Excellent addition to the neighborhood and a must try if you like dumplings or sushi! They have an excellent lunch special where I was able to get 3 quality sushi rolls and a bowl of miso soup for $15. The staff is very friendly and everything we ate was delicious! It's slightly tucked away next to the Jackson Ave 7 train stop, but if you are in the neighborhood, I recommend stopping by. I look forward to future meals at Aja Dumplings!

So freaking good. Fresh and so tasty

Everything is so delicious. From the dumplings to every sushi roll. They take the time to make everything by hand. You can tell that each piece of your dish is hand made. I love eating here. One of my favorite new neighborhood restaurants to eat at. The staff is so nice and welcoming. They personally appreciate your patronage and treat you like family. Highly recommend.

Accommodating, quick and tasty if you need a basic dumpling fix, friendly staff. Have had better bao buns at lesser authentic places.

First time ordering from here and it did not disappoint. Their shrimp tempura is very tasty as as their pork dumplings.

When life is lackadaisical and you need an uplifting force or encouragement for catharsis to be resilient as an awakening, dumplings are summoned. It brings presence to every bite for awareness and genuine aliveness. My emotional pain cannot be disconnected for healing. As I sat in silence I checked my email waiting for my order fulfillment and arrival. This business is a local cafe, not quite a restaurant but very Asian specifically a medley of Chinese dumplings and heavy Japanese decor atmosphere. I was very bewildered of this dumpling business is Japanese or Chinese cuisine, or possibly both incorporated? Asian fusion? Japanese beckoning cat, maneki-neko 招き猫, is heavy presence for decor atmosphere throughout the entire cafe. There is one large Japanese beckoning cat with one paw raised in a beckoning gesture by the cash wrap register. This beckoning cat is adorable! The menu is very simple offerings but does not describe the contents in detail. It is not a extensive list as it is a cafe. The server/cashier advise to order first, sit to eat and pay last like a full service restaurant. This business has been listed in my Yelp bookmark to try for a long time. The slightly warm temperature has teased me to induce Spring Fever as the first full day post Daylight Saving Time, 2026 and I was outdoors for walk as exercise. Sauces and condiments are available at a station counter. There is one large TV. Background music is somewhat loud audible and sourced by Spotify. Customer service is average. There is one unisex facility on the premise and is relatively clean. There is a small parking lot in the front shared with neighboring businesses. This business is located in a small shopping complex named Metro Plaza. Chicken dumpling noodle soup, $12.00 The dumplings were pan seared fried, unfortunately not traditionally boiled especially for noodle soup. The dumplings are average. The noodles were rice vermicelli with half boiled egg and scallions in Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen soup base broth. The Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen soup base broth and half boiled egg is a replica of Japanese Ramen noodle soup. It was served piping hot. Chinese soup spoon Tangzhi ladle where the end is at a angle is provided with one disposable wooden chopstick as utensils. Jasmine Tea, cold $1.50 This was awful! It was one tea bag filled with ice. I did not taste the Jasmine aromatic flavor. Stay away from ordering any drink as Song Dumpling Cafe is good for dumplings. It is certainly no bubble tea business to obtain quality Chinese tea. After my MTA NYC Transit SBS Q52 bus ride, I walked from Woodhaven Boulevard moving east on Metropolitan Avenue to gain access.

The teens in our family raved about the salted egg yolk fried crab. We have dined here a handful of times since they've opened in the last few years and noticed their service gets better and better with every visit. The wait staff are really on top of it. They keep a mindful eye and also offer a delightful dessert service at the end of the meal, fresh cut fruit with sweet tong sui soup. While there are plenty of Cantonese restaurants in Elmhurst, the thoughtful and respectful team at Ocean Bay make all the difference. I heard their dim sum is quite good too!

I went here for a group gathering/lunch and lemme tell you guys this place is so good. The noodles were crispy and fresh. Eggplant was spicy but not too spicy in fact it was very crispy and pretty ok and I take dumplings very serious and lemme say they're good but a bit salty and soft. This was relatively satisfying experience a bit on the expensive side but the staff are incredibly nice always checking on us to see if we needed anything else or wanted for food and tea. Great staff and the ambiance is relatively relaxing very interesting. BUT BUT BUT HALT the downside is a bit too much MSG in the food Haiyahh!!!. My mouth felt dry after and was very thirsty but overall still decent. But I may have to reconsider going there again tho...

After asking if the restaurant accepts credit card, they said yes. If they didn't, I would have had to find a bank and probably left since I didn't want to walk anymore. They gave me a cold glass of water, which I quickly drank since I didn't know I was dehydrated. She refilled my glass while I perused the menu. Thank you so much! Finally saw beef and tomato broth which would be great for a cold day. Ordered and it came very quickly. This hit the spot without me knowing that this is what I wanted. We order what's available on their kiosk machine. I ordered some fried rice because how can a Chinese restaurant make bad fried rice? Well, i can say don't order the fried rice here because it's bland and flavorless. My daughter ordered some mini dumplings and she was still hungry after she finished and she is the lightest eater in this world. Any case, it gets worse. We ordered 3 drinks. She comes to us 10 mins later that they didn't have any tea left (we ordered a smoothie, passion fruit tea and honey lemon tea). How does a place run out of tea with 2.5 hours before closing? Highest profit margin and you can't make a batch of tea??? The girl at the register said she was refunding us back for the drinks. Not surprisingly, we never got the refund. Overall not a great experience and will not come back.

Cash only - local tofu joint with so much freshly made product. The weekend special rice rolls (cheung fun) are freshly steamed and worth the wait - steamy and super silky. Make sure to sauce up your rolls before leaving because the entrance gets crowded due to the line. Do refrain from eating them too fast though because they come out piping hot. It's a tofu shop first, so there is no seating available for you to sit and eat. On the line, we saw many cars from local businesses in the area pull up to pick up buckets of tofu and 10 pound bags of bean sprouts. Beyond the weekend special steamed rice rolls, we could tell from the bustle that their other products are very popular with the neighborhood restaurants. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the flat rice noodles (Ho Fun) being made behind the steaming rice rolls section. I highly recommend trying their other products too - their tofu pudding blew us away with how silky it was. One of my friends came back the following week for more of their fresh soy milk (still warm in the bottle). Freshly made, this tofu shop is one of a kind and powers so many people and businesses with their delicious products. --- Note they are taking December off from selling their weekend only fresh rice noodles which I sincerely respect. Although I'll miss being able to pick up my weekend Elmhurst freshly steamed rice noodles, I appreciate they are giving themselves time to take a break.
