We asked for the women final four game to be turned on and they were able to turn it on for us. We ordered fried rice and two sushi roles. It was so delicious!! Will be back for sure!

It felt…read morelike the quality of the sushi had gone downhill, and the overall experience felt uninviting. The atmosphere: The restaurant is spacious, and I like it when the outdoor area is open since it has a shaded setup and a fire pit. Otherwise, there's still plenty of indoor seating. The food: We started with the Korean Fried Chicken in the soy garlic flavor, which was probably my favorite part of the meal. It came out hot and crispy. We also ordered two rolls, the Double Toro Roll and the Double Salmon Roll. Both were drenched in a Japanese dressing or soy-based sauce, which caused them to fall apart almost immediately after picking them up. The flavor was overly sour and salty, making it hard to taste the freshness of the fish. Overall, the balance of flavors felt completely off. We also tried the Spicy Crunchy Tuna Bites, and to our surprise, the only crunchy element was a small part of the outer rice shell. Everything else was chewy and overloaded with mayo, so it wasn't a favorite for us. The service: The service was a bit touch-and-go throughout the meal.

Kumo is a family favorite even for my friends the live out of town. When they come in they want to come Back to Kumo. We have never had a bad experience here. The staff and waiters are always nice and welcoming. Service and food is never slow and the food is always prepared well and consistently. My favorite dish here is the shrimp tempura it's THE ABSOLUTE BEST and the reheat ability is also top tier with an air fryer. They have a wide variety of sushi and appetizers, and also have hibachi. Which is awesome when you want that dish without the show and the price premium. Everyone certainly will find something that they like here. The inside is nice, but can get slightly cramped when it's busy but it's cozy. The music is lively, the locals love it, and it's also great for birthdays. I highly recommend giving them a visit.

While the people working were nice and checked in with us many times, the issue was with us receiving our orders. We had a larger party, and expected a longer wait for food, which was fine, but the food came out at different times. By the time the last person got their food, the first few people were already finished eating. For food, I ordered a spicy salmon roll and a salmon skin roll. The fish-to-rice ratio on these was good, pretty typical order. This isn't the best salmon skin roll I've had. The salmon skin wasn't crispy because they left some of the meat on, which could be seen in the roll, so it was hard to chew through at times. This is serviceable sushi, but doesn't sit high on my list.

The broth is light but savory, and it comes packed with several large, well-seasoned dumplings that are clearly the star of the show. The dumplings are tender and filled with a good mix of meat and vegetables. It also had some nice additions like sliced scallions and egg ribbons that gave it that authentic home-cooked feel. It's a perfect option if you want something a bit lighter or healthier than the fried chicken, especially on a cold day. My only small gripe is that I wish it came with a side of rice to make it even more filling, but overall, it's a solid 4/5. Definitely a hidden gem on their menu. The service was amazing & the place is never busy. Perfect ambiance!

Today was an exception to the usual experience. Edamame were cooked to mush, tteokbokki (should be firm and spongey) was the consistency of overcooked spaghetti, and the smallest saddest wings I've ever seen in my life- I'm not exaggerating when I say I had three wings half the size of what I'd expect from Buffalo Wild Wings. This location is in need of some serious quality control. In the future I'd much rather drive a little further to another location than me disappointed like this again. Unfortunately I forgot to photograph the wings and since they were so tiny and pathetic my family finished them on me before I could finish this review.

We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.

With FB, you're fortunate to explore a sampling of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai & Vietnamese dishes respectively. The DIFFERENCE from most Asian fusion places is that each dish is a cultural stand alone. For example, if you order Kim Chee fried rice, you'll get a Kim Chee fried rice that you'd get at a Korean restaurant. Fried pork chops? Classic Vietnamese flavors. Their presentation may be a little different, but it is the flavors you'd get at a Vietnamese restaurant. Don't be intimated by the chili next to the menu items...it can be adjusted for the non-spicy friends joining you. The besties said they found a restaurant right down the road from where we live. We were there on a Sunday at 11am. It was fairly empty, but I heard it gets quite busy and I can understand why. They also have a bar so they serve drinks there.
