I have been a loyal customer since this location opened, and I have never been treated with such disrespect. I found an item without a price tag and did exactly what customers are supposed to do- I brought it to an employee to have it priced. As I was in the middle of checking out, Rosa suddenly took the item out of my hands and refused to sell it to me, claiming it was "not for sale" because she needed to "investigate" it. I calmly asked, "I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" Instead of explaining the situation professionally, she spoke to me with a rude, confrontational attitude and began questioning me as though I had done something wrong. I remained respectful the entire time, yet I was treated like I was being accused of something simply because I wanted to purchase an item. The situation became even more disturbing when Rosa followed me outside of the store after the interaction. As a customer, that was intimidating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. No employee should ever make a customer feel that uncomfortable. I've shopped at countless thrift stores, including Savers for years, and I have never experienced behavior like this. I left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and deeply disrespected. The donation attendants have consistently treated me with kindness and professionalism, which only made Rosa's behavior stand out even more. If Rosa's actions reflect Savers' standards for customer service, then customers deserve to know that. If they don't, then management needs to address this immediately. No loyal customer should be treated with hostility, have merchandise taken from them at the register without a proper explanation, or be followed outside of the store. This experience has completely changed my opinion of this location, and unless something is done about the way Rosa treats customers, I won't be returning.

I managed to score a rare mid-century Scandinavian piece for just a few dollars, which made my day. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.

First, parking was easy! There is parking in the back and along the side, as well as street parking, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about finding a spot. As soon as I walked into the vintage clothing store, I was greeted right away by someone who I believe was either the owner or manager. I started browsing and immediately noticed a lot of colorful, vibrant vintage pieces from the '60s and '70s. But don't let that fool you--there are definitely some hidden designer treasures mixed in! As I went through the racks, I started checking the labels and spotted Vera Wang, BCBG, Rachel Roy, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, and several other recognizable brands. So take your time and look through everything--you never know what you're going to find! One of the gentlemen working there also told me they typically get new arrivals every Monday or Tuesday, which is definitely good to know. Now, ladies, there is a secret surprise in the back! They have an entire little area dedicated to vintage wedding gowns. It looks like a mini bridal boutique and is absolutely worth checking out if you're looking for something unique. I also noticed someone doing some sewing while I was there, so it may be worth asking whether alterations or repairs are available. They have a fitting room and plenty of mirrors throughout the store. The jewelry selection was a little more limited, but there was so much clothing to browse that I didn't mind. One important thing to know: payment is cash or Venmo, so come prepared. And bring your own shopping bag--I forgot mine, but you know how that goes! At checkout, I was told about their sister store next door, so of course I had to check that out too. Great service and a great vibe there as well! There were plenty of people browsing, and this location is more focused on vintage furniture, home items, and appliances, although they do have some clothing too. Everything was neatly organized, and both stores were clean and easy to shop. During Labor Day weekend, the clothing store even had a $5 sale section, which made the treasure hunt even better! Definitely visit BOTH locations. And when you go to the second store, don't forget to head outside and check the back area because there is even more furniture out there. If you enjoy vintage shopping, designer treasure hunting, unique furniture, or simply discovering something unexpected, both stores are worth the trip. This is not a legitimate business, I do not know how the actual store is, but they are not legitimate online do not order from them. They will steal from you. The owner replied that it was automatically canceled because of fraud when everything else that I bought today went through without a problem. I'm sitting on a well over 20 K in that account, and when I tried to call the business, there is nobody to speak to it goes to a voicemail telling you to contact their email. So if this guy really cared about a sale, he would be contacting me right now trying to make things right and get me to buy the product because I actually did need it for a gift and it's going to be hard to source elsewhere.
