Yelp needs a zero stars rating. Setting the appointment was…read morenothing short of a nightmare. It's standard to get X-rays before the appointment. They assume you know this. They don't ask if you already have X-rays. If they return a call, one person says, "hey it's me". If you return someoneo call, and tell the person, FOUR times, the name of the person you are calling for, she says, "I need to find out who called you". I witnessed a nurse giving pre-op and post-op surgical instructions in the waiting room! I know what pain meds his insurance will cover pre-surgery, they will give him something after surgery and immobilize his arm. He can use his current PT or a new one after surgery. This is all a HIPAA violation. There were 5 people in the waiting room who witnessed this interaction. I have severe medical anxiety due to medical trauma and supply a FULL, typed medicial history and ways to lessen my anxiety during the visit. It states to "read entirely before engaging patient". Nurse taking my BP missed the memo. She tried asking about allergies. Referred her to my paperwork. She asked another question; same response. She spoke to me during my BP reading (not supposed to). Met with the doctor. Went as well as expected. His attitude was apparent and he had no intention of assisting me. He can't understand a frustrated tone. He was more interested in chastising a patient in pain. If it didn't involve invasive procedures, he refers you back to your primary. I walked out angry and upset. Unprofessional office. I recommend avoiding this provider like the plague.

This is a BUSY practice with only two ortho docs so sometimes it is difficult to always see Dr. Centeno ( there are competent physician assistants) but with planning ahead it can be done.

A friend of the family recently stayed at Windsor Care Center and I have heard nothing but…read morewonderful things. The staff are extremely friendly and compassionate. Good food, friendly roommates, and awesome activities while she was there. This stay was for a brief rehabilitation of a broken ankle, her physical therapist was the highlight of her stay. She had nothing but amazing things to say about her. She was supposed to be there for 30 days and left in 14 days because she met all of her goals. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends!

I will preface this with , do not place anyone you love at Solano Post Acute aka Windsor (make sure…read moreto search yelp for that name because they are still receiving reviews under Windsor Vallejo Care Center) My grandfather was at Solano Post Acute for 90 days following a stroke. He was to be getting physical therapy and care. Instead he got neglect and abuse. I had to be there every single day/multiple times a day to make sure he had his water refreshed (50+ times), make sure he got his soiled diapers and bedding changed, & make sure that his food & drink were in arms reach. Most times that I showed up to visit my grandpa he would be laying in a soiled diaper and soaked sheet. I would have to physically go out and find a CNA to clean him up because the response times on the call lights are little to none. Speaking of call lights, a lot of times when I went to visit my grandpa... the call button was on the floor out of his reach. My grandpa and his neighbor both told me that staff takes away their call buttons. If this neglect wasn't bad enough, the night before Father's Day my 77 yo bed bound grandfather was punched in the face 4 times in one instance by a fully mobile 60 yo resident while under the "care" of Solano Post Acute. Solano Post Acute "cares" so much that they didn't even notice this attack occurred. Supposedly no one knew a thing. Guess who brought the attack to staffs attention after entering my grandfathers room and being greeted by a black eye with a gash? ME! I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Nurses quickly rushed to my grandpas bedside and started a strange line of questioning. The attacker wasn't present at the time and the nurses were struggling to figure out what happened. When the ball got passed from Nursing to the Administrator a couple days later, he told me that the attacker denied the allegation and there is nothing else that could be done because my grandpa doesn't fully remember the attack. Well we now know that to not be true because the facility was violated as a result of the complaint that I made to the department of Public Health regarding this incident. The attacker admitted to the investigator that he hit my grandpa 4 times and he said that he also admitted that to the Administrator & Vallejo Police days prior. I'm not sure why he wasn't arrested or removed from the facility, but he was still in the facility(different room) for atleast 18 days after the attack. As soon as the violation was given to the facility... the attacker was gone in the wind. Do not let the remodel and name change fool you. Please please please do not send anyone you love here! Our elderly deserve way better care and concern than what Solano Post Acute is giving out.

Try shutting your mouth and try actually listening to your patients!!!…read moreTwo questions, and I'm interrupted, and basically blown off. When trying to speak to yet another Orthopedic surgeon, who isn't interested in putting forth their best and the patient starts to say "I can't walk"... and that orthopedic surgeon interrupts to say " No, I saw you walk" Bro..THATS THE END OF THE CONVERSATION!!!! if you think hobbling from downstairs, in pain with every step IS WALKING, you need some serious soul searching. I took maybe two dozen steps from the garage to the "providers" office. Yep folks, according to this "provider" THAT CONSTITUTES WALKING. A huge (size of Texas) red flag. Yet another minimizing, denying, apathetic, argumentative surgeon washing his hands of any care. AND who doesn't care enough to even let a patient finish a sentence. SMH. Just like the rest of them. I can say one thing, he is just as bad or as good as his contemporaries. That's not a good thing. Your perception will depend on if you are a patient desperate for help or not. Absolute waste of time and energy and half a tank of gas. Argued about dates of procedures, that's called gaslighting, I refuse to go down that road... so I just claimed to be stupid about the dates. When I have jumped through all the hoops in getting x-rays and when the film isn't sent, and I show him x-rays from after my last surgery which are on my phone, WITH THE DATE CLEARLY SHOWN...he had no thanks, just handed the phone back. YOU'RE WELCOME!! IMHO Arrogance is deep here and can be deadly in this profession, this surgeon is no different than every other surgeon I have dealt with in the past 5 years. (except two). So yes, I have a personal experience baseline of care, compassion and it's not here. When a patient tells you they are experiencing WORSENING SYSTEMIC REACTIONS to an implant, and you start your pathetic bs, it's telling.
