Yet since taking my car to the dealer for these major repairs is costly, several good friends recommended Valley Smog & Auto Repair (since they were very happy with their vehicle repairs and repair costs), so I decided to give Valley Smog & Auto Repair a try. I must say that their customer service is exceptional! The front desk associates are so very super nice and friendly, and they seem more like talking with a good close friend who knows all about auto repairs vs. often dealing with drab/ordinary auto repair front desk associates. Best of all, when I was getting a quote for my needed repair, the desk associate volunteered and asked me if I was a member of the AAA Automobile Club, and I said "Yes.", so I was able to save even more money on my needed repair. Most auto repair shops would probably never ask you if you had a AAA membership so that they could charge you even higher vehicle repair prices. Then most of all, I sincerely appreciated that they never tried to do any up-sales for my repair. They politely quoted me on the work I wanted done AND they did not include any other suggested repairs. From start to finish during my car repair, the entire team was super nice, professional, courteous, responsive, and straightforward. My car failed smog despite there being no check engine light, I made an appointment to drop it off…read morefor diagnostic, Matt took the time to listen to my explanation of why I was there and then advised me until the check engine light activated the diagnostic couldn't be done, looked at the smog slip, explained to me it was a cold starts, since I recently replaced the battery the system had to do multiple checks before from a cold start (I thought putting a few hundred miles on my car would have been adequate) and recommended that if the check engine light wasn't activated after a month to go ahead and re-test it for smog. I really appreciate it when I come across a local business that operates and communicates straightforwardly.

I explained my problem to him and without hesitating, he opened my hood and took a look. It took him about 5 mins to see I had a lose battery cable, which he fixed! They verified that it was the Cadillac converter which there's no way that the Cadillac converter should have went out within two weeks of purchasing the car unless it never passed emissions meaning the car was temporarily fixed just to sell. It was never given a small paperwork from the car which is required by the state of California so I did not pay the remaining $800 down I was told to continue to drive the truck until the park came in three months later we get a call to say that the part is in we took the car in two days after being jerked around about the car. They tell us they're repossessing the car for not paying the $800 down after you sold us a bogus car to begin with that wouldn't have never passed the missions which by the way is against the law in the state of California do not purchase a car here unless you plan on having issues with the car the whole time you have it very horrible customer service
