The work is excellent and pricing reasonable. AJ took good care of my old car but suggested I get a new one to avoid upcoming costs. He'll show you the cost of parts and his labor estimate before he goes the work. I just recommended him to my neighbor. read more

Allen was very professional, he gave his expertise and even tested my car battery and alternator to help me trouble shoot the issue my car was having. Also the fact this was a holiday weekend he was about to close but still helped me! He gave me options for batteries that I might consider at his cost as well. Kind and Honest man which is hard to come by nowadays esp with inflation and labor costs skyrocketing! Most shops are looking to extort ppl esp women. Thanks Allen for being a decent human being! read more

Very detail oriented, explains what is done and the parts that he uses. Quality work, trustworthy, honest.

Great service at AJ's! Mr. Lee was very thorough and patient. Walked me through my entire inspection and answered every question I had. Once complete, I could feel the difference before inspection/oil change and after. My Nissan now purrs like a kitten and runs like a cheetah! Thank you!!!! read more

AJ got me in the next day for break work and was able to give me an estimate within minutes. He showed me the pricing of the parts and his labor fee was fair. He got it all down in a few hours and talked me through the whole process. Would recommend! read more

I must say, I am extremely satisfied with the service Mr. Lee has gave me and my fiancé for our American made cars even with the items that needed to be replaced. Yes, it's affordable, quick, and no hidden fees. Very very knowledgeable man, yes that old school hospitality. You don't see that no more, these days we're all just a number and everyone is up charging on parts! Not here, he's transparent and yes shows you and also educate you to know what is going to be replaced and price. I had this prior to relocating to Vallejo, in San Francisco and I am glad to share with you all my experience. Please call prior to visiting Mr. Lee. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! His service by far is the best I've ever received. He works efficiently and honestly. I never feel like he wants to upsell or recommend things to be done to my car that are unnecessary. His pricing is very reasonable, and for the level of service you get it is unmatched. Allen is a true professional, and very knowledgeable in his craft. Wish that I could find a mechanic like him in Southern California. People like him are hard to come by. read more

Allen has been an outstanding mechanic for me down through the years. He is a wealth of information and experience. I come here for everything. I even trust him when it comes to our new vehicles, as he is constantly taking classes to stay abreast on the latest technology. He has offered me great insight on caring for all our vehicles including our newer model hybrid. After a few bad experiences at the dealer, I've been coming here ever since. He has always been very honest and informative with the work he does. Everyone needs a good mechanic so I can definitely recommend AJ's Auto. And he really cares to do the work right! Thank you AJ's! read more

Excellent service by a mechanic with integrity. Bring my cars here for oil change and routine inspections.

Quick to act and very accommodating. Had problems with my break lights and Allen and his crew were able to fix and reasonably priced.

I kept paying Lexus a lot in maintenance fees for brake noise problems until I took my Lexus to AJ's Auto and they fixed it the first time for a fraction of the price. AJ's Auto has serviced 6 cars for us over the last 12 years and I go to him even for our brand new cars instead of the service dealers. So I ONLY trust my car with AJ's auto and he's ALWAYS treated me and my cars like family. Oh, and did I mention his prices are the best! read more

The Master Mechanic Allen at AJ's keeps all of my vehicles in optimal condition. Over the years I have had my experiences with dishonest mechanics attempting to overcharge for shoddy work... Allen has proven himself to be a honest no nonsense, straight shooting perfectionist... with his work ethic, and mechanical integrity firmly planted under his feet. If you can appreciate a honest fair priced Master Mechanic... you will appreciate the work being done at AJ's Auto. I couldn't recommend this place any higher. read more

The service is always prompt, and explained in a way that any neophyte will leave feeling like a veteran mechanic. I always know my car is in good hands, and that I will be notified of the vehicle issues, and presented any and all options of resolution. Really glad there's an honest auto shop in town! read more

My auto dealer told me that I had major problems that needed immediate repair. I went to AJ's to get a second opinion. He SHOWED me that there was no crack where a crack was supposedly developing and SHOWED me that the steering linkage did not have excessive play. He is honest and straight forward. He even asked me to name my price for showing me that I had no problem. I will return to him often. Thank you AJ. read more

I am very happy with Allen's work. You don't have to wonder if you are being overcharged or if unnecessary work is being done on your vehicle. He recently did a brake job and it replaced brakes that had been done on my vehicle by a different mechanic from some years back. The change in my vehicle is terrific and I enjoy my car again. read more

Left my car here for a repair with about a month before I was leaving California to go back to Minnesota. After a week I called and no answer. I keep calling everyday for a week and nothing. Show up to his shop and no progress on the car and no signs of him. Fast forward to 1 week left before I leave and I went to the other business owners that are by his building and get his personal number from them. I get a hold of him and he says he's been sick but he'll try and get in so I can bring it back to Minnesota. His excuse for not calling and letting me know what was going on was he was to sick. A week goes by and I had to leave without the car. It's now been two months and he finally calls me today and says it ready. He said the book says it's 6.9 hours of labor but he said there was rust on it so it took 4 hours longer than what the book said. I find this odd as I took to to Valvoline prior to his shop and they were raving about how good the underbody was and how there is no rust. He stated he is only charging me for 5 hours which is think gross inadequate. I now have to buy and plan ticket and spend 2 days driving it back to Minnesota, which the roads are full of snow and not safe to drive a corvette on. He did do good job with my truck but this is totally inexcusable. Currently looking for plan tickets, coordinating getting there and checking the weather. Not how I want to spend 3 days off. read more
