I've been to the OTR Aladdin's location before, but this was my first time I had the Hyde Park Location. When I dropped by, I was quickly greeted and taken to a booth. The restaurant wasn't too crowded during the lunch out (during the week). I ordered "Aladdin's Favorite Combo." The dish consists of: Beef Kafta, Shish Kabob, and Shish Tawook on a bed of seasoned brown rice with vermicelli, served with greens, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and choice of dressing. Everything was pretty good, except the rice which was a little bland. I started with the hummus, which was great. I would recommend asking for the garlic and hot sauces on the side as well to kick it up a bit. The prices are pretty reasonable and you can sample a decent amount of food for not too much money. This definitely won't be my last trip to Aladdin's! read more

The service is wonderful. I ordered the lamb again based on the chef's recommendations, but in a roll instead of a platter. Once again I wasn't a fan. This time it was juicy and flavorful instead of dry, but it was very chewy. I may not be a fan of the cut of lam they choose to use. Next, time I will stay away from the lamb and try something else. Aside from the lamb, the ingredients tasted fresh. The hummus was creamy, well seasoned and I loved that they served thin pitas instead of thick. Once I go again I will update this review. I hope I have better luck with a different meat option since I've been told by friends and co-workers that they love this restaurant and the food is one of the best in Cincinnati. I encourage you to visit. This restaurant has a cleanly and friendly atmosphere and they are also honoring a 10% off yelp coupon. read more

I've already written a review of the West Chester location but might as well show my dedication to Aladdin's by reviewing this location as well. Had a great experience here for a late lunch. My fiancé is a huge fan of Mediterranean food and found this location on Yelp as we were driving by the area one day. I was hoping it was the same as the West Chester location and lo and behold, it was. We started out with the items that I know are awesome, hummus and baba ganouj. Definitely one of my favorite baba ganouj dishes I have had. I love the garlic sauce and the hot sauce mixed in as well. For the main dish, I got the Tuna Shawarma Rolled. I learned from last time to ask for the tuna to not be cooked as much (medium instead of well done), and it was PERFECT. Dessert was a hard decision but I think we made the right one: Black Forest Cake. Though I wish there was a little more cherry in this cake (never enough!) It's great with some tea to finish off your meal. Definitely love how consistent the food and the service is here! read more

Yum! I've never had anything I don't like at Aladdin's! Their salads are delicious. Their entrées are delicious. The hummus is great, and they always give you A TON of it with plenty of pita. I enjoy dipping the pickled vegetables into the hummus as well. I can't wait to eat there again! read more

This restaurant in the Hyde Park vicinity of Rookwood Commons has never let me down. Their dining room is large but has a dividers that create some intimate space. The servers have always been very helpful and friendly. I recommend eating anything you're in the mood for. Being vegan I can always find a dish I want, but staff will help you figure something out if you do have special requests, and the kitchen is very accommodating. I am usually hungry for pita, falafel, hummus, dolmas and Jasmine's favorite rice topped with Lebanese Salata! read more

We came for dinner with our son. I thought we were just going to stand there and never get seated - servers just kept walking past us. They are know for their hummus and pita so we got it with the side of veggies appetizer. There is too much oil in the hummus and the pita was served cold. It seemed like it is been sitting out for a while. My son got the Arayiss Pitza with feta cheese. He thoroughly enjoyed it and had leftovers to take home. My husband got the Mediterranean lamb plate. It had a lot of food, which was good since he was hungry. The lamb was over cooked so the tzaziki sauce helped. I got the Baba Falafel roll. It wasn't hot and it seemed to have just been warmed up for me. You can tell from the wrapper it is served in and it is marked on the outside what is inside - like going to a fast food restaurant. It was dry so I used the hummus to help. I had shown the waiter a 10% off gift card (on my phone) when we sat down. He said it would be taken off. When we finished, my husband said it wasn't taken off - he said let's just go. They need to step in their game. read more

The atmosphere is pretty average but nice enough. The place overall feels like a weird hybrid between fast food and a sit down resturant. Overall not real impressed. Food wasn't that good. read more

I live in an area of Florida that has a lot of Mediterranean and Greek food. When my brother suggested we try Aladdin's, I was excited but I didn't expect much. We noticed that they had a spicy cauliflower appetizer and decided to split it. It consisted of cauliflower dusted in seasoning, fried and topped with a white sauce (tzatziki I believe). It was incredible! Neither of us found it spicy, but we both have a high heat tolerance. We didn't care because it was so flavorful. I will definitely order this again if I return. For our entrees, I had the Greek Chicken Salad. It had banana peppers, calamata olives, pickled radish (surprisingly delicious), feta, and grilled chicken with an oil mixture that is the house dressing. It was amazing. My Brother also enjoyed his Flavor Savor entree. It was his first time trying kafta and it blew him away. I tried a little of his hummus and it was on point. I also recommend their hot sauce and garlic sauce. It is an extra fee, but well worth it. Our service was mostly great. The waitress forgot to bring my Brother's tea and gave him water instead. However, she was honest about it. She fixed the mistake and didn't charge us for the tea. She was very attentive and great other than that. Overall, this was an extremely pleasant experience. We both loved everything that we tried and we will definitely be back when I am in town again. Pro tip: Yelp check-in will get you 10% your bill. read more

