Shortly after placing my order, I received an alert that they had made a price adjustment for $7+ on an already $100 order. When I called for understanding as to why I was charged extra, the OWNER who answered the phone was vulgar, said I was charged extra because I asked for sauce, and hung up in my face and canceled my order. I'm honestly so confused by some of these negative reviews! I've ordered from this place multiple times through Doordash and the food was always so fresh, delicious and hot on arrival. The breakfast sandwich is soo good and the cookies and donuts are to die for!!! I've spoken on the phone with the owner a few times when my order was canceled (due to an item being unavailable) and never was he abrasive and rude. Too often, people fall into the mindset that the "customer is always right" which is incredibly toxic. He seems super chill and I love being able to support local black-owned businesses.
