!Warning! You maybe overcharged for dinner prices when you order for lunch. It's kind of disappointing because we were happy with the food, but we ended up with surprises in our bill. Specifically we ordered the fajitas which were listed for $13.90 for lunch and when the bill came they changed us $25. We asked if this was correct and they said that we don't do the lunch fajitas on Saturday and also there is a extra $5 for mixing beef and ship. None of this was mentioned to us when we placed the order. We thought we missed this in the menu so we paid, left a good tip and when our way. As I'm writing this review, I double checked the menu photos and there is no note about lunch prices not being valid on the weekend (you can even place an order online for the lunch price). I'm fine if the price is $25 just make it clear in the menu so that there aren't surprises when the bill comes. Another issue is that the toilet in the mens room has no door. Other than that, the food was good overall, papa loca could have a bit more meat in my opinion. Service was good outside of the pricing issue, the atmosphere was pretty relaxed.

REALLY wanted to like this place Unfortunately it reminded me of the resort restaurant when we visited Mazatlan that caters to white folk. Not a whole lot of flavor but kids and old people love it. The dining room was absolutely empty at 5pm on a Sunday, holiday weekend so I'm guessing maybe this isn't a favorite of the locals either. The Good: Hubby enjoyed the enchiladas & crispy tacos Fresh produce The Bad: Didn't care for the shredded beef or the crispy shell it came in. The So-so: Chips & Salsa Rice & beans

Best torta I've had since I can remember. Nice clean restaurant and not too pricey or busy. Friendly staff definitely worth a revisit.

We truly enjoyed our meal here. Just driving through town and happened to see it and decided to stop and were definitely not disappointed.

The food is garbage and not authentic at all. I will never eat a meal here again. Also I feel like they don't clean the tables very often

The food was very good. The waitress was very inattentive and rude. They have no AC so don't go on a hot day.

The best Mexican food we've had in years! Tons of food for a decent price. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Finally stopped at this place during a trip down to Astoria. I'm pissed I haven't stopped sooner…read more So good!! Food was real good, moist and fresh, great bbq sauce and their sides were perfect. Staff was quick, friendly, funny and clearly enjoys working for the owners. Definitely a little country style, not a bad joint what so ever.

The Sour Cream Standoff!…read more I came with my best friend and from the start the energy felt off. She ordered chili cheese fries and asked for a side of sour cream, something I have witnessed her successfully order there before. The server immediately responded with attitude, saying they do not have sour cream. My friend calmly explained she has gotten it before, however the server remained firm and did not offer to check with the kitchen. When the food arrived, there was no sour cream so I politely asked if she had checked with the kitchen. She replied, "We don't have sour cream lady" and walked away without clarifying whether she had actually asked. When she returned, I said I was not trying to be confrontational, just genuinely curious if she had confirmed with the kitchen. She admitted she had not asked because she "knew they did not have any" At that point I asked if she could please just humor me and double check since it would take a few seconds while picking up food. Five minutes later a woman approached the table in full defensive mode and asked, "Are you the one asking for sour cream?" She identified herself as the owner and was immediately combative. The entire restaurant went quiet. It was wildly uncomfortable. She explained that sometimes they did have it but they do not right now. The issue was never about sour cream. It was about the attitude and unprofessional behavior of staff and owner, as well as escalation over something that could have been resolved in a few seconds. Beyond that, the overall experience did not improve. The restaurant felt unclean, the bathrooms were rough, and the food did not make up for the tension. It is one thing to run out of an item. It is another thing entirely to turn a simple question into a public confrontation. Disappointing across the board.

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.
