I had a moving coming up and reached out to several companies. I liked the promptness and professionalism of Big Rick's moving and went with this locally owned company. Moses and Johnny showed up early and were very kind and efficient. They checked with neighbors in case they needed to move the truck so they could get out. They handled my vintage couch and bookshelves like a baby. Moving from a third story unit to a one story home was alot of up and down the stairs. And Moses and Johnny handled it professional and were a pleasure to work with. Thank you for your hard work and attention to detail! Appreciate you. I appreciated the fair pricing for the great value provided. Thanks Big Rick's moving! I will use you for any future moves. read more

I've used Big Rick's Moving Co. in the past and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a moving company and not sure who to call. Rick and his crew are reliable, professional, and know what they're doing. They show up ready to work, take care of your belongings, and get the job done. I'm in Phoenix and Big Rick is based out of Tucson, but one thing I can tell you--it doesn't matter where you're at, Big Rick gets it done! If you need moving, packing, loading, unloading, or just need some heavy stuff moved that you don't want to mess with yourself, give him a call. Solid company, solid people, and somebody I would definitely use again. read more

What can you say about a company named Big Rick's? It creates big customer expectations. And the team certainly delivered. I packed everything I could but they still took the beds apart and put them back together. Took down all my art from the walls. Very polite. I highly recommend them. read more

They were willing to work with me on price, the process was fast & efficient. I had asked them to move only large furniture from my small apartment. Would definitely recommend!! So kind and caring. read more

Arrived on time. Got straight to work. Good communication. Advised when there was a breakage on the load. Quick unload and were helpful! Delivered on their quote, their service and their effeciency. Thank you guys!! read more

We just had a simple move of an extra large refrigerator across town. Where others quoted truck fees and hourly rates, Rick provided a fixed cost that was reasonable. When it turned out it wasn't as easy as initially thought he never mentioned anything about money, and was more concerned about damaging the fridge and property than I was. It turned out to be the best experience we have had with any mover. I can definitely recommend Big Rick's Moving and will use them again. read more

Moved my son and a friend from one house to another. Rick was responsive to messages, early to start and finished quickly. Very impressed with his service. Highly recommend them. read more

You have proved my points through your reply. Your language alone should make people think twice about using you. Major regrets! Many of our belongings including plants are not here! You never fixed the glass for our table. Months went by. You were aware that you broke it! It's still not fixed! It was so unpleasant dealing with your unprofessional business demeanor that I never mentioned all the other belongings lost or damaged! Potential customers beware! Your years of incarceration have left you with a filthy mouth and little ability to effectively deal with women! I'm quite sure you never intended to make us whole again. That is precisely why you should offer customers an insurance plan. Something needs to change! read more

I was recommended to Big Rick by a friend and he was super responsive when I first called. He told me to text him my address and what time and he confirmed within 20 minutes. I let him know that it would be two separate moves as me and my boyfriend were moving in together and he said no problem. The guys got there right on time and were so great! My apartment was 3 stories and they were going up and down flights without any complaints. They were efficient and super friendly! They loaded up my apartment, my boyfriend's apartment, and then got to our new townhouse which also had a flight of stairs. They were very responsive when given direction about what was going where. Since our move is temporary, we look forward to hiring them for our next move! We will definitely recommend this company to our friends. Thank you to Rick for having an amazing crew! read more

Big Ricks Moving in Tucson Arizona gave us a FANTASTIC experience. The BEST PRICE to move from Tucson to Phoenix. They were careful, nice, clean, honest. No surprises, no asking how many steps are from parking to the apartment, no difficulty about anything, no asking hidden fees. The Best of Best. Geta and Claudia read more

I had scheduled them weeks in advance yet on the day of moving they had more of a priority with Banner moving company that was scheduled that very morning. This was all I heard for at least three hours, Complaining in every which way on how time-consuming my move was going to be and that Banner would have to wait. Not treating me like I'm a customer at all, but more of an inconvenience. On top of that, walked into my 800 square-foot apartment and told me the way I had my boxes piled up and I wasn't ready for the move even though everything was already boxed away. needless to say he complained that I had too much stuff in my house comparing me to a hoarder. Saying he was being kind cause he just tells it like it is. He never did ask why I had so much stuff and that I had just come from my stepfather's funeral And those things were packed among those Boxes. In order to help them save time so they could get to their next customer that was more of a priority (Banner)... I had to help them move. I tried to do as many things possible to make it convenient for them so they could get to their next customer in a more timely manner. The mover named Moses shamed me because he found a mice droppings and proceeded to mention that I needed to throw away furniture. I was absolutely shocked, embarrassed and shamed by this statement. At one point, I went into a room and cried. By this time, I was absolutely done and wanted them to just unload everything and for me to schedule another company. But by that time the truck was fully packed, And it was supposed to be a happy day for me moving into my first home. Once we actually got to the home, things were unloaded so quickly boxes weren't put in the correct rooms. My couch wasn't even put back together. They were trying their hardest to get the hell out of there so they could head to Banner. I was charged twice what I was quoted with no detailed invoice or explanation as to why I was charged that amount. What's crazy is they actually had not picked up every single thing in my house that I had to rent a U-Haul to finish the move Between myself and my 11-year-old. When I called texted and spoke to the owner, he had no knowledge of what has happened during the move. When I reported to him a few things (not everything) that Moses did that were ignorant, he stated " it makes me want to fire him.". I do not recommend this company. There are other companies out there that will treat you better., And will keep their comments to themselves, And not try to shame you for whatever housing condition you live in. read more

We hired Big Rick's Moving for two jobs, moving our own items from one house to another and packing and moving my MIL's items from her apartment to our new house. They were on time both times, worked very quickly, and took good care of our belongings. We'll definitely hire them for any future needs! read more

Best dudes, helped make our move a super fun day instead of a stressful one. Huge recommendation!!

