Since 2006 my husband has had a series of shoulder replacement (partial to full), torn meniscus (both knees), cyst on the knee and provided an exceptional to a hand specialist for a torn ligament recently. The office called recently to check on the status of the knee cyst, just because. Who does that anymore? Quite frankly, we would not trust anyone else. We have sent many friends their way and overall, the experience is positive. Unlike some offices where you have to wait months to get in, you are always able to get an appointment in a timely way. The office is located in the Shadelands where there is ample free parking. While in the office, be sure to check out the sports photos.

It upset me tremendously watching the 2 girls on the left treating him as if he should be able to handle the tasks without any dignity. We will all be old some day and staff should learn BASIC manners in handling clients.

Dr Ochoa is no longer there…read more I did not get the email that the phone operator stated that they sent. No, nothing was sent to me. So, the poor operator was lied to by their upper management. I feel so sorry for her to have to deliver such news, with no notice to the patient. Their website states he is still there. So I waited all weekend instead of going to the ER/ED. I then was told he was gone. But get this, their website AND phone message states they have Urgent Walk-in Clinic. So, another reason I waited, to go on Monday. But NOPE, THEY CLOSED THIS TOO. BUT STILL ON THEIR WEBSITE. Maybe while you're cancelling doctors, you also get your web team to make the correct changes on your website so people don't delay treatment thinking they are going to see their doctor, or be able to go to Urgent Care. And if this is how they manage their office, imagine how they handle their surguries or injections!! My guess is if their CEO, Steven Hammarstrom, cannot run the practice correctly, you don't want who they hired to touch your body. Stay away. Now I am needing injections, and I have no where to go, no doctor to oversee me. This is a blatant lack of care, and if the CEO is a Doctor, he should be ashamed of himself; Steve Hammarstrom I am talking directly to you!

We came to Dr. Shah for Hyaluronic Acid injections, and the results exceeded our wildest expectations. After decades of dealing with pain in both knees, my mom is finally pain-free. Dr. Shah was not only highly skilled and professional but also incredibly compassionate. She took the time to explain the procedure and made sure my mom was comfortable throughout. The difference is night and day--my mom is now walking without pain for the first time in many years. If you are looking for an doctor who truly cares and delivers results, look no further than Dr. Shah. I also want to extend a huge thank you to Michael, Hazel and the entire staff for being so warm, welcoming, and efficient during our visits. From the front desk to the medical assistants, the entire team made my mom feel comfortable and cared for from the moment we walked in.

I had rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Timmerman a week ago. From what I understand, the tear…read morewas fairly substantial, and it was not automatic that surgery would be able to repair it. Also, from what I understand, including the pictures she showed me, she was successful in reattaching it. Without being an expert on these things, it still seems to me that Dr. Timmerman is an experienced and skilled surgeon. That, of course, is by far and away the most important thing in looking for a surgeon. The reason I am not giving her an unreserved five star rating is the following: In our postoperative visit one week after the surgery, I felt Dr. Timmerman was very rushed. She showed me pictures of the shoulder and the surgery, which I appreciated, but kind of rushed through her explanation of what the pictures represent. As somebody who has zero knowledge or understanding of such things, I really did not understand it all and did not feel comfortable to ask her to repeat her explanations. Nor did she really take time to just sit down and say, "OK, how are you feeling? How is everything ?" I did not come away feeling clear on what I can and cannot do during the entire three months of my recovery period, nor on what the prognosis is for a fairly full recovery of the use of my shoulder. The whole appointment was maybe five minutes and I was asking her questions as she literally had 1 foot out the door of the room. Now I understand that doctors can be very busy, but I really do feel like they have to make time to create an atmosphere in which a patient can feel comfortable asking questions. After all, the recovery period is important. I am not sure how to say this: I appreciate the experience and apparent skill that Dr. Timmerman brings to the table. But as just some older guy who just wants to live out his remaining years being comfortable, active, and as productive as he can, I have to wonder if in the field of sports medicine us older people are sufficiently recognized for who we are.

I left frustrated and forgot the MRI disc. I went back and thought that I might as well try and talk to her and if she couldn't see me then, to make another appointment. The receptionist reluctantly went to ask and Dr. Timmerman yelled that I had told her that my leg hurt 7 times and that she could not address it. I have never had a doctor tell me I need surgery and refuse to answer questions. According to the other reviews, she seems to be a good surgeon, but her patient care has a lot to be desired. If you are okay with blindly letting a surgeon cut into you, this is the doctor for you. If you want information about the process or even alternatives, don't bother going in for an appointment.

I also shared that I'm a busy mom and don't have a lot of extra time for long rehab routines, and he completely got it. He gave me simple, effective exercises I could realistically stick to, while actively working on rehabbing my shoulder.
