They say February is the month of love. This month desserts were definitely made with love. Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion and this has nothing to do with taste just my preference It's like trying to decide who is your favorite child. We all know the answer but each one has their strengths which make them unique Okay. Enough babbling. When I open the box a light shone from heaven and a chorus of angels began to sing 1. Black Forest Cupcakes: Where do I start. The frosting is delicious and sweet. The cake is moist and melts in your mouth. And the cherry on top literally and figuratively is a real cherry so be careful there is a seed in it. 2. Love Potion No. 9. As I eating this the song Baby you put a spell on me because your mine kept playing in my head. Considered me in love. The tartness with graham cracker came together beautifully 3. Buttercream Sugar Cookie. This was a hard choice. This is probably 2a. This heart shape cookie has a special place in my heart. I imagine my heart now is buttercream sugar cookie. Perfection 4. Red Velvet Cheesecake Bars. The name says it all. Red velvet cake and cheesecake together in edible bite. It goes together like Peanut Butter and Jelly or the sun and moon or like legos. You get the point. Wonderful 5. Chocolate Strawberry Tart: The strawberry jam/jelly with the chocolate heart works in conjunction superbly. It makes you want to get down on knee and ask for another one. 6. Last not because it's not good. Please refer to the disclaimer. The Rasberry Tiramisu Shooter. I was shot by this love arrow. A direct hit to my taste buds. Once again real raspberry, moist white cake and the raspberry filling a chef kiss. I'm excited about March menu and can't wait to eat those delicious sweets.

We used alchemy bake lab for our wedding dessert table. First off the owner Kady is phenomenal. Not only did she take our vision in vibe and taste and make it way beyond our expectations, but she was also fabulous to work with! Second, the desserts OMG! We had everything from red velvet cake balls, tarts, mini cakes, shooters and it was all devoured. The Oreo cookie shooter was a fan favorite along with the most understated but absolutely delicious chocolate cookies. We got compliments upon compliments for the dessert bar and Kady knocked it out of the park.

My husband and I were looking for a dessert vendor for our wedding. We did a tasting with Alchemy Bake Lab and because of the quality, types of desserts, flavors, and the service we decided to book with Alchemy. Their offerings were interesting, beautiful and so delicious. We worked with the team to finalize our choices and a few months before the wedding I wanted to add on a personal 2 tier white cake and asked Kady who was super gracious and wanted to gift it to us. I sent the inspo picture and everything was confirmed for the day of the wedding. Fast forward the day of the wedding - 1. The desserts were super dry, not as good quality as our tasting. 2. Our personal cake ended up being DARK PURPLE. Which was not what I specified to Kady. Okay and that's fine because again like I said Kady was super gracious and was gifting it to us. But when I look at the receipt for the final payment. We were charged for the cake. And at the end of the day I understand they are a company but it wasn't communicated that we were going to pay for it and if I hadn't checked I wouldn't even have known. But on top of that the cake was completely wrong. I emailed Kady and her team requesting a refund and there was no follow up afterwards. I am all for supporting small businesses and wedding vendors who do a phenomenal job. This industry is so inundated and everyone is hustling out there. It's very disappointing and upsetting when what was promised was not delivered.

So walking into Alchemy Bake Lab is nice and clean plus it has the feel and ambiance of a high end dessert shop. The owner and employees were pleasant and welcoming. The desserts all look extraordinary. If you want something sweet it has so many options and they have a $22 option to get two of almost every single dessert. We tried many of the desserts and most of them were great and a couple of them like the Oreo & cream shooter did not please my palate.

These desserts were for my hubby's 50th and daughter's 13th birthday. Everything tasted scrumptious and I'd use them for all my events as a caterer.

We're using Alchemy for our wedding dessert spread. They were much more reasonably-priced than similar options we priced out, and their desserts were much tastier and more creative. The owner met up with us on a Saturday (same day as 4 other tastings) and provided us with 2x each of about 13 or so desserts (1 of each to take home for a second tasting). When asked about some of the other interesting flavors we didn't try, she went and grabbed samples of those as well! Definitely recommend Alchemy for any dessert needs yall have.

I bought 2 small Crème Brûlée, 2-2in. lemon tarts and a vanilla cupcake and it was $31. Not bad had any of them tasted good. Crème Brûlée was very watery and even after refrigerated, they were still bad. Lemon tart???? Where's the lemon? How can you make a bad vanilla cupcake? Ask them. Again, problem wasn't the price, it was the price of what we received. read more

Alchemy Bake Lab is fantastic. They came recommended by my wedding planner and for good reason. They did the dessert bar and small cake at my wedding and it was such a hit and looked beautiful. They were also so easy to work with throughout the process. A year later, for my anniversary, I asked if they could prepare a dessert tray with the same treats we had at the wedding and they delivered! They were so quick to communicate and worked with me to make it happen. Highly recommend them. read more