got some raw chicken in my takeout, had to throw half of my dinner away (salad and hummus) since it was with raw chicken and rice. I cooked my dinner the rest of the way. my husband didn't cook his. his chicken looked different. he said his food tasted old and stale. he later spent the night getting sick. beware of this place. the gal I called told me the hummus was Cookes and the chicken just looks that way. as a professionally trained chef I was aghast. take a look for yourself. This was good! I ordered the Chicken Curry roll, and other than it having a lot of banana peppers, I really enjoyed it. The wrap was warm and a little crunchy, and the hummus appetizer was tasty with the pita bread. Our server was really nice and they have good prices there. Not the fanciest food, but it fits the price point, and I definitely would come back. read more

I love their food, everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. I was accidentically over charged for a salad. I called the restaurant located in Hyde Park in Cincinnati and talked to Ruth. She went above and beyond in helping me. She was very empathetic and helpful. She sincerely listened to my feedback and gave me a credit. She made a difference. She was very humble and said she was just doing her job. I will keep coming back because of Ruth!!! read more

Fantastic meal and service. I ordered the lamb plate, and my friend ordered the beef Kafka plate. Both plates came with a side of brown rice and either garlic sauce or yogurt sauce. I ABSOLUTELY loved the brown rice topped with nuts and cinnamon. It's such a unique and pleasant blend of tastes. I can literally eat this rice all day. I usually dislike brown rice and prefer white rice, but this brown rice is scrumptious and is an exception! My friend and I shared the lamb and beef. I preferred the lamb much more. The beef was a bit dry and overcooked in my opinion. I was too full to eat dessert, but they have a big selection at the front. P.S. Check in on YELP to receive 10% off your bill :) read more

absolutely delicious Mediterranean food, plenty of options (including vegan/vegetarian), great hummus, great service

Aladdin's is consistently great. Wether dine in or carry out it has always been a good experience.

My roommate and I ordered Aladdins over the weekend. We got the shish tawook roll, Kafta roll, spicy cauliflower, garlic sauce and baklava cheesecake. The portions are amazing for what you pay for and the food is always flavorful. The rolls come uncut. However, the pictures you'll see are of the rolls cut in half. That is because I wanted you to see how delicious it looks on the inside. We did favor the kafta roll over the tawook and the spicy cauliflower was full of flavor, however a little soggy which may have been due to condensation (we ordered delivery from DoorDash). My roommate was excited to try the baklava cheesecake and she said it was okay - a little underwhelming. She is always happy with their garlic sauce. It's something she orders every time at Aladdin's. She puts it on EVERYTHING. That's how good it is! read more

Ordered a large takeout order for 10 people (a few with complicated orders). Aladdin's had everything ready on time, packaged securely for transport and folks raved about their food. Be sure to order extra garlic sauce, it's near;y impossible to have too much. Also? Get the hummus.) read more

I will literally always eat Aladdin's. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it! It's got such delicious food and a balanced menu... you just can't go wrong! Everything is fresh and flavorful, especially the hummus. It's the smoothest, creamiest hummus around. Served with fresh pita and the hot and/or garlic sauce, it can be a meal in itself. I also am a huge fan of their chicken shawarma, the shish tawook rolled pita, and the baba ganouj. If I'm feeling really hungry, I'll get the Genie's Combo plate, which is a great sampling of chicken mishwi on a bed of seasoned brown rice with vermicelli; Lebanese salata, hummus, lightly fried cauliflower florets drizzled with tahini lemon dressing, and turnips. Always fresh, always delicious, and never heavy or greasy. Love this place so much! read more

Always great service and food. We loved their Valentine's Day special! As a couple with one vegetarian, Aladdin's is a go-to for us.

