    Chicken "Fatoosh" minus the Fatoosh
    Abbey M.

Took the drive to check this place out since the reviews made it appealing. I ordered a chicken Fatoosh and beef shawarma sandwich. The Fatoosh was extremely disappointing! Iceberg lettuce, no pita chips, no tomato, soggy cucumber and a dressing not even close to the classic. The chicken was tender and again a different flavor - which I can appreciate individual family recipes. DEFINITELY do not recommend as this is not a Fatoosh salad and anything iceberg is a waste! However, the beef shawarma sandwich was KILLER!! 5 stars on the flavor, cooked perfectly and very moist. This sandwich had lettuce - which I was not at all expecting and was missing the onion and garlic you would normally get. Again, the flavor of this made up for the unexpected! I do think the amount of in the sandwich was on the skimpy side. A very flat wrap with tons of room to spare. Will I drive out of my way again...??? No. But if I'm in the area and hungry I would give them a second visit for the sandwich only.

The food isnt bad, but it's not great. Got a family platter and the portions are huge, could feed almost double of the recommended serving. However the meat is lacking in flavor and is a bit dry. The pricing is very reasonable especially for how large the portions are.

Combo for 3 with 2 extra beef kabobs! Delish and a great amount of food!

A tremendous amount of food when you order their platters! Fantastic yellow rice. All the shawarma, tikka and Kafta kabobs were seasoned perfectly. We weren't a fan of the soups/ stew and potatoes that were included with the meal, but nothing was wrong for it. Not a huge fan of curry so that's just our preference. It comes free with the meal. Fattoush salad and hummus which also came free with the meal were great. Plus they have hot tandoori bread with garlic sauce! Will definitely be back for sure!

Fatoosh salad with chicken shwarma. Carry out of course! #socialdistancing

We have eaten here several times both carry out and dine in. But during this social distancing order for coronavirus we have not been able to really see eachother, and definitely haven't been able to enjoy food and drink together. We also wanted to help out a local mom and pop restaurant that may be hurting as a result of these necessary measures. So we grabbed carry out and headed to a park to enjoy each other's company for a short while. This is a small spot located in an Arabic strip mall. The food is authentic and phenomenal. It's reasonably priced and carry outs are quick and easy. The restaurant is very clean and the owner is always very nice and polite. Of course we will be back. It's one of our favorite spots. Let's all hope that this social distancing lock down doesn't last for too much longer so that next time we go there we can dine in, or make the choice to carry out..

Take out. Soup, sharma wrap were excellent. The tabouli didn't have enough bulgher in it. The grapes were unnecessary. .

Didn't like it that much as the kebab had little sauce. The food was cold too. The guy taking the orders was nice though.

Open for dine-in, open until 10PM on Sundays…read more They are all out of chicken today, except for the chicken wings. No hummus either. We ordered a large Fattoush salad, no pita, small turshi, two lentil soups, falafel plate (comes with 8) and a beef kafta. We were given lots of lemons for our lentil soup, which is good on its own, even better with the fresh lemon juice. We also were given a sample of the hummus or lamb broth soup with chick peas in it, it wasn't bad. The lamb broth warms you up nicely. The turshi is nicely pickled and flavorful too. All of the veggies are super crunchy too. The pita wasn't my favorite, wasn't hot out of the oven fresh. It was store bought, no space here to bake their own pita. Have seen and bought these diamond shaped pitas at middle eastern grocery stores before. The beef kafta was super moist and juicy, nicely seasoned too. They are shaped like little patties here. The Fattoush salad is nice and fresh, added some sumac to taste the way I prefer to eat it. The falafel are super crunchy on the outside but perfectly moist inside and quite good. The sauce for the falafel is tart, good stuff. The bean soup in the tomato soup is quite good, simple, yet good. The tomato soup base is quite comforting. Some grilled cheese would go fantastically with this tasty tomato soup. We closed our meal with some Arabic tea. It's not bad. The food was all yummy, the bread could use some work. The service here was good as well.

Aliz Seafood House - Look to the disgusting fries

The menu is a Middle Eastern take on fish and shrimp. Most entrees can be ordered grilled or fried. All the seafood is on display at the restaurant counter, all looking very fresh. My dinner companion and I had spicy golden pomfret, which the waiter said was the restaurant's signature dish, and fish skewers. The golden pomfret, a whole fish, was spicy, but underneath the spicy coating, perfectly grilled, delicate and tender. The fish skewers were mildly seasoned but also delicately done. This was fish that tasted like we were dining in an ocean state, not the Midwest. The portions were generous, as was the house salad. Spice is the name of the game here. Since we were first-timers, the restaurant gave us a complimentary eggplant and pepper appetizer, like baba ghannoush but with a real kick. The red shrimp soup had a spicy red broth, cut slightly by the coolness of chopped shrimp. The antidote to the spiciness was a glass of lemon mint juice. It tasted of fresh mint and cut right through any lingering heat to cool down the mouth. The restaurant, a storefront in a shopping plaza, was immaculately clean, with good service. The only thing missing was the crowd Aliz Seafood House is sure to attract.

The first time they forgot the entire side of Rice, but shame on me for not checking your bag. The second time they quoted me 20 minutes on the phone and after we got to the restaurant and waited 35 minutes, she told me whoops, we lost your ticket. We wait 15 more minutes and even though I ordered kebab skewers, I was given weird thin grilled chicken breast with no vegetables. The other entrée was ice cold. We placed another order today, I even asked her to make sure it was correct because we've had two bad experiences back to back. Quoted 20 minutes, we get the food after 30 minutes and the entire sandwiches is wrong. So they remake the sandwich and give us french fries that are ice cold with the new sandwich. The lack of attention to detail for the cost of the items is just not worth it. Just disappointed overall... not sure what's happened there recently.

The chicken shawarma on the combo plates are drier than they used to be, and we order our meats medium. Our food hasn't been ready on time the past three times we've ordered from there. The worst was today, they told us 35 minutes and my husband is literally there still waiting, an hour after I called in our order. Please do better with your timing, we absolutely love your hummus and our friends and family always enjoy the food when we order from there.
