I truly believe they care for their patients and do their absolute best to get you back doing what you love. The staff is one of the best that I've ever had to deal with, they provide a warm and welcoming smiles and a positive atmosphere which is crucial for recovery. I personally want to say thank you for being such a God sent. I would absolute recommend them to anyone who's looking for a positive outcome.

Now, as a combat veteran with disability (PTSD) and having a service animal, came to get service at this clinic for unrelated treatment. When it was my turn and my name was called by one of the treatment staff, I felt disrespected by this individual (James) that approached me on my appointment day at this clinic and had the audacity to ask me if I have a certificate for my service animal. Although, we have been in this clinic before, and no one cares about it. This individual must know that PTSD is not a sign of weakness it is a sign of Absolute Strength, PTSD is earned by doing what others Fear. So, to answer this ignorant staff member (James) question the answer is: No, a service animal does not need to be certified, registered, or licensed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States. What the Law Requires *No official paperwork: The federal government has no official test, registry, certification, or ID card for service animals. *No professional training mandate: Owners are legally allowed to train their own service animals. *No gear requirements: Service animals do not have to wear a special vest, cape, tag, or ID badge. *Task requirement: The animal must be individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Online Certifications and Scams *No legal weight: Many websites sell online "service dog registrations" or certificates, but the Department of Justice does not recognize them. *Not allowed as proof: Businesses and public places cannot legally demand certification, ID cards, or special proof as a condition of entry. Allowed Questions If it is not obvious what service an animal provides, staff in public places are only allowed to ask two questions: 1. Is the animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

I've seen Umair twice now for stretching, and he is incredible. He's professional, knowledgeable, and somehow knows exactly how to move and stretch my shoulders and arms in the most effective way. The relief is real. What I appreciate most is that he also gives me practical techniques to do at home between visits which makes such a difference in my day-to-day work behind the chair. Today was my first visit with Dr. Moninder Chana for acupuncture, and we added red light therapy and cupping. She took the time to really understand my body and what I need. Her professionalism and attentiveness made me feel completely at ease. I walked out feeling supported, aligned, and deeply cared for. The front desk team was warm, accommodating, and welcoming the whole experience feels intentional and calming from the moment you walk in. Ritual is such a gift to Vallejo. I'm so thankful to have found my new home for self-care. Thank you, Ritual.

Dr. Centeno performed surgery on my shoulder to fix my labrum and remove a bone spur from my rotator cuff. Everything about the surgery - office pre-op, the surgery, post-op and the. physical therapy was excellent. Dr. Centeno and his staff made me feel very comfortable and explained every step so I would know exactly what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Centeno. My shoulder is stronger than ever!

Yelp needs a zero stars rating. Setting the appointment was…read morenothing short of a nightmare. It's standard to get X-rays before the appointment. They assume you know this. They don't ask if you already have X-rays. If they return a call, one person says, "hey it's me". If you return someoneo call, and tell the person, FOUR times, the name of the person you are calling for, she says, "I need to find out who called you". I witnessed a nurse giving pre-op and post-op surgical instructions in the waiting room! I know what pain meds his insurance will cover pre-surgery, they will give him something after surgery and immobilize his arm. He can use his current PT or a new one after surgery. This is all a HIPAA violation. There were 5 people in the waiting room who witnessed this interaction. I have severe medical anxiety due to medical trauma and supply a FULL, typed medicial history and ways to lessen my anxiety during the visit. It states to "read entirely before engaging patient". Nurse taking my BP missed the memo. She tried asking about allergies. Referred her to my paperwork. She asked another question; same response. She spoke to me during my BP reading (not supposed to). Met with the doctor. Went as well as expected. His attitude was apparent and he had no intention of assisting me. He can't understand a frustrated tone. He was more interested in chastising a patient in pain. If it didn't involve invasive procedures, he refers you back to your primary. I walked out angry and upset. Unprofessional office. I recommend avoiding this provider like the plague.

The receptionist spent a lot of time trying to get me some resources. Of course, that was the extent of what she was authorized to do, and the only resources out there are sheets of paper for your mess that have outdated phone numbers and some phone numbers that lead you to the runaround, but I'm completely used to that. The point is, she tried to help me and she is a kind person, and sometimes that's exactly what you need. I wish there was some help out there, because spending all this time on the phone talking to incompetent people who work for broken agencies in a corrupt bureaucracy is not exactly what I call therapeutic. But that is not the fault of any podiatry office, now, is it?

She did my bunion surgery a couple of years ago and my foot has felt great ever since. She explained my problem very thoroughly and wasn't pushy with surgery, though nothing helped to relieve my pain until I had the surgery. I can tell when it's going to rain because I get some aches from the screws, which apparently is common, but it's not bad enough to go through with another surgery to remove it. Now I take my mom to see Dr. Shanks to have her nails cut, since she's diabetic. Her staff has been good for the most part. I guess she recently moved offices so I don't really know the office staff that well, but they all seem nice.

I've always been accustomed to seeing Western Medicine Doctors. Unfortunately, in the last few years I've found myself being prescribed many pain medications and tons of others drugs that basically masked my pains. I had been very apprehensive about trying acupunture just because my experience with western medicine and had lost faith and trust in doctors. It took my daughter months to convince me to go in. Eventually I agreed to give it a try. She scheduled an appointment for me and I'm so thankful she did. It's been over 2 years since my first visit and my life has never been the same. Dr. Shawne is a miracle worker. Her knowledge and healing abilities have been life changing. She has been able to give me back my life. I no longer take any pain meds and only addicted to coming in weekly, yes weekly. I always feel calm, relaxed and my chronic pain is minimal when I leave this office. With my conditions, it is imperative that I continue my treatments weekly to control my symptoms which is unfortunately caused by a bad neck and back. Surgery is just not an option I'd elect to have. I highly recommend you give this office a try. The staff at Pivot Acupuncture is amazing, always friendly and professional. If I could give them 100 stars I would!!!
