Once again, I'm disappointed with the quality of the pre-cooked offerings. I purchased pre-cooked chicken and the chicken legs look more like quail legs. If I were responsible for the quality of food presented at my store, I would be embarrassed to have this on display and much less, actually sell this to loyal customers. I spend thousands at this store and usually, it's a positive experience. The friendly staff and ambiance is very good. If I don't highlight the negative aspects, it will not likely improve. I haven't shopped at Albertsons in years, but I stopped by the power Road store to buy a loaf of organic sourdough bread. Was I disappointed when I got to the bread aisle?. first of all there wasn't a single organic bread. Sourdough or not. Every single bread has all the poisons, the enriched flowers, which of course provides zero nutrition. I looked up who owns the majority of the shares for Albertson and find out the dreaded Kroger brand which of course, largest shareholder is Vanguard and Black rock the people who own everything poisoning all of us.. now the merger hasn't gone through because of antitrust laws, but I don't buy anything at Fry's either because they sell nothing but poison food as well. We patronize this location OFTEN. Today, my husband and I brought our friends in with us, who just purchased a new home. We wanted to buy them the 4 chair patio set for a housewarming gift. The sign said, "Ask for assistance" I saw two employees close by so I politely walked over and I quote, "May I ask you a question?" The young guy named Nate H. said, and I quote, "Unfortunately, yes!" I was taken aback, and immediately said, "I'm sorry, I was just trying to spend $500.00 dollars on this table set!" His response was, and I quote, "I guess you can ask me a question if you're spending $500.00 dollars Luckily, another employee named Charlie was standing there witnessing the WHOLE THING. She immediately took over and did a wonderful job taking care of us! Had it not been for her, we would have walked out. 2 days before I'm due to pick up my Thanksgiving turkey, I check to see what the pulled for me. I asked for a fresh bird, up to 26 pounds. I ordered it 3 weeks ago and told the young man at the counter I need a large bird. I emphasize to him that I need up to 26 pounds and that I'm feeding a lot of people. I went in two days before picking up my turkey to see what size turkey they had for me. The turkey they pulled for me was 11.62 pounds. They offered me a 20 pound frozen turkey in it'splace. I needed a fresh turkey. Do not trust this store for custom meat orders. Go to Chucks Fine Meats, go toSprouts, go anywhere butthis store. You will not get what you ordered. read more

I shopped the N Power store today and got ripped off on half of my "deals". Adds for coke at $11.99 were charged $14.99 because of fine print of delivery only. Pork loin overcharged $2 a # because a half loin was mistaken as "whole" loin. 8 pc chicken $5.99 instead of $4.97 as ad stated and clipped. Ice cream for $1.97 was $4.99 as only a small list was valid even though the sign was placed on the ones I picked and these were on the same end cap. This is ridiculous. I will be shopping elsewhere, I can't afford this place. Trickery and false advertising will catch up to you. Beware and read your receipts. read more

I purchased an aluminum turkey roasting pan last night to cook our Turkey today. While cooking the turkey we noticed the pan had a small hole in out. I left the turkey in the oven and went to customer service at Albertsons and let them know what happened and if I could grab another one as I literally bought it the night before and put it it on the counter over night. She proceeded to ask if I had a receipt which I didn't. Then asked if I had bought it on my app which I didn't. I told her i purchased it with my credit card and used my phone number. Will that help. She began to tell me that's not helpful. After what I felt was a long and frustrating conversation I offered to pay for it as it was under $10. Then she gave me the facials and said she will do it without a receipt just this one time. I get having rules and a process but come on. If my employees ever treated our clients like this i would definitely want to know and train them or move them away from the customer service desk. I'm not sure why she felt necessary to go through all this to just for such a small ask. I have 5 grocery stores within a 2 mile radius. This branch of Albertsons has just been the store by my house for the past 17 years that I don't really think twice about. I have to say, going through the pandemic has really made me stop and appreciate these guys. Grocery shopping went from being a relaxing, mindless task to quite a stressful event. Thanks to the people at this Albertsons, it's become my top choice grocery store. When you enter, you will find a row of carts that have been sanitized for you. (Unlike their nearby competitors who do not do the same.) I appreciate this so much these days! The ladies in the bakery are always friendly and helpful. The majority of the time, you will find a good selection of fresh produce on hand and the meat department is well-stocked too. I've come to know many of the cashiers here. Dave, Taylor and Rose are wonderful but Kieu is just the best. Not only is she fantastic at her job, she is also one of the nicest people around. All of these factors make it worth coming to Albertsons instead of the other nearby choices. read more

