Charge me for another month they did however return a $90 deposit that was left. The unit down on that side smells like old diesel fuel and so will your belongings when you remove them. She communicated that she wanted to pay for the bid of the storage unit. But the owner sold it to someone else without her knowing. Now some random person is dressing their kids with someone's passed daughter. All of those memories were in those clothes and now it's gone.

First off, I'd like to say that YOUR BELONGINGS ARE NOT SECURE! I rented a small unit from May-October. When I returned to gather my belongings and move out of my unit, I noticed my bike had been stolen. I was dumbfounded given that the lock was still on the door. I told the manager, Chris Trujillo, about this. We took a walk to the unit itself to discover that the shared wall connecting my unit and my neighbor's unit had been ripped off the bolts, allowing easy access from the neighboring unit to mine. It appeared the person renting the unit next to mine entered my unit and dragged my bicycle through the flimsy partition. He could have easily taken much more, but I don't really own anything of value except for the bike. Chris, the manager, assured me that there were surveillance cameras constantly filming these units, and that he had access to all the footage. He also informed me that the person in the unit next to mine had already been caught stealing from other units and was currently in jail. Not only this but the suspected thief had at one point been hired to paint the facility (I can't verify this information, as I was never given the name of the person). Mr. Trujillo assured me that he would look through the footage, file a police report and keep me updated on the legal proceedings. He also told me he would reimburse me half the value of the bicycle. These were all reassuring things that I would expect from an upstanding business owner. Sadly, Mr. Trujillo hasn't followed through with any of these promises. I feel duped because I thought he would actually care that something like this would happen at a business he runs. As of today, I have heard nothing but empty promises from Mr. Trujillo. He hasn't followed up on sifting through the footage so I'm not able to pursue the thief. He hasn't notified me of any police report. He hasn't reimbursed me like he told me initially. I have repeatedly tried to call him, but now he won't answer my calls. I now realize he only told me these things to calm my nerves after the realization of being victimized, but it's clear that he never intended to follow through with any of them. What is really concerning is Mr. Trujillo's disclosure to me that the suspected thief had spent time working at the facility. This leads me to believe Mr. Trujillo and him could have had an amicable relationship and could potentially be protecting the thief by being uncooperative and uncommunicative with me. This is very disconcerting to me and I wanted to warn potential future customers to consider another storage facility that is run with security and integrity.

I plan my budget and it is not comfortable to have a monkey with a firearm in hands (storage manager) near you and your life. By the way - they rent this unit again (#90 unit) using the same promotion: $1 for the first month ($39 usual price plus $12 insuarance). After that they raise prices (by 50%) after 3 and 6 months (I talked to a manager). So dont be traped in this "tasty" price - it will not last for long.
