Pizza was okay - going for a NY style but Pittsburgh level of cheese. I stopped in to grab a couple of slices for a quick dinner since I was on the road all day with my daughter. The pizza looked like it had been sitting there for a while but I just wanted an easy dinner so I asked for them to be warmed up. We got a slice of cheese and their bbq pizza. Lots of reviews here about customer service .. they seemed confused when I walked in and asked what I wanted. Maybe most folks who walk in are there for pick up orders? Not sure. But I was pretty astounded that 2 slices of pizza was $10. $5 a slice. They don't have the by the slice pricing listed anywhere on their menus but this felt pretty high. I live locally so maybe I'll be by again on a whim like this trip but I wasn't overall impressed. read more

Stopped in to get a few slices and it was actually pretty darn good. Two big slices. One probably would have been enough. I'll have to remember this place when I'm back in the area. read more

Their food is delicious and I will be back, but two stars because they can't just make food and give it to you. There is always drama. Your order may take 2+ hours, it may never come, they will fight any refund. If you place a pickup order, they start to make it when you arrive. And the food they give you is often wrong. But it is always delicious. And I will be back like an idiot. read more

Sauce and toppings . . Not bad . . The crust was pretty thin so I only gave 4 stars, but that's just my opinion . Some people love that and if you do then here's a pizza for you !!! read more

Order was placed a bit before 5pm and was estimated to be arrive by 5:53. At 6:23 it had not arrived so I called. Long story short, there's another town nearby with a same or similar address to where I was at and they delivered my order to that address instead of me. So they had to remake my order and send the driver out again. I was told it was going to take about an hour, but it ended up being less than that. As far as the food, it was very good and there was a lot of it. I actually wasn't able to finish all of it and will make lunch tomorrow out of what I didn't finish. Although I just realized, as I was typing out this review, I had included a tip and after having the additional weight and all that I have some misgivings about the tip. read more

Delivery was quick, but overpriced-- nearly 15 dollars and they're less than five minutes away. Meal was delivered to door at hotel room (nice) but they did not knock, text or provide a clue that it was delivered. There were no napkins or utensils--had to make trip to front desk, negating the pleasure of door service. Calzone was too doughy and lacked meaningful taste. Avoid. Side salad was excellent however. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Read the other reviews concerning customer service before you order from this travesty. There MUST have been a change in ownership or management. This used to be such a pleasant little place for pizza. I guess the cat is out of the bag with 2.5 stars on Yelp. read more

First, let me say that I can not review the food, as I never got my order. I would suggest not ordering online as that was a real issue. I ordered several hours in advance as we would be in the area taking our granddaughter to swimming lessons. It was my granddaughter's birthday and she wanted pizza. We placed an order for a Jumbo Sicilian with extra cheese and paid the tip as well online. 10 minutes prior to us picking up the pizza, we got a call that they did not have our pizza made. We showed up to the store and they gave me a refund of the food but not for the 15% tip. I pointed that out and they continued to argue with me. I got my 5 year old granddaughter a piece of pizza and had to listen to how they were under staffed and that I didn't place my order in time because someone had placed a large order at 2:00. My email receipt says differently, but they continued to argue. My husband, who is 100% disabled veteran, had to park far away because the delivery person parked in the handicap spot. We pointed that out and they continued to argue and say very unprofessional words. My granddaughter ate and the rest of the family got to place an order at another pizza place. So much for trying a new place, as we are fairly new to the area. We wanted thick cut pizza, but instead we got a rash of excuses and sworn at by the owner and his son. Not a good experience. read more

PSA- Take it for what it's worth! Will never order AJ Bambino's again! We received the wrong pizza and when I called to have it replaced they refused to replace it! And the owner actually fought with me over the phone about it! What has happened to good customer service!? read more

We LOVE their ranch and chocolate cake! My favorite place to go while we are in town!

The 2 1/2 collective rating is about right. Very basic Bb pizza. The notion of equating this place with NY pizza is ludicrous. No place in the history of NY pizza ever runs out of pizza slices. This place runs out of slices. Immoral. The argumentative little prick who runs the place assures my non-return. read more

Pizza was excellent and service was wonderful and attentive. I love the crackly crispy crust, it hits the spot. I hope people can remember that delivery is just one facet of a business and one star is really unhelpful in relaying relevant info about the business as a whole. Also coming from NYC, who the hell orders delivery from a by-the-slice? Seems like a you problem. read more

The White Pizza is great but a bit overpriced for a pizza. Better to pickup than have delivered, delivery fee is outrageous. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE . I ordered food and then called back to cancel the order. They faught with me over the phone and then I told them I understand the frustration but the price was higher then what I had and I can not afford the meal. we got off the phone and an hour later a pizza man is at my door. he then LETS HIS SELF IN MY HOUSE . my kids are in the living with me on the couch and everything as this stranger walks himself into my home without permission and anger over the pizza. once I started to yell out "are you in my home ? " he stated "pizza bambino you ordered a pizza " and ran out. read more