I got the Chicken Curry rollup. The chicken breast was juicy and flavorful with an easy to chew mouthfeel. The curry was complex but not overpowering. The vegetables in the rollup add improvement in mouthfeel. The pita is soft and gives way respectfully to the juicy innards of meaty vegetable goodness. The garlic sauce is pungent, yet still smoothy, milky, and creamy. It provided the perfect cool balance to the sharper curry flavors within the wrap. This is a good value, tasty treat. read more

I feel like the quality has gone down at this location. I understand that food prices have gone up, and staffing can be difficult. Tonight, however, we received a wrap that was broken to the point where it couldn't be picked up. Portions are smaller, as well - the Mediterranean lamb plate came with about a cup of rice and was supposed to come with a sauce or dressing but neither was in our bag. When we called about the wrap, all we got was a promise that they will watch out for that and gave no offers of replacement. read more

This place is less to be desired. I had high hopes with 4.5 stars on YELP but I guess people have not really enjoyed real Mediterranean food at a Mom and Pop kind of restaurant. The best way to describe this place would be the Bob Evans version of Mediterranean food. I got one of the Jasmine specials with Chicken. I don't remember the name because it was bland and not even the hot sauce or garlic sauce could save it. The rice was mushy. The Diet Coke was flat and I was able to exchange it for Iced Tea. My wife got the Lamb and it was delicious! This is a another chain restaurant trying to make money on providing bottom versions of international foods. Do yourself a favor and support the smaller more flavor focused Mom and Pop Mediterranean places where an actually family member is cooking your food in the back kitchen. You would be happy you did! read more

Always good, always reliable! I come here mostly because I love, love, love the hummus. It is so creamy & the pita they serve is thin & awesome. So satisfying! The service tends to be a little slow so if you don't have extra time, pick a time when you do! read more

Consistently good food. Hummus and rolled chicken schwarma with Alladin's homemade hot sauce are the best.

Three words - I. Love. Aladdin's. Sometimes being a vegetarian can be hard, especially at establishments where the only menu item you can eat is a house salad (boring). However, Aladdin's is one of my favorite places because it has so many vegetarian options - THAT ARE DELICIOUS. I personally love the Mujadara Power Salad or Loubie Plate. These are usually my go-to's but I have enjoyed other vegetarian-friendly dishes I've tried here, such as the Len-Chili (half lentil soup, half vegetarian chili). For those of you who are omnivores, they have a lot of meat options as well. My boyfriend swears by their Chicken Shwarma pita, or Chicken Dijon Rolled pita. You cannot come to Aladdin's without getting their hummus - I highly recommend getting both the hot sauce and garlic sauce with it. The hummus is good, but the sauces give it a little something extra. Also, I could totally drink the garlic sauce by itself, but that is beside the point. If you have not checked this place out, you should. It has something for everyone, and I will be back again, again, and again read more

Why has it taken me so long to try this place??? It's so delicious! And I felt great afterwards - even though we ate about three baskets of pita bread with our small hummus plate appetizer. I love their bread because it's thin and lets their hummus take the center stage of every bite. [Their hummus was absolutely delicious and has NO garlic unless you ask for the dipping sauce. So for all my garlic-intolerant friends out there, this is your place]. The salads we ordered were also huge and so flavorful. Their menu is endless so it took awhile to find what we wanted to order, but I am so happy I landed on the Chicken Salad...Salad. I will be bringing everyone I know back here. read more

My boyfriend and I were starving after doing a bunch of errands around Hyde Park. We stumbled upon this place since we always drive pass it to go to Kroger, finally decided to give it a shot. As soon as you walk in the door your greeted with a full blown dessert counter. All looked pretty homemade to me and visually appealing. We got sat by our server who was such a sweetheart. She helped us with some menu deciphering and recommended their hot sauce ($1) which I'm glad she did cause it was freaking delicious! They have a huge menu, it was kinda overwhelming but I decided on their Pita Rolls for my main, hummus as an appetizer and mango lassi as my drink. HUGE portion by the way! Their pita rolls aka Mediterranean burrito, were stuffed with goodness! They were not shy filling that sucker up. I got steak, my boyfriend got the lamb (I recommend getting that) both were equally flavorful and tender. Service was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, and their food is on point both on flavor and price. FYI. If you check in you get 10% off your bill!! read more

Garlic sauce. Enough said, but also amazing service! This place has the most amazing hummous and garlic dipping sauce I have ever had at a restaurant. If you love garlic as much as I do, you ab.so.lute.ly. need to try their garlic sauce. When you order a plate of hummous and pita bread, be sure to ask for the garlic and spicy sauces. They come on the side, but you'll with the garlic sauce was served in a tub for you to bath in. Seriously. It is that good! The hummous is extra creamy and delicious as well. When I was here, I got the beef shwarma rolled pita sandwich. I love the pickles they put on it! With the tahini sauce, it was very flavorful! My boyfriend got the Aladdin's kabob roll, and was equally in love. We also got a slice of baklava, but I have no idea how we managed to eat so much. (In truth though, we both took half of our sandwiches home.) Also, the service here was phenomenal. We went during a lunch hour when it was moderately busy, but you couldn't tell from our waitress. She was very nice and gave us some great recommendations. She also offered to pack up more pita and garlic sauce plus drinks for us to take home. I actually liked the ambiance of the place. I know another review didn't like the decor but I found it welcoming. As an added bonus, the cushions in the booths were very comfortable! :) Next time: I'll try something with lamb. And garlic sauce of course. read more