This location is terrible with customer service. I went today to buy a few items one of which was 12 packs of soda. Coke and Pepsi are both advertised as Buy 2 get 2 free and nowhere in the ads or in their in store signage did it mention that you could not mix brands. BEFORE I even got a chance to check out the VERY RUDE employee who was working self check out immediately stopped me and told me I could not do that. I went back to the soda isle to make different when I noticed that literally ever soda had a sign that said Buy 2 get 2 free and "mix or match equal or lesser value" I asked for a manager who's name was Charli and she also refused and told me they were different sales. I asked her to show me specifically where it said you couldn't mix brands to which she could not do. I left without buying anything because Fry's ha the same sale this week. However, there is another Albertsons up the road so I decided to go there because there were other sale items I wanted. I bought THE EXACT same soda selection at the location on Power and Broadway and they told me they would need to do the sale manually for me WITHOUT me even asking for it. They are much friendlier at that location and understood there was no way a customer would know about the sale seperation since it was NOT specified anywhere! read more

This was the first time I've shopped at Albertson's in long time! I used to think their prices were a bit higher than competitors, but it seems to be perfectly aligned with other entities, now. I downloaded the app & easily placed an order online for everything I needed to be picked up the following day (rarely can you get same-day for pickup). This store seemed to be able to fulfill my order quicker than others, and at a location I prefer. Nothing was out of stock, just a few items were replaced with a different brand since the store brand was out of stock- no biggie! I called the number on the sign when I parked in the designated spot. Less than 5 minutes, and an attendant was out there with another employee toting the groceries- I didn't even have to get out of my car! I believe it was a manager who was helping me, and he was very professional. Both him & the gentleman with my cart full were wearing masks. I was instructed to pop my trunk, he asked for my drivers license (I ordered alcohol) & took the info down before having me sign the pickup slip, handed me my receipt & I was on my way! (Oh, besides the fact I accidentally popped my hood instead of my trunk. LOL! He was so kind as to make sure my hood was secured so I still didn't have to get out of my vehicle during the entire interaction- 5 stars on his part for the awesome customer service!!!) The reason I docked a star- the groceries were bagged pretty poorly. Some bags were near empty with 1 item while others were overflowing & items compromised. And, they were not placed well when they loaded my trunk. I ended up having to fish out the roll-away bottles & cans that flew all over during transport home. That would have been bad news had there been eggs in my order! And, I pointed out how there was a patron parked in the reserved spot for pickup that was clearly inside shopping, therefore blocking a reserved spot dedicated to someone such as myself who needed to use it for the quick pickup... he brushed my comment off as if it didn't matter. Luckily there was another reserved spot open, otherwise it would have prevented the pickup, and I think he should have taken the plate number down & announced over the intercom to inform the person responsible that isn't okay. So, overall, this was a breeze & I'm very pleased with this location. I'll definitely continue to shop here wether it be pickup or actually going in. They have everything you'd need on a basic grocery trip, and the customer service is quite decent for the most part. I was handed a copy of my receipt, but it was also emailed to me. I appreciated the text notifications when my order was ready, as well. They've made the process very easy during a pandemic when we really don't want to be going out & about or around others if it can be avoided! read more

It's a good grocery store what can I say. Lots to choose from delis pretty good the meat section is nice butcher seems to be efficient and knows how to cook good slices. Big fan of their Seafood just surprised that the tank exploded the day that I was there. Can't go wrong with Albertsons definitely check them out when you get a chance. read more