Live 9 minutes away! It has now been over 2 hours and 10 mins since we ordered. I should have read these yelp reviews first. Have to be nice to the delivery person though bc it's not their fault. Food is okay. We probably won't order from here again at least not delivery. read more

Ordered a delivery direct last night through their website and it never came. After waiting for 90 minutes I called the store and they said none of the online orders went through. I asked them to refund and he didn't know how to call back and talk to the manager in the morning. So no pizza, no refund, wasted 90 minutes waiting and I have to call back. Owner said the power went out and the printer never got hooked back up because of the power. When I called the worker already knew from someone else that didn't get their food the orders weren't working....Hmm maybe then they should have done something about it instead of oh sorry, no food for you and we're keeping your money until tomorrow. Owner wanted me to drive to the store to pickup my refund. Acting like it wasn't his fault for a customer not getting their order. No compensation offered. A free pizza or even half off would have kept my business for all the hassle and wasted time. Instead, the owner acted like it wasn't a concern of his. Never again. STAY AWAY, the owner doesn't appreciate his customers. read more

Never ordered for delivery. But man, their food is amazing! Definitely try cheese bread!

Had AJ Bambino's cater our pool party and the food was amazing. Both the Baked Ziti and the Pasta Salad were both great. The only thing better than their sweet sausage was the HOT sausage. My only mistake was not ordering some of their cheesecakes for desert. read more

CROCKS, absolutely the worst service, the price on the flyer has nothing to do with what they charge, when you call to complain , he is rude and said you sign and paid for it , is nothing to complain about, if you order 25 bucks they happily charge you near $50 bucks, this company is disgusting, management is terrible, the poor driver is afraid of anything ready to leave after he deliver the pizza not trying even to ask for tip , because he knows people will be mad in few minutes read more

Great service! When I walked in I was welcomed with a gentle greeting and attentiveness. I just ordered two slices due to having to be at the airport in 10 minutes, otherwise I would have ordered an entire pizza. The dough was amazing, we ate everything including the crust which is a rare occasion for us. The pizza wasn't spectacular but it's definitely something better than you would find at a mom and pop store in Los Angeles! All in all I'm happy! read more

Rude employees and they charge a dollar for every time you use a credit card. They go on to explain that the owner has to pay $900 dollars a month. Sounds fishy. Plus the pizza is not that great. Many other options nearby. read more

WHERE DO I BEGIN. 5:23pm I ordered pizza soda and breadsticks. My phone number usually pulls up my address but immediately the guy rambled off the wrong phone number to me and I said no and gave him my correct number and my address. I was patient while he put it in the system as new customer which was odd. I've ordered from them for 3 years. Ok so I fall asleep 2 hours later 7:15 I wake up starving and thought where is my food. I called them and they said oh glad you called we have your food right here. I said why, he said you gave us the wrong address. I said repeat the address and it was in fact my address. I said sir that's My address he said no there is no apt by that number. I said I've lived here 3 years. I send his cell phone a picture. He said well I'll send you the food now. I said no I don't want cold food and why would I think I would get it now if you couldn't find my apt before. He said well you will have to give me the correct address. Now I'm starving and I have him my address again he said that's the same address and I said yeah because I live here .Sir you have delivered here for 3 years. My husband gets on the phone now and says can you remake our food and as he was about to offer to pick it up. I'm in the back ground now saying no make them deliver it and remake it and he's on speaker so he said to my husband (" I feel bad for you because I have a mother like that" ) ?????? Now I ask for the manager he said he is the manager. My husband at that point said give us our money back we won't order from you again. NO REFUND ......NO FOOD.........WORST PEOPLE EVER...... I got a receipt from them via text message. The address on the receipt is wrong. It's not my address. Yet they insisted the address I gave them 10 different times is wrong and that's not even the same address on the receipt. I save all my receipts I have a small business I plan to gather 3 years of receipts go up there show them how many times I ordered from them in 3 years and how much money I spent and how that one comment lost him that much money. Not to mention the cold food they tried to send, how it became my fault That some how u would lie about where I live and finally promised refund and no refund or food. JUST AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A BUSINESS. read more

Ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni pizza and an Italian sub. Wait time was a little longer than anticipated or expected at 1 am but was just happy to be able to get something at that hour. Place was very busy for 1am as well. They forgot to put pepperoni on my pizza which I loved with because again was hungry. Pizza was very good, sauce was a little bland for my taste but crust and cheese blend made up for that, above average. Sub was very good. Overall would recommend and would return for sure just leave enough time lol read more

