Within 24 hours our furniture was out and stored in a safe location. The bad news is that Better Box was usuriously expensive. How expensive? $10,333.48 for moving and storing three rooms of furniture for two months. Yikes! Ok, a moving client can swallow a high cost in an emergency. In our case we had to get our furniture out of the house quickly. But for such a price we expected our furniture would be safely cared for by Better Box. But our possessions were NOT well cared for. When Better Box returned the furniture our home two months later there was substantial damage to our furnishings; Better Box claimed that a Stickley living room chair had a broken leg when they picked it up. It didn't; it was a new chair. Better box punched a hole in the back of a floor to ceiling wall cabinet and hid the hole by placing books in front of the hole. The legs of our dining room table were scraped in storage. Better Box bent a leg of metal floor lamp and placed the bent leg against the wall so we would miss the damage until after Better Box received our check. And on unloading our mesquite credenza, Better Box smashed the plasterboard of our kitchen. The manager reassured us that the Better Box repair team would come right over to fix the damage. Five months later we are still waiting for their team. So be very careful when dealing with Better Box. They are certainly fast, they have lots of moving people, who will descend on your home, pack you up and move your furniture quickly, but their fees are astronomical and they refuse to pay for the damage that they cause. Our conclusion - There are much better movers in Tucson. We will never use them again.

I left a great review last time in 2022 but my experience this time was horrible it was almost…read moretriple what I was charged last time and DOUBLE the estimate this time, the mover I had was incredibly slow and didn't follow instructions and made excuse after excuse for why they took so long. He wrapped things I told him not to and not just wrapped them but blankets, bands and plastic wrap. When I asked him about it when he walked by me with 5 things that I had told him didn't need to be wrapped, (because it was taking WAY longer than it should) he told me he needed to protect his shins!!! He also claimed that the move was 100 feet from door to truck (not 50 ft as I had told them). Images show how close it was. When I spoke to the office manager after the move and told her how unhappy I was with how this move was handled, she informed me that the person who did the move was the owner and her husband and that he FORBID her to give me any kind of discount. I'd recommend looking at other movers who are in the area, because you have zero recourse with this company and they don't stand behind their work or follow your instructions.

I was surprised that the job only required two people but sure enough--after a little experimentation on the dolly/mats--they had it on the truck. Everything was unloaded perfectly and they were helpful to the very last minute, including helping me rotate the spa to figure out the best orientation for the electrical so I could better inform the electrician of any limitations. I personally witnessed them being incredibly careful moving the unit on to the truck, strapping it down for transport, driving slowly, and unloading it off the truck. All in all an excellent experience. I can't confirm that the tub made it to the destination leak-free just yet but I can assure you if there are any issues, it wasn't due to Whiz Whiz.
