Smoked meat poutine + chicken poutine
Lana S.

Came across this place Walking towards old Port. We were starving and this place had a decent menu and a cute outdoor seating area. My friend and I decided on two poutines and two cokes. I got the smoked meat poutine which was good. We were starving so everything tasted good at the time. There wasn't that much smoked meat which was disappointing but there was plenty of gravy, fries and cheese curds. My friend liked her chicken poutine as well. Both had a different taste but it was pretty good. The thing we didn't like is all the bees that kept buzzing around us while we are and the service was a little slow. Overall thought not too bad for our first meal in Montreal :)

Calamari

I ordered takeout from this restaurant so I can't speak too much on the dine-in experience. However everyone that I spoke to greeted me with a smile and was very kind. I was offered ice water while I waited for my order which was much appreciated since it was warm outside. I ordered the calamari and it was delicious!!! At first I was a little hesitant being that I'm from New England and sometimes when I order calamari outside of New England, I'm disappointed. But their calamari was one of the best I've tried yet! It was too heavily breaded, just right. And the sauce that came with it was so tasty! Highly recommend

We were walking by the Old Port and looking for a place to grab a quick bite. We noticed this place on the corner (great location) and decided to go in. The place was surprisingly empty on a busy day at the Port. We were seating right away. Our server was very friendly. The menu had a variety of items including pasta dishes and pizza. They also have a pizza combo with beer which is a great deal. We ordered the pizza and chicken nuggets and fries. We also had some drinks (canned sodas) and a draft Stella Beer, which was fresh and not flat. The food came out in about 15 minutes. The pizza was okay, as were the nuggets and fries. Prices were fair and reasonable for the area.

Bloody caesar and glass of white zinfandel

We stopped in here for a quick "snack"/early dinner. It's right across the street from the river and they had some outdoor seating but it was a bit cold so we sat inside. I got a glass of wine and my husband got a bloody caesar that was a little sweet. The pizza was great! We shared the Quebec pizza (I think that's what it was called) and it had all kinds of stuff on it including TONS of bacon. I really liked it. The crust was thinner and crispy on the bottom. It was 4 pieces total and they split it for us before bringing it to the table which was nice. I think it was around $15. If we were going there for a forreal dinner we would probably have gotten our own pizzas. It's a bit cheaper than a lot of restaurants we passed in Old Montreal. Service was nice and the ambiance was casual but also nice. Would go again!

Food was delightful!

Great spot for a delicious pizza. Service was fantastic and my kids were welcomed with crayons and paper tablecloths. Highly recommended.

The servers were nice. The pizza was good. But the carbonara was extremely bland and may have upset hubby's tummy.

In Montreal on business for the third time, I had so much to do that I needed an evening meal where…read moreI could (a) sit alone; (b) have leftovers that would make a good breakfast at 6AM so I could skip stopping on the way to the office; (c) eat something tasty. No. 900 on the edge of old Montreal (I think it is on McGill St) was such a treat! I got to know, in a very little way mostly, and more extensively in one case, all of the staff that run the front of house. Delightful, all of them! Kind of a graduate student crowd, very efficient, friendly, smart, and pleasant to talk to. I don't drink so I didn't try beverages. I was in town for the week so got to try several pizzas. The one that says it is spicy, is SPICY. I was at my limit but the delicious outweighed the spice and I did end up eating it all (in two sittings, not one!). I especially liked the milder italian sausage pizza and so wanted to try more of them.

Wish they would have told us it was going to be last call before we tried to order one more drink. The server told us that the bar closed ten minutes ago, and was very apologetic. So we ordered another pizza to go. We also had our last meal there. It was a little busy and they were short-staffed so they did not come around much and it took a long time to get our food that time. But it was worth it. Pizza is very good. So we're the meatballs.

Montreal now has world class pizza! After many years of coming here and being forced to eat…read morepoutine, smoked meat, great steaks, and Canadian interpretations on various cuisines ... I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.