So I was super happy when I was here in Arizona and I actually found this location. It is definitely one of the better grocery stores that they have. I have been a tons of grocery stores in my life and this one is really really good. I love the fact that the cashiers are always super helpful and always willing to help you if you do need a little bit of assistance. The candy that they have right in front of the register is a big plus. I mean most grocery stores do have that but the candy selection that they have at this Albertsons location is definitely one that I've never seen before. I've missed this store since moving away! Was in recently to pick up flowers for a friend and remembered why this was always my #1 choice for seafood and meat....bakery and floral! Their USDA Choice meats are exceptional and the butchers there were always- and still are- incredibly smart and willing to share their tips. I've tried to use the AP when I shop at the Albertson's in Queen Creek, but somehow just couldn't get it together to make it work. I had given up. Then when I stopped in unexpectedly recently, I thought I'd give the AP another try. It was incredibly frustrating. While I was thinking what an idiot I am with anything 'techno' a beautiful young lady (I think she is a bagger?) walked over and offered to help. She was AMAZING! Thank you Charlize for getting my AP going, but even more for how incredibly kind and patient you were. I'll never forget how sweet you were while you explained the AP and made sure I could use it. The bakery at "MY Store" is absolutely fabulous! I did not know you can bring in a picture and they can scan immediately on to rice paper for any cake decoration. We were creating a custom cake and we inquired if they could scan a picture and they said, YES! I thought it would take a day or two but it's immediately...took less than 10 mins for the whole process. Best idea since slice bread! read more

I wanted to leave a review for the Albertsons floral department. My son got married this past weekend and we had three days of Celebration. The rehearsal dinner which the floral department at Albertson's made beautiful red roses for centerpieces for all six tables and a beautiful wedding bouquet for my son's soon-to-be wife for their Vietnamese Tea Ceremony! All fresh and beautifully done! I would highly recommend Albertsons floral department to my friends and family with no trepidation. And I think the prices are very reasonable too. Ok I used to be a Fry's loyalist but Albertsons won me over. This food store is very close to my house and it's clean and well-managed. Prices are decent. The bakery.... oh yeah so yummy. Employees seem happy and helpful and content. And um ... can you say WING BAR? That's right a MFing WING BAR. 6 types of fully cooked and prepared wings ready to eat. They have a redbox in there. Ice. Specials of various items on the regular. No self-checkout yet, but let's hope that is coming. It's a decent store, this part of town is nice, not too many feral free-range unruly children running around either. I find this store pleasant and calming. read more

Wanted to buy the special they had at the meat department, could not find a meat employee, had to go look for a person to find one. This is a nice store with friendly employees, the reason for one star is their app. I've written to corporate to say how awful it is. I was told it would be passed on. You can't figure out your savings on some items the way it comes up on receipt, you have to click items two times to get the sale price, it's awful!!!! People check your receipts, you have overpaid I'm sure if you used the app. I shopped yesterday and went thru receipt and over paid by over $20! Now I have to go back and show them to get reimbursed. Why can't the app be that just put your number in and that's it, no more clicking. I'm going to have to stop shopping there or only buy like 2 items at a time to make sure I get my savings. read more

My go to store for meat. Most places, including the nice looking supermarkets carry USDA Select. Albertsons uses USDA Choice. The selection on can goods is subpar but just based on the quality of their meat they deserve five stars. read more

I moved from SL and was happy to see Albertsons here. I will never go back to this store. The customer service was so bad. I was looking for butter milk. I asked a man who was stalking , if he could help me find it. His response was good luck! I said will you find someone to help. He mumbled and called, and noone answered. He looked in the back and said I dont think we sell it I cant get hold of anyone. I got to the front, asked the cashier if she could get hold of grocery. her response was "what do you want" I said I was looking for buttermilk. She said we dont carry it. I said there is a shelf with a tag. and just then a young man off duty told her. it was there yesterday. She said well a month ago we did not sell it. I've tried all the others close by, Safeway, Basha's, Fry's, Walmart - when I go there I always end up having to go to Albertson's to get what the other stores didn't have in stock! This is my grocery store. Friendly staff, good sales, decent produce, good bakery with tasty carrot cake made by a friendly German lady; no fresh bagels though. I do 85% of my shopping here. Monday deli fried chicken deal is great, as long as the chicken hasn't been sitting out too long. I ask and request fresh chicken now after having been burned twice with dried up chicken that sat too long. WARNING: if you are going to buy alcohol, do not bring your teenage kids in line with you. I witnessed a cashier refusing to sell a 6-pack of beer to a well dressed middle aged man because his daughter was with him in line and she didn't have her ID. I heard the whole story, the guy was understandably upset, who happened to pick up his ASU daughter from the gym on the way home from work at the end of the day. This sounded completely ridiculous to me and unfortunately for this guy, common sense didn't prevail that day. read more

They people who work their are great! Very friendly and some of them actually remember you! They lack in their fruit (berries especially) where Basha's across the street always has what I am looking for. Their meats are great but not amazing. The Safeway down at McKellips has better fish in everything except the crab legs and salmon. I love that Albertsons no longer requires a savings card!!! read more
