Just in town for UCI worlds. And saw this place was walkable. Staff was great. Pizza was great. Biere, eau avec gas... bien! I'll return after a side trip up to QC. Love this place. Bar seating. On point. I'd not eat a pizza w/ knife and fork. read more

This is a cute place with really tasty food and decent prices. There were a lot of people coming in and getting takeout, and I probably would do the same if I lived in the area. The service was a little iffy, we stood for quite some time waiting when we first arrived. The people in front of us were told that there were no tables available but we had a reservation (that they were able to run to the back of the restaurant and locate!?) so we were seated in one of the multiple open tables. Based on that, I would definitely recommend having a reservation. Everything was pretty slow all around and we only noticed teenagers in the front of house. Solid 3.5/5 experience. read more

We came in pretty late to order a quick dinner. We were able to get the salad pizza combo because it was after 9 o'clock. I enjoyed the arugula salad, my little friend like the fresh tomatoes. They didn't leave any water for us but we got the pizza pretty quickly. The dough was fluffy at the crust and the thin slices had a nice texture. Thank you for having vegan cheese options. They were out of any veggies or mushrooms so we couldn't get any toppings. Also, they told us they closed the outside, but then sat other people outside after that. It was dark and cozy in the restaurant. read more

Revisiting No900 six months after my last trip to Montreal and the staff that I'd gotten to recognize and know by name were not present, and that was slightly sad. However, the staff I encountered this time were just as efficient, energetic, and competent. The pizza, which I chose to build this time, was excellent as always. One word of caution that if you use their online ordering and are therefore routed to Toast or some other order service: I could swear that I was shown that the order would be started immediately and ready in 25-35 minutes. When I arrived at No900 about 25 minutes later I was told that the order had been configured to be ready at a certain time, and that time was about 25 minutes in the future from the time I arrived. I was shown the order info and can't deny the fact...but that isn't what I thought I ordered, so pay close attention to what is shown when ordering online so you get what you want. read more

The pizza here is on a top 50 list and it did not disappoint. This was our first dinner in Montreal. We were one of the last parties to be served on a Friday night. Wish they would have told us it was going to be last call before we tried to order one more drink. The server told us that the bar closed ten minutes ago, and was very apologetic. So we ordered another pizza to go. We also had our last meal there. It was a little busy and they were short-staffed so they did not come around much and it took a long time to get our food that time. But it was worth it. Pizza is very good. So we're the meatballs. read more

Great pizza! Stayed open late for our group Service was excellent too! Will return when in Montreal

Appalling service. Felt like we were treat differently as we didn't speak French, almost like second class citizens. French speaking tables around us got a notably different service. Food is good but nothing amazing. Unless you are French speaking we'd avoid read more

Nice location and ambiance. Looks like they added the entire restaurant alongside a brick building on what was once some space between it and the sidewalk. Fairly busy on a Tuesday at lunch. Helpful, bilingual server. Tasty food. Would recommend. read more

Good concept, so so execution. We ordered two thin crust pizzas for delivery. Even though we were just a few blocks from the restaurant, the pizzas arrived cold and soggy. What was supposed to be a grilled cherry tomato topping was actually barely cooked and watery tomatoes on top of the cheese. The pizzas were edible but there's not much more to recommend them. Perhaps dining in might fix some of the deficiencies. We'll find out next time. read more

I wasn't impressed with the service at this location. The setting is a cool corner location with big windows small cozy feel inside. I found the service to lack. The staff behind the bar was more interested in speaking with their friends / colleagues than making sure a drink was topped off or asking if I wanted to order more. I have eaten at other locations nearby and thought the service made the difference on the experience. The pizza is good, service has room to improve. read more

Great neopolitan style thin pizza with many selection and great flavors. Vegetable and 5 mushrooms good. Service was great and it's a cool little place. 4 stars as the dessert selection was limited and almost all has nuts I can't have. Would come here for pizza everytime. read more

I feel like we got so lucky in finding this place. We had just arrived in Montreal that evening and was looking for a place to eat that was relatively close by. Once seated, we were greeted by an amazing servicer (Mia) who made us feel at home and was ready to offer us recommendations if needed. And if you are not aware, this place is all about the pizza. As well as it should be, because each one of the pizzas we ordered were excellent! Even the GF pizza for my wife was amazing. The crust was so doughy and tender. And the tomato sauce was rich but not acidic. And great ingredients on top. I paired mine with a beer and all was perfect. But there is more. We asked for dessert options, and our servicer brought us a fantastic Tiramisu to cap off our meal. Again, what a great experience. read more

GLUTEN FREE / VEGAN REVIEW I used ro love their pizza when I used to eat "normal". Now vegan and gluten-free, I tried their margherita one ( wanted the mushrooms one but not available). Their crust base is a little too thick/smooshy to my taste. But the taste is good. The outter crust was perfectly crunchy and tasteful. Am not a fan of fauxmage in advance. This one was ok. The decor is beautiful bit the space is very narrow. We left after a group sat next ro us as it was getting too loud ( resto was not full). Bathrooms in basement with marrow staircase, so mot accessibility for everyone. Staff very friendly. In general, great spot for oven pizzas! (My friend who jas no food restrictions loved his!) read more

Aloha from Hawaii! Without knowing anything about this restaurant, I knew it was very hungry and very tired from lots of walking around Montreal. I have heard good things about the Woodfire pizza so I decided to stop in very tired and very weary. They invited me to sit anywhere I wanted to and Staff was so nice because I first decided to sit at the bar, but then moved to a table and she was more than willing to accommodate me. I got the sense that while people come here and it's popular. It wasn't too crowded and I did not have to wait. I got the margarita pizza which was delicious and so fresh tasting. Recommend a lot of people come here because the staff was very kind to me and the food was quite good. I came from a very far being from Hawaii and this was a delicious pizza. Sincerely much aloha from your friend from Hawaii. I should add that the price was good as well. Not too expensive at all. Reasonable. read more

