We called for a leaky drain under our sink. We've been using this company for 31 years. They are always fast and local. Staff have always been polite and helpful. Thought the pricing was a bit much. We paid $125 for a service call and the gentleman told me it was out garbage disposal seal. He recommended a disposal so I bought it and he came out a few days later to install it for another $225. Normally my husband would install it himself, but he couldn't this time. My husband was told it cost more because he had to install the top of the sink hole. I'm very disappointed in Albano's Plumbing. I've used them on occasion for over a year and they have been very responsive in the past. I don't know if something changed but the last couple of times we used them at our apartment building the drains have not been getting cleared. When I called them back to ask them to go back out, they charged me again full price, just after a couple of days in some cases. At first I thought maybe I have a drain problem that needs to be replaced in unit 1 until the second line to the laundry room was not cleared. I called them twice and nobody picked up (2 days in a row), so I left voice messages both times and no one ever returned my calls. I ended up getting our handyman out to clear the drain and I was told they went to the wrong clean-out. And it appears that someone damaged the stucco right where the drain was snaked by them (coincidence?). For a while they had these nice ladies who took calls from customers and they were always very responsive, but the last two times I got voice mails. I spent over a $1,000 with them within a month and couldn't get a call back. Very sad and I won't be using them again. read more

I had a small issue with the kitchen sink, water was going down very slow, so the sink would fill up , and the garbage disposal wouldn't work. It smelled bad pretty sure there was food stuck but I don't know my way around with the type of work. So I called Albano's plumbing that I found on google, told them about my situation, and they were able to come by within the hour . This guy named Kevin was very helpful, it was a quick and easy fix ( if you know what you're doing ) and even showed me what to look and how to fix in the same scenario. From beginning to end of the service they were educational, professional, and the quality of their work was phenomenal. My apartment had a massive plumbing issue and the other company my landlord tried gave us a ridiculously high quote and the wait time was insane. However when I called Albano's their team was extremely responsive. I really appreciated how they were able to respond so quickly and were super transparent about their pricing. As a woman having people in your home is always frightening but the team that came out of was so friendly and professional I hardly even noticed them. I work in property management and I deal with vendors day in & day out and honestly everyone one is busy and usually busy equals grumpy! The phone quote for the work was $350. However, the quote provided at the time of service increased to $595 for a job that took about 2 hours. I was not worried about the price, at the time, as they reviewed the job and were better able to quote the service at the location. The plumber was scheduled and arrived on time. They had a large hydro jet machine to address the issue. Suggestions were provided to prevent future occurrences. 30 Day warranty was provided. My concern, that I communicated to the plumber was: 1) The mess left behind after hydro jetting that was not cleaned up. I called the office and they sent the plumbers back to cleanup the mess. I would suggest they carry their own brooms & dust bins (and not borrow mine). From the plumbers response he said "we are not cleaners." But professionally I would assume cleaning the environment is part of the job after causing the mess. 2) The area drain still had a layer of mud in the drain line. When I stuck my hand down the drain I could feel about 1/4" of mud still laying there. I pulled out the mud in front of the plumber. I am assuming that the layer of mud would continue throughout the line and during the next rain I could expect a backup. His response was that there will always be the layer of mud and no remedy to clean the line again was provided. This makes me feel the job was not completely finished and the additional $200 I paid may be too much. read more

I have used Albano for the last 20 years, and I was always happy with the service. Recently my sink was leaking, nobody knew for sure how much work needed to be done but I sort of guess that the work could be simple too. The gentleman came in with a quote of $1,800 for the leak and reconnecting the garbage disposal. Garbage disposable piping had nothing to do with the leak. He insisted the quote was the minimum. In case he had to dig the ground to fix the leak the fee could be more than $1,800. Garbage disposable work can't take more than 1 hour. I hired another company for $350 for fixing the leak - only the leak without garbage disposable works. I was very disappointed with Albano. read more
