We ordered the Cedar Feast platter for six, and every dish was outstanding. The meat ghallaba was tender and full of flavor, the lamb chops were juicy and perfectly cooked, and the kabobs and kafta were beautifully seasoned with the perfect char. The wings (soooo good!!!) falafel, fried kibbee, and stuffed grape leaves were all delicious. The hummus was incredibly creamy, the baba ghanoush was wonderfully smoky, and the tabbouli and fattoush were fresh, bright, and flavorful. From the warm, comforting soup to the last bite of the main dishes, everything was absolutely incredible. Truly! The portions- incredible!!! As amazing as the food was, Chelsea made the entire experience even better. She was so warm, friendly, kind, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. The shawarma plates and chicken sandwiches came out loaded with flavor, and the fresh pita bread arrived warm in a plastic bag. The lentil soup and fattoush salad were hands down the best in the business, and they were complimentary, which immediately won me over. You definitely get your money's worth here. In fact, I needed a personal navigation system just to find my way through the mountain of rice on my plate. The service was top-notch--fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff moved with the kind of speed that makes you wonder if they secretly have rocket boosters attached to their shoes. The only thing keeping this from a 5-star rating is the decor. The interior feels like it hasn't been updated since the mid-90s, and the vibes are strictly retro in a way that wasn't intentional. If they give the dining area a quick facelift to match the quality of the kitchen, this place becomes an absolute 10 out of 10. Solid 4 stars. Great food, great people, and I will definitely be back with my appetite ready!

The veggies were Radish, cucumber and tomatoes. It's not bad, dressing is different than expected. Their big pita bread is fresh and good, soft and billowy too. The hummus, pita and fattoush was out first. The hummus is smooth and tasty. The foul or stewed beans not too bad. It's a tad bland and was just warm, not hot. The half chicken is dry rubbed and you can smell it, it's quite nice. The meat is tender and not dry. Tastes good with the salsa dip. The side salad is the Iraqi salad with pieces of lemon in it, rind and all. Takes some getting used to eating it. The quzi lamb meat was tender, but fatty, but not dry at all. The cheese borag is literally a mozzarella stick inside of a spring roll wrapper. It's good. Some tomato based dip would make it better or something with it.

It took roughly 15 minutes before anyone took our order, and over 45 minutes after that for our food to arrive. We ordered simple breakfast/brunch items, nothing complex. Throughout the visit, no one checked on us, and even requesting the check took an unusually long time. I came specifically to support an Iraqi-owned business and enjoy Iraqi food, which made this experience especially disappointing. The space itself felt sticky and had a slight odor, which detracted from the otherwise well-designed interior. These issues are fixable with more attentive service, regular check-ins with guests, and better upkeep of the space (for example, more frequent wipe-downs and subtle scent control). I still tipped the staff 20%, but overall this experience was disappointing. A lot of effort has clearly gone into the decor and live music, and that same level of care should be extended to service and operations.

I don't know what is wrong with people these days. I recently made this yelp account because i like to critique many things...MAINLY FOOD!!! First off the food is unbelievable here is the best that i have ever had i have gone all over and haven't had a place this good.service is amazing have never had a bad server (its OK people sometimes places are busy). Second the decor here is nice a little to modern but it works, really nice bathrooms. My favorites here are the boneless chicken with the garlic gravy (OUTSTANDING) with the rice and fattosh salad i also get the fruit smoothie (extra honey) the only thing i hate here is when they run out of the FRESH BREAD sometimes i come around 10 and they are out but it is still worth the drive my waiters name was kassem one of the best I have had here definitely read more

There are some great restaurants in Dearborn, this place is NOT one of them. The silverware was extremely dirty with weird crust on the glasses and hair on the plate. We ordered a Family Tray and Grape leaves, both tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The lamb kebabs and chicken were burnt, stale, and served cold. There were items missing from the Family Tray which after reading other reviews seems to be a recurring issue. The bread was almost inedible and garlic sauce tasted more like yogurt than actual garlic sauce. For a $135 the quality of food, lack of cleanliness and small portions make this place a complete rip off. There are much better restaurants right down the road. read more

This is my go to spot. Nothing else can compare. Literally. The chicken shawarma is the best I've ever eaten. So flavorful and delicious. Even the basic salad that comes with it is so tasty. It's just really fresh! The hummus is unreal. Veggie grape leaves and DA BEST. There isn't one thing here that I've tried and haven't liked. Make sure you get the tabbouli too. It's a winner. The combo plates and dinner plates are amazing. The service is always great, and the waiters and waitresses and extremely friendly and helpful. I got an event a few catered by them and everyone was raving about the food! They never disappoint here. read more

i had eaten here with a group a few years ago and it was kinda banquet style where there was a lot of food on the table and you pick and chose what you like. So I decided to return and try out something of my own choosing off the menu. The menu is large and the pictures help alot as I am not familar with mid-eastern food. I decided to order shish-kafta which is ground lamb and it is cook over and open flame and it was fantastic. It tasted fresh and was not over cooked and dried.