Ordered pizza and waited an hour and a half for pizza that had barely any toppings on it. Forgot our breadsticks and the hot pepper cheese balls were old and cold. The one pizza had the cheese stuck to the top of the box and the box wasn't even closed all of the way. Paid $43 for less than acceptable service and food. Very disappointed as our hotel even recommended this pizza place. Others in the hotel ordered pizza from them as well and ended up canceling and getting Dominos due to the outrageous wait time. We're from out of state and wanted to contribute to local businesses, but this unfortunately was a huge disappointment. read more

Terrible service. Took an hour and a half to receive my order. When I called and politely asked how much longer it would take, I was interrupted and corrected by the person on the phone (May have been the owner) telling me that it wasn't an hour and half but instead an hour and 10 minutes. Well, by the time the order arrived it was over an hour and a half, and guess what, the pizza was ice cold. Mind you, we were literally down the street. What really was baffling about this entire situation was the fact he was ignoring what I was saying over the phone and was busy counting and calculating the time to prove to me that in fact, it wasn't an hour and a half but instead an hour and 10 minutes LOL. Wow. Good for you, fantastic way to run a business! Also, now seeing you only have 2 1/2 stars on Yelp..I'm not the only person that feels this way! Good luck! read more

Love the pizza but service sucks. Ordered through their website on Mother's Day and went to pick up. Person behind counter seemed shocked that someone was actually coming in. Seemed confused when I said I was picking up an order. Tapped away on the tablet and said he showed nothing. I showed him my phone confirmation. He tapped away some more and said give me 10 minutes?? Never said sorry or " I missed your order" or offered to throw in breadsticks for the extra wait. I had tried calling 3 times to actually place an order with a live person but they don't answer the phone. Won't be back. read more

Terrific food, but delivery drivers will steal from you by adding extra tips. I have been ordering from AJ Bambino for years. And I always give a 20% tip or better to delivery drivers. Yet a driver had the audacity to add an extra 3 dollar tip. This is some of the better Italian style food Moon Pa has to offer. But with this lack of integrity I will never eat or order from AJ Bambinos again. Integrity is the most important ingredient in my food. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. We ordered our food and waited for almost two hours. When our food finally got here everything was cold or hard and we were handed an empty pizza box. When we told the delivery driver he asked if we had eaten it. The delivery driver finally agreed to go back and get our pizza. We asked if we could have a fresh one since we didn't want to eat cold pizza and we were told no. Then when they called to let us know that our original pizza was on our way we asked to speak to the manager about everything and when we expressed our displeasure we were told that we would not be getting our pizza or a refund. He even threatened to call the cops for harassment when we asked for either a refund or our pizza. read more

I won't return. They chose to charge me a fee to use my debit card and said nothing about it.

Pizzas are great! My favorite is the traditional pizza and what ever topping my husband and I feel like that day (most of the time it's pepperoni and sausage). The salads here are served pittsburgh style (with French fries), steak and chicken salad is absolutely yummy with their ranch dressing. The pastas, I have only tried the frutti de mare and the chicken Alfredo and both were good, and as for dessert I tried their tiramisu which they give you a good portion of it. I only gave 4 stars because there have been a few times when I have waited longer for my order than what they quote of 40-45 minutes and that's pick up not delivery, however the people that work there are nice and I think the gentleman who I always see there is the owner (not sure) but whoever he is, he is always nice and pleasant. A place definitely worth trying, yummy food and friendly service. read more

Never again. Order took nearly 2 HOURS to arrive (we live 10 minutes from the restaurant) on A THURSDAY and by the time I called to cancel they said it was out for delivery (spoiler alert - it wasn't because it still took 30 minutes from when I called to ask) and I'd have to address it with their third party web/app company 'Slice' for a refund. Dealt with them and they stated that there was nothing they could do (basically a ponzi scheme) bc Bambino 'didn't say anything about a refund'. Then the kicker 'here's a $5 promo code for your inconvenience.' Also, shit pizza. Just like all of the mediocre pizza places in Coraopolis. read more

Their communication is poor, they made us wait over an hour for our food, and when I called to inquire where it was- IT HADNT EVEN BEEN MADE! I was so aggravated with their incompetence. Not even a call?!?! They tried telling me it was too far to deliver to me, meanwhile they're less than 2 miles from us and had delivered to us before. When I described the order, they suddenly remembered it coming in but couldn't find it? Ugh it's a shame when the front of house idiocy deprived people of a restaurant good food. read more

My family and I just moved in to an apartment complex nearby. Decided to order food for moving day. Let's just say I was more than impressed. We also ordered a xl pizza, the sauce was perfect and my 4 year old loved it!! Highly recommend this place to everyone! read more