Big Rick was responsive and communicative. It took a crew of 4 almost eight hours to move a 1,000sq.ft condo about three miles at a cost of $3,000. We did have a lot of stuff but it took way longer than expected. The quality of the packing was not great. They used foam peanuts... which I'm still finding under furniture two months later. Nothing was broken tho. So overall, it was a decent move just overpriced and lengthy. read more

Move an office that's been in one location for 25 years with literally tons of boxes, heavy wooden and modular desks, bookcases, whiteboards to take down, a large heavy wooden conference table, and lots of mish mash. Move all this gear and stuff and set back up the desks and conference room table all in 1 day. Sounds like a chalkenge! Big Rick's assigned two teams of four experienced guys who tackled the job systematically and methodically. Nothing got dinged or broken, and no one was injured. They were consistently polite, friendly, and willing to accommodate the last-minute scramble packing that hadn't been completed before their arrival. I recommend them for commercial business office moves. They were Safety First and production oriented. read more

I needed a small move with very short notice. Rick was very professional and accommodating. He sent two movers, Brandon and Lalo, who were amazing. They were friendly and took very good care of my stuff. I would recommend them to anybody who needed a move of any size. Definitely, a 5 star company. read more

Honest, punctual, and integrity. Just a few words I would use to describe Big Rick's Moving. They showed up on time got right to work. Not a knick of damage during the move. On time. Very efficient. They don't try and drag out the hours for more pay. Very friendly and respectful of other's property. Was very comfortable trusting these movers and will use them again if I ever need their services. Can't go wrong with Big Rick's. Reasonably priced. Above and beyond. Also extremely easy to book and the price quote is detailed, precise and charged what they said. read more

This a great group. Big Rick's Moving responded quickly to my request and Richard made it easy to navigate the project process. Crew showed up and took care of everything I needed moved. Came to load up our truck for our move and complained about everything from the very beginning: Us using U-Haul, the U-Haul being dirty, it going to be "a miracle" to fit everything in a 26' truck even though it's a 3 BR house without a sofa or bed frames, and then just paced the house for 30 mins, not loading a single box - to finally "decline the job" since we "aren't ready." I carefully selected this company due to the great communication in scheduling and because of its raving reviews. The service I received was far from what I expected. The main guy who showed up spoke down to us, was very sarcastic and rude, and the guys looked like they just got out of prison. Advice to all - Seek help elsewhere! These guys will only make a stressful move worse. Now, left to do it all ourselves ---- Thanks "Big Rick." read more

Just an update to my previous post. I finally found the receipt for the damaged bed frame snd mattress. I sent it to Rick in an email to start an insurance claim. I have heard nothing back. I've sent him 3 follow up messages, all ignored. So much for professionalism and customer service. read more

THE WORST! These guys showed up with a broken truck. Couldn't get the lift down. Cursing, throwing things and scramming. They were there to pick up one refrigerator which they took out of the garage and left it outside in 112 degrees. Didn't put anything back. What a nightmare. read more

I've known Rick for several years and he is the ONLY mover I trust. He has done several jobs for my family and goes above and beyond each time. He takes pride in what he does and doesn't abide laziness in his staff. This most recent move I called him short notice for a move on New Years Day. He immediately asked me when and where-not a moment's hesitation to take the job. I can't say enough good things about Rick. I count on him and trust him. You can too. read more

Oh this guy is on the up. He responded first when I put out a request on yelp, he worked with me on the date as I needed to change it, they showed up early and went straight to work. Big Rick & his crew were amazing with moving all the large stuff. He is very meticulous and on point when it comes to wrapping things and making sure everything transports from point A to point B in a careful way. Also, he and his crew helped me put together a shed. He stuck to the price I was quoted and they worked diligently to get it done. I would highly recommend Big Rick. read more

Big Rick's came through for me after my booked movers canceled the week prior to my move. He and his two guys had their work cut out for them, with a home full of kids and medical type equipment. It took 9 hours and not once did they complain or have a bad attitude. They were kind and friendly to my kiddos and stuck with us to the end to make sure everything was exactly where I needed it, even helping me layout rugs perfectly. Very reasonably priced, so I tipped well for a job well done. Highly recommend! read more

There is good news and bad regarding Big Ricks Moving Co. The good news is that they showed up on time in all cases on our move, both to load and unload. The bad news is they are trying so hard to be "all things" to all people that they do not complete the move properly. In our case, they broke a desk, dining room set, poked holes in an office chair, cramed items so close together that they got damaged and CONVENIENTLY seemingly LOST several items of signiificant value to us. Requested a refund but no answer. I would never use them again. Lynn M read more

We've used Big Rick's twice and each time was great. Guys were on time and very professional. Moses moved us both times and on Aug 23rd he and his partner(name?) sorry can't remember, did an amazing job making all our belongings fit on the moving truck! Packed it so that nothing moved or broke as we made a move from AZ to NC. Highly recommend. read more
