The only pro is that the burritos are GIANT. Like, giant. Which I guess they should be since it was $45 for two pastor burritos and a chicken quesadilla. Well, that and the staff were nice. It's not really Mexican food. It's like if somebody who had never had Mexican food tried to make Mexican food. Mediocre at absolute best. The chicken was slightly better than the weirdly sweet pastor. Cash only in 2026 is also very, very annoying.

Classic late summer weather, warm with fans rolling, and a split order of the rich Enchilada Suiza and a mole enchilada on the back patio. I always enjoy a good mole, but the Suiza enchilada was even better: a rich blend of poblano, tomatillo and creamy dairy. You'll first order inside, then move to sit outside where the food is delivered to your table. You'd think Northern California would routinely offer up consistently great Mexican food, but we've found the good stuff can be harder to find than you might expect. El Molino Central has it.

The tortillas were a bit greasy, but the al pastor, carne asada, and birria meat were well-seasoned and tender. Dipping broth for the quesabirria tacos was excellent. Dear lord... me and the rest of the customers all around me had a horrible experience. Our beepers would falsely go off, we go up to collect food, they tell us false alarm and keep waiting. No sorry, no apologies, no update when the food was gonna be there.. No explanation, nothing. The cashier at one point started laughing when another woman asked how much longer. There were dozens of people waiting so so long. I WAITED AT AN HOUR FOR 2 TACOS AND A QUESADILLA. I should have just asked for my money back. Customer service did not exist here today, such a bummer. I get it's a taco truck not a restaurant, but At least tell the customers if you were having some kind of issue. No one said anything to us except for the "turn your buzzer off it's not ready". Or offer something to compensate. Nothing. And an HOUR for tacos and a fricken quesadilla is diabolical. Do better.

The menu is simple but so what: you're here for the burger and fries. The signature Big Lou is a double burger with cheese, grilled onions, and pickles. Extra points for a toasted bun that doesn't fall apart. The crinkled fries are outstanding. Hot, nicely seasoned, and somehow not greasy. We almost came back just for fries. I wanted mustard for my fries and they gave me a mustard + ketchup concoction which was really good. Ask for it. Ok food might even be five stars for what it does. As a restaurant, maybe knock it down one. There's a small outdoor seating area but only one bench has an umbrella. Lots of hot days in Sonoma so wish all of them had shade. Also, flies. Many. The food itself was pretty large portions! I'd say it's enough to split between two meals. This time I ordered the shrimp tacos, avocado fries, and the horchata. I liked the shrimp tacos.
