They issued me a truck and the contract showed fuel at "F". When I got into the truck the needle of the gas gauge was a little below the F and I thought nothing of it. I drove the truck 20 miles and on the way back I refilled the tank with 2.1 gallons of gas, the gauge was showing the same reading as when I left. When I parked the truck the attendant was busy and told me he would email my receipt. I thought no problem, it was moving day and I was in a hurry. The emailed receipt showed a $13 charge for refueling--WTF?. So I stopped by and went to the sales counter to ask about it. The same guy who was nonchalant about it yesterday now claimed he goes strictly by what's shown on the contract paperwork, and the needle on the gauge wasn't at "F". He claimed that he had to put two gallons of gas in the truck (a total of four with the two I had already put in) to get the gauge to full. I called BS on this, he was trying to claim the truck only got 5 MPG which is nonsense, so we both went out to the truck to look at the gauge. It was still reading less than F and when I called him out, he tried to claim that he did me a favor because he could have put 2-3 more gallons in it! The guy is a liar and a petty thief. They robbed me of $13 and lost me as a customer. Hey Rita Ranch Self Storage, don't spend it all in one place.

I tried to return the truck the same day and they were closed. The guy working there, who lives upstairs, came down and told me that I can leave the truck, but then told me there is no after hours drop off because of abuse. So, I drove home and returned at 9:15 am on Sunday to find out that they don't open until 10am. I noticed a sign on the front window that had a checklist for after hours drop offs and there was a drop box for keys. So he lied to me too. The truck had more gas than when I rented it. They charged me for 2 days, then they charged me 2 other times after that, in addition to what I already paid, which made me overdraft and receive over draft fees. When my wife went to the place to resolve the issue, they told her that they couldn't help her. I do not want to short anyone, but I do not want to pay what I did not receive. I used the truck for one day and now they are making me pay for 2? Or 3?? They advertise $29 a day and I somehow accrued almost $220 for a half day. I will never step foot in this place again.

On the morning of the move, they arrived with two movers, father and son, and a third was on their way. However, when Robert saw the quantity of the move, he cancelled the third mover. To me, that's integrity. He could've easily had the other mover show up, maintain the original (higher) quote, and I would've been none the wiser. They were efficient, friendly, quick, and most importantly, all of the items arrived exactly the way they picked them up. On top of that, we have a duo adjustable bed that they expertly took apart, wrapped, unwrapped and reassembled just the same. Last, they were able to put our furniture exactly where we wanted it. By far the worst storage place I've ever had ! I've had for 3 months , maybe been there 3 times in…read morethat whole time and today I was locked out of my unit and told I had to leave the property because I had my dog with me and all of a sudden it's in my lease that my baby chihuahua who is a very very obedient, well trained service animal that you can't even tell he's with me ever cuz he's so quiet and well behaved and so small . So in order to get into my storage i had to leave my dog in the car or have someone leave work to come get him for an hour which also means he would be away from me and not able to do his job, leaving me at risk medically. Mind you I signed my lease while I had both my dogs with me not just the one and they had treats in the office for the dogs and gave me a bag when I asked for so I could pick up the poop cuz I left my bags in my truck. So how does a lease I signed then all of a sudden change without my knowledge, forcing them to be so rude with me and my surface animal to the point where they locked me out of my paid storage till I follow rules in my lease.... Unbelievable! Than tell me I can not be there longer than 2 hours and once the hour and a half mark passes(90minutes) - the employee was then at my storage door telling me to start packing up that I needed to get out of there. It was time to go and then would come back every 10 minutes to make sure I was ready to leave at the exact two hour mark - 120minutes to unload a huge house I just moved out of - impossible! How to keep my U-Haul another day pay the extra money cause I was not allowed to be there longer than two hours. And two wrap everything up with a cherry on top. My unit completely flooded when it rained today to the point where everything in my storage that was on the floor was soaked ruined or has to be washed, cleaned or thrown away cuz there was so much rain very quickly ! They had to have known that it was going to flood like that ! It was not their first day of that location that had ever rained. They have been there for years. Knowing that exact unit had to flood like that frequently and still sold to me .

Called the Manager, Tim Marksberry at the Tucson facility on Vail Road with absolutely no resolution. He claimed I needed to move out of the space before he could apply a credit to my account. Then after we moved out, he claims he needed to run this by Jill in accounting who was on the East Coast and was having trouble getting a hold of her. Weeks past with no resolution. Finally, I had to dispute the recurring charge on my credit card. Horrible experience. Oh did I mention, their power is not stable. Don't count on having your RV with electrical connectivity. They turn it off.
