We had water coming up from our kitchen sink whenever we turned our laundry machine on and it drained. We had another company come out initially and snake the cleaning but only went 50ft and the issue was unresolved. They said they need to come back and look through main line with camera and then go from there. And the sewage line is backing up and supposedly there could be a crack or roots rotting the pipe which made no sense. Called Chavez Plumbing for 2nd opinion & Gabriel went in with a 75ft snake and cleared the problem. And they gave us 30day warranty and if it comes back recommended to do the hydro jet and the $ we spent doing the snake would go towards that which is nice. read more

Avoid this company! We chose this company because of all their good Google and Yelp reviews, but now I have to imagine they aren't real, because from our experience, the folks from the company are dishonest and unable to complete the jobs they say they will. After arriving, they tried to act like we had a catastrophic plumbing problem on our hands when we had called them for a maintenance project. They put the pressure on that we needed to act immediately and pay them thousands of dollars to resolve the problem. They tried to use every scare tactic in the books. It didn't pass the smell test, so we had a different plumber come the very next day, who completed the maintenance job with the appropriate equipment that Chavez apparently didn't have, and while there was some truth to the need for additional repairs, the need wasn't immediate or catastrophic. They were just trying to scare us into spending a ton more money with them by creating a sense of false urgency. The new plumber showed us evidence that some of the things the folks from Chavez were saying were obviously false and only meant to scare us. Their pressure tactics have led to them losing our trust and business. read more

I previously gave a stellar review to this company based on service and price. I'm forced to change Two weeks ago I had them out for the third time in ten months. They came out and assessed the job and let me know it would be $225. I hesitated and mentioned that seemed very high, but based on prior service, I agreed to let them proceed. I assumed it must be more involved than it seemed. 19 minutes later they called back to tell me the job was done. $225 for 19 minutes of work. (yes, it was 19 minutes, I checked my phone log). I told him that rate was outrageous, that I would pay because we had agreed, but I wouldn't be using them again. They gave me $25 off.
