We were a family of four and sat near the window. It's true there's no AC, but with the windows open, it isn't so bad. The cushioned benches and colorful quilted ceiling along with the Moroccan lanterns really evoke the feeling of being transported to North and Western Africa. And I have traveled and eaten my way across Morocco. The chef here is from Mauritania, and the cuisine is similar to that of Morocco's. It's a pre-fixe menu, and we were given lentil soup with pita bread, hummus, and a platter filled with stewed beef & dates, chicken and green olives, and chickpeas all over couscous. The presentation was a feast for the eyes, and everything tasted delicious. The lentil soup, by the way, was the tastiest lentil soup I have ever had. I could do that, pita, and a salad and be satisfied. We finished with a pot of Moroccan mint tea, where our server poured the first round from way up high as they do in Morocco, surrounding countries, and the Middle East. He did great without spilling lol. Service was excellent. Our server was the only one working the dining room, and he did a great job attending to everyone's needs, including those of other diners around us.