Absolutely loved my experience with Alchemy! We ordered catering for a baby shower. The menu options are great, the food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful (loved the edible glitter!), and Kady was so wonderful to work with. We had Alchemy create our custom dessert bar for our wedding this last February. This was hands down the most BEAUTIFUL dessert display I've ever seen! More than a month later, our guests are still telling our family and friends how delicious the desserts were- and how creative they were! From the start, Alchemy was the only dessert company that was willing to adapt their current menu to fit our vision for the day, even to the point where they were willing to create new desserts. She was timely and flexible throughout the 2 years we worked with her (especially after we had to delay our wedding the first time with COVID!). Kady was texting us a week after she delivered her BABY to ensure that we had everything finalized down to the tee. She was transparent when supply chain issues or price gauges would effect the price of our desserts. We are so incredibly grateful for the beauty she and her team brought to our day, and we are so excited to keep giving Alchemy our business following our wedding. If you are looking for a whimsical and exquisite addition to your day (or just an order of incredible tarts and cake pops), look no further. They are amazing the owner kady is amazing I've never gotten or even researched custom cakes I'm sure like most we just go down the street and pick up a cake but I wanted to do something special for my gfs birthday and from start to finish kady was amazing! Great products. Great pastry chef. Great ancestral British family learner! But beware of the dog hairs. Shame, because the effort is amazing and well worth it. Especially the British pastries! Ask for the profiteroles/cream puffs with fresh cream instead of the pastry cream. Not sure that's allowed in a non-certified kitchen though! Ok so my job supplied lunch today and the dessert was from Alchemy Bake Lab, rice crispy treats and a raspberry? tart. I was shocked by how delicious both of these treats were! The tart was just what I needed, not overly sweet but great flavor. The crispies had glitter on them! They were also the best rice crispies I've ever had which is random but true! ( i just visited the website and they are called Brown Butter Rice Crispies which explains the deliciousness) Thanks Alchemy Bake Lab for giving an essential worker an extra smile during the pandemic! read more

I cannot express enough how blessed we feel for what Kady did for our wedding this weekend. Everything she did was beautiful and delicious. I wish someone had taken pictures before the guests dug in. I would pay the darn $1 extra if he said it and state the image error BEFOREHAND. Confusing menu and service! I looked at him, and said well, I'll just keep it, and not bother, BUT he gives a mini tantrum and walking away like a frustrated kid. What the heck?! I guess I should apologize if he has some mental issues so please let us know! This guy doesn't know how to communicate. Again, if you have some mental issues, please let us know. Overall I feel he has a distaste in socializing with customers, especially if there is something wrong. I ask the other employees about the issue and feel they are aware of this too. I don't care if he reads this, because this guy clearly needs someone else to take over if he doesn't like to solve issues. I'm not the only one who reviewed about terrible customer service and it's not from the other employees. I'm not the only review about allergies and terrible service about this guy. Don't put that allergy information about "letting us know" if you don't want to offer the service!

As far as the taste, it is also very heavy on the banana side lol there were cheesecake pieces but you really can't taste it bc the banana is absolutely over powering and it almost tastes like its way too sweet- however the consistency is just fine. I also wish they did more layers of cookies. This is just a personal preference though lol I'm sure the banana pudding lovers love this place.

I think the condensed milk was only at the very bottom, so the ice was pretty flavourless for the most part. The mango and strawberries tasted fresh though, especially the mango. We also split a strawberry cream puff, which was light and airy with tasty dough. They have a small selection of board games, and we had a great time playing Ticket to Ride. This was the perfect hangout spot to spend a few hours with friends, and it didn't get too busy even on a Saturday afternoon. It was loud though. I saw they have wifi and a couple of people were working, but I don't think it's a good place to study during peak hours.

I am not a wedding cake kind of bride. I didn't want a giant white cake that would have sat in my freezer most likely until it made its way to the bin. When I found Alchemy Bake Labs I absolutely fell in love with the adorable tiny desserts. The whole process of booking them was very easy, she was fair in pricing and super willing to adjust my invoice as needed. Whenever I reached out Kady was so professional and kind in her communication and I never felt like I had any questions unanswered. Now, the taste...AMAZING. My guests would not leave my desserts alone. We had five choices of mini desserts and they were all sampled and then sampled, and sampled again! We heard such great things from our guests about how much they loved our dessert table. If you are not a wedding cake bride, I highly recommend a mini treat bar. I cannot say enough amazing things about this bakery! I placed a last-minute request for my bridal shower cake, and they not only accommodated it, but they went above and beyond in every way. Specifically sought this bake lab out for their rave reviews and was not disappointed. The lemon tarts were so tarty and sweet, the rice krispy treats were melty butter in my mouth, and the staff... just lovely. THE best ever! Alchemy Bake Lab was referred to me by my wedding venue. As this was a destination wedding for us, I was finding vendors based on referrals and research. Alchemy is hands down amazing.
