This place is an institution of its kind. When you have the urge of carne asada fries at midnight, no other place to go but here!

Bacon, egg, potato and cheese breakfast burrito.

No, no, no! I just had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was an absolute fail. The eggs were over cooked and the bacon was overcooked also. The bacon was so over cooked that it just pulverized with every bite and had no flavor. The reason I would still recommend is because the service is great and the dinner options are good. Having a drive thru makes this spot great. I know the breakfast burrito can be improved and I can't wait until that day comes.

First time trying this place and it was a positive experience! The portion size was huge and the price reasonable - will definitely return ! Slightly larger salsa containers wouldve made it perfect !

Been coming to Alberto's since my college days, usually after a night out with friends, and it still hits the same every time. Their asada super fries are my go-to! Big portions, loaded, and perfect when you're craving something late at night. Every visit low-key brings back good memories. Solid spot, good food, and always comes through when you need it.

Want good Mexican food that's open late? Alberto's is my go to! Food: 5/5 I got their carne asada nachos and carne asada burrito. It's delicious and super filling. The chili verde has a great kick but not too spicy. Service: 5/5 They usually have a line in the drive thru but still pretty quick. Ambiance: 5/5 They're open 24 hours, great for late night drunkchies.

Been going here since I can remember, will forever be my go to Alberto's. And yes, the food is amazing, just try it for yourself.

Coming here is a 50/50 shot, If this costs 20 bucks then the fries have to at least not be refried, the other ingredients were fine even though I don't like to get it with the beans. The fries actually tasted really bad and even if you have the munchies you cannot tolerate fries that taste like they've been refried at least twice.

This place is just okay. Nothing special to talk about. When I left the place, I think the guy short change me $.50 cents. On top of that, they don't give you a receipt. Small parking lot in the back.

Deborah, the owner, is incredible and truly passionate about sharing Oaxacan cuisine the right way. You can feel that intention in every dish. The guacamole is fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced--simple ingredients, done right. Their Oaxacan horchata deserves special recognition: lighter, more nuanced, and less cloying than the typical version, with a flavor profile that feels thoughtful and refreshing rather than overly sweet. This was also my first time trying chapulines, and it couldn't have been a better introduction. Knowing they're sourced directly from Oaxaca adds so much meaning to the experience. Earthy, savory, and surprisingly approachable--an authentic taste of regional tradition that you don't find easily. El Ruizenor Grill isn't just a restaurant--it's a cultural experience. If you appreciate food with history, integrity, and soul, this spot in Temple City is a must-visit. I'll absolutely be back.

The only bad thing was that it tasted more like a can of tomato sauce. It wasnt spicy at all. Very bland. The chilequiles with rice and beans were good except that the cook made my eggs well done instead of sunny side up. They looked like pancakes on the bottom of the egg. Anyways, loved tge chumpurado. The best I've had in a long time. They serve it in a cute coffee mug. Overall, not bad. I may go back for the presentation and price
