I needed some personal business cards printed, and I wanted somewhere else other than Kinkos,so I ended up going to this print shop. It is a family owned print shop that is runned by a husband and wife duo(Richard and Clara). They provided great customer service that other franchise copy centers don't provide anymore. Richard is very knowledgeable with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, so he will see if he can help you enhance the image even more, but that is if you want to. He won't force it upon you. He will also match the best type of paper to get a great quality print. After my business cards were printed I was very satisfied with the finishing product. Thank you Richard and Clara!! If you want great quality service and print this is the place to get them done at. You won't be disappointed. read more

When you talk about service above self Richard is the definition and the man to fit that saying. I was looking for a printing service that would be able to work with water color paper my fiancé had worked on. Unfortunately, we found out that after the paper morphs it cannot be used anymore to be printed on. I called Richard a Wednesday I told him an ideas of what my fiancé and I were trying to do He suggested to come in and he would show me what he had in mind. That same day My fiancé and I came in and we showed what we wanted to do with the water color that was not going to be realistically impossible because of the morphed paper, so he then showed us how we could still have that same affect but without the damaging affects of the water color paper. Instantly after putting everything together Richard showed us the finished product and my God was it stunning. It was what we were looking for and more. Not only that but the price was affordable and the timing was impeccable. Thank you so much Richard for your services and I apologize for the late review. we both love he finish product and want to share with you one. read more

AK Printing is one of those local gems that focuses on quality AND customer service. Really hard to find both nowadays and this one is right here in El Monte. Richard and his wife are super friendly, attentive, and always go the extra mile for their clients. I've printed flyers, wedding menus, escort cards, and a huge 20x30 stretched canvas and was more than satisfied with everything. Price is very reasonable, wait time is barely anything, and again, the customer service is second to none from the handful of printing companies I've dealt with in the last few years. I recommend Richard and AK Printing to all of my friends with no reservations and will continue to support this awesome local shop. read more

Great service and quick processing time. I came here to make some business cards for my new business. Clara and Rich made it a quick and easy experience. I didn't have a specific idea in mind and only had a logo to work with. They were creative and came with an awesome design and idea. I love the cards so much! They gave great advice and tips to help me make a final decision on the cards. The order was ready in a week and turned out perfect! Will be returning for future print needs. Thank you! Tip: Don't visit during lunch hours because the parking gets really crowded. Or just park around the block to avoid the congested parking lot. read more

If I could, I'd give 10 stars!! Richard and Clara were sUPER accommodating and got my rush order done so quickly! I came to print a custom sized card (3x6.75 is kinda...odd haha) The quality is exactly what I was looking for! Told them the specs and it came out beautiful! I've used A LOT of printers around the LA area and online so I'm pretty familiar with most printing presses. I'm honestly SO glad I came to them with this job and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for any of my printing needs~!! Thank you so much for getting everything done SO beautifully and efficiently!!! read more

These 5 star reviews are not a fluke! They ARE what all 5 star businesses should model!!! In all seriousness, it's only once in a blue moon that you come across a small business owner that puts their customers above others. Not only are their prices & work great, it's their customer service that makes them untouchable! Here's my story: I called looking for a quote to print my grandmother's funeral program. Richard was with a customer but Clara was kind enough to send her condolences and then asked me send the program via email. I got a quote within 15 minutes and agreed to the very reasonable price. Typically, they ask for 2 business days but they understood the time sensitivity of the situation and said it would be ready by the next day in the afternoon. The next day, I was so busy and running so many errands preparing for the funeral the following day that I FORGOT about the program. They had sent me an earlier email reminder that they close at 5:30 pm but by the time I checked my email it was already past 6 pm!!! The funeral was the next morning & I was in a panic. I call the office and lo & behold Clara picks up the phone!!! They were purposely WAITING for me! They were seriously waiting for me because they understood the importance of the situation. I couldn't believe my luck! I apologized profusely and rush right over to the store. Clara again gave her condolences and handed me the coveted programs. What's the moral? When you find a business such as AK Printing that cares so much about their customers, we all need to do all we can to support their business & success. They have just earned my business & referrals for life! THANK YOU, Richard & Clara! read more

I have been planning a wedding and stumbled across this printing place for potential wedding invitations. I met with Richard who was very helpful and honest and even gave me pointers on how I should go about the wedding invitations. I ended up taking a regretful route for my invitations and wish I would've listened to Richard. Nevertheless, I remembered the positive experience I had with him and inquired about getting labels done for my wedding favors. Richard was very prompt and communicated efficiently! I also appreciate the presentation of my order and think the box my labels came in shows just how dedicated this company is to their quality of work. The outcome was just as I wanted and I definitely recommend this shop for ALL printing needs! read more

I am the kind of person who usually did a thorough research before purchasing something either online or directly from a store. So this time, I did the same thing and I found AK Digital Printing. When it comes to printing business, you'll be amaze how many online stores out there as compared to traditional brick and mortar stores. To be honest, I don't personally prefer an online store where I can't really experience the same customer relationship with someone whom I can talk to directly and meet in person. Richard is definitely the definition of that very experience. He is the owner and knows exactly what he is doing, providing guidance and ideas and most importantly the best quality work at a very reasonable rate. I have my banner order completed in less than 3 business days as compared to 2-3 weeks with additional shipping fees from a regular online shop. Very efficient!! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to place any printing orders. read more

We are doing a pokemon party for our 6 year old pokemon crazed kid. I love Pinterest and downloaded lots of ideas. Then I found it difficult to find a good, reasonably priced place to print all my ideas. I went to yelp and started to call several places. Once, I spoke to Richard, I knew I had found my place. He was kind, asked a few questions to see what kind of files and paper I needed, and gave me a solid time frame (that afternoon). He was reasonably priced but his attitude was what really won me over. Kind, friendly, interested, helpful. I emailed him all my files. Got confirmation that he received it right away, and another email when it was done. I am under the impression, once I entered his shop, that this is not the type of job he normally does. He seems to do more commercial advertising and big pictures (some beautifully displayed in his shop). He confirmed this and added that he did it for me as a kind of favor because he knew it was difficult to find a place to print small projects and he wants to help out the people in his community. Usually, you say you want to support the small businesses to help them survive. And this just highlights the reason why it's important--better, friendlier service from people who care about their community. read more