Lovely romantic pizza/italian place. The service was great. I enjoyed my wine. The pizza is thin, and perfectly baked with a good combination of toppings. We also had the salad which was very fresh. The polenta was very good as well- most of the time I feel like it's a lot of polenta and minimal other ingredients, but their version is the opposite. Had a fun time here! read more

Since this was our first time in Canada, we had not experienced this chain before. Amazing neighborhood Neopolitan pizza parlour with great food, drinks, and service. The ambiance is low key but still quite sleek and fun. The fare is fantastic! Be sure to try the burrata pie which is served with a whole burrata that you break into - the pies here are very traditional so you need to eat them with a fork and knife as the crust is very thin and it is a bit soup-like in the center - as a good Naples pie should be. We also got the calzone which was solid as well - a perfect blendof ricotta, pepperoni, and mozzarella in a folded over crust. Start off with a salad and an arancini and you have a very well-rounded meal, The staff were great and I high recommend a seat at the bar in the back with the regulars. It's spacious and gives a great view of the restaurant and kitchen. read more

We dined-in once and did take-out once. We hit it just right in the early afternoon (Sunday 3 PM) to have it be less-crowded where we wanted to dine-in. The server was very pleasant. The other times we checked it was wall-to-wall crowded. Across the two visits we had the Pizza Antica for $19 CAN, the Pizza Margherita for $15 CAN, the Arugula & Lemon Salad for $9 CAN, and a Mandarinata Niasca soda for $6 CAN. Whether eating in or doing take-out it cost about $35 CAN with tax and tip. Very reasonable. The pizza is award-winning and it tastes like it. One thing that surprised us was that the crust was soft rather than crisp, but we assume that is the style and it sure did taste good! read more

First night in Montreal and I love a pizza and wine bar. This was across the street from where we were staying and was a wonderful first meal. I only got a picture of hubby's calzone- my polpette pizza was a blur - so good. And the Pinot noir :) I didn't know it was a chain until I saw at least 3 more while in Quebec - chain or not, this was great and I will be back! read more

Surprisingly authentic Italian pizza! Nice wine menu- it was lovely ordering off a wine list of Italian wines. I ordered the goat cheese and fig arugula salad. It was fresh and tasty, if not a little underwhelming, but good, nonetheless. I ordered the double, which included a very hearty portion of arugula and goat cheese, as well as slices of cooked prosciutto and fresh figs, with a light vinaigrette. My family ordered a plate of cannoli, which were quickly devoured. The filling was rich and not overly sweet-- just right! Evening ambiance is lovely. The lights were lowered and we enjoyed the picturesque urban scene through the large glass windows. We arrived after a day of touring Montreal with a 6 yr old in tow, but this is easily an affordable date spot. Do call ahead for reservations- it's a smallish spot. We were lucky to be seated. Efficient and pleasant service. The staff were friendly and very attentive. read more

Good food. Pizza is great, and interesting. Good drink. Very good beer selection, even if small. Very good service.

Pizza is on par with other neapolitan pizza places like in Toronto area. Thought, I expected it to have more of a firey/wood/a little bit of burnt (?) Taste. No. 900 is the only Neapolitan certified placed in Montreal I believe. Price wise, it is equal or cheaper it seems @ $16, but maybe a tiny bit smaller(?) Service was very quick and attentive since I came close to Opening time. read more

We had dinner at this chain pizzeria in old Montreal on our last night visiting Montreal. It's midway between our host's home and our hotel. With large windows on one side, it has a bright, casual ambience. We started with refreshing Pinot Grigio and Etna Russo. Of the three specialty Neapolitan pizzas (Porcini, Salami and grilled vegetable) we ordered to share, the fresh Porcini was the standout. The Caesar salad with pancetta for two was huge! The polpette served with tomato was just average. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant got busier so I didn't get an explanation for the No. 900 name, other than "cook in 90 sec". read more

This pizza changed my life. I've been to many of the highest rated pizza places in the world, but they didn't have anything on the culinary experience I had here. I ordered the Mild Italian Sausage Pizza and I swear that sometime during dinner, I blacked out and Jesus appeared to me in a vision and said "this is my body which is given for you" and in that restaurant I had my first real communion. The next day, I was nervous to visit again in case trying the food at this restaurant again ruined the perfect experience I had the day before. However, I went back and shared a marinara pizza and a charcuterie board with my husband. Now, going into this I was thinking that the marinara pizza couldn't possibly be THAT good but I was wrong. It was delicious. I loved this place so much, that we visited another location in Montreal for a third meal before leaving to go home to the United States. The other one was good, but the No 900 on Rue McGill was unworldly. I feel silly to love this place so much, since it is a franchise. But sometimes you just love what you love. read more

This is the b-e-s-t pizza in Montreal! My friends recommended this place and I gave it a try this weekend. The McGill place has a great view and a very cozy intimate feeling, great for a quick bite or maybe a casual date. For $12-$14 you can get an individual pizza. It arrives very fast, even when the place is crowded, so it is also a good idea to order on the register to go. The taste is simply amazing: I ordered the salami calzone and it was perfect. It felt like the pizza had great ingredients, especially with their spicy oil on top, simply amazing I would definitely recommend this place for people visiting Montreal since it is not expensive, the service is amazing and the taste is delicious. read more
