. Considering the premium prices Sprouts charges, I would expect better staffing and a more efficient checkout experience. I hope management looks into both the refrigeration of refrigerated products and the checkout staffing at this location. These are recurring issues that have negatively affected my shopping experience and make me hesitant to purchase refrigerated items here in the future.
